Do NOT support cloud gaming. It's the first real foray into allowing companies to charge you for software you don't own and cant use offline. Plus it's worse quality than local processing in every conceivable way,. You WILL end up paying a monthly subscription for each individual game if these greedy companies think people are stupid enough to pull it off. Don't let them, don't support cloud gaming.
Hate to break it to you champ, but you already don't own the software on your discs. You own a lease to it and every game on the market could update to brick their game at will. It's funny seeing the propaganda against cloud and digital games meanwhile the physical media you tote around is just a digital game starter key. And to use XCloud you just need a gamepass ultimate membership. To use GeForce NOW you need to own the games on a store platform. So really your just fighting digital games again which I addressed above.

the fire stick gamepass is for casual gamers that are the same ones that would play games on the switch or the wii, yes you can play online multiplayer but you can also drag race a mini van; why would you? your not gonna play anything that requires concern of response time on the fire stick, for that reason there will always be a need for a console. I got the firestick just to try gamepass, it works.... but it also shows me why i have a console, its more of a companion to the xbox instead of a replacement.
Maybe dont live your life around brands and trends and live it around what makes you happy and brings you joy. How does microsoft doing any of this hurt YOU?
Physical copies YOU own is the way to go. Did anybody forget about the STADIA fiasco that costed gamers their games they bought that wasn't physical?! If Microsoft is too stupid to push their consoles more, then they deserve to lose as badly as the Neo*Geo!
Is xbox gonna go native handheld still now that they have cloud gaming? what do they really want to do in the next generation? do they really want to go the subscription model now?
I personally can't do controllers with lights on them. In dark rooms I find myself looking down at the lights annoyed more then concentrating on the game
To those saying "just go PC" : 1. A good PC rig us super expensive. Way more expensive than. A series x or a ps5 console. 2. We don't want to deal with Windows at all. We want to press a few buttons as possible and play almost instantly. That is all From a series x and steam deck user.
A few seconds difference in loading a game compared to the wide variety of games you will get compared to xbox or playstation. No longer worrying about paying for online, backwards compatibility, what gen a game will be on etc. Theres definitely pros and cons to both but consoles wont be relevant much longer or if they are everything will be cross platform so their profits will be maximized.
@JacobC-i8dDude. you can buy games third party and even emulate free games including pirating if you really don’t want to buy a game. And if you’re really complaining about the digital library but don’t mention that ps5 and xbox both have options where they do that same exact thing. A console is there for convenience, you can’t complain when you don’t get exactly what you want. Coming from a pc player with all consoles. PC is far better.
@user-gi1dd2gb6h What about them? All those companies you mentioned do the same on your console. You signing into an account to play their game. You really don’t understand that a console is just a dumbed down launcher.
It’s pure stupidity. Streaming video games needs to go away. It isn’t good for everyone unless they have a great internet connection. I have fios and even with that it simply isn’t like hardware based games.
People who say this never have actually tried the services. If it wasn't for cloud gaming the entirety of COVID and beyond would've been hard for me. Thank to cloud gaming on Spectrum mobile data I was able to play games when I was inbetween homes. Even later on I rode my bike a lot to other areas and would always have games on hand and it worked perfectly off that data. You don't need god level wifi for it to work. I play Overwatch 2 ranked all the time on Geforce NOW and am diamond ranked. If you claim you have used the services and have great wifi and it doesn't work well. Get someone to check the levels on your connection. Sometimes what they install has to be tuned to work properly which happened to me last year. Went from a bad connection to perfect all because they had to tune their hardware.
I get where people are coming from but at the end of the day cloud gaming is just a taste it’s gonna have problems, when a bunch of people are playing it gets laggy. Not only that your limited to only the games on game pass
I think an Xbox Series Stick is a smart move given the direction of console gaming. Most games today are multiplayer and require an internet connection, making the old model of playing offline a thing of the past. However, these smaller, cheaper Xbox Sticks would rely entirely on cloud servers, meaning you lose access to your games if you're offline or the servers go down, reducing true ownership. Once all games are cloud-based, companies will likely introduce subscription fees for storage, similar to Apple's iCloud. While the initial cost may be lower, we'll end up paying more long-term to access and play games we've already purchased. Gaming could evolve into a lifelong subscription where we're constantly paying just to access what we think we own.
no stick drift on the elites, just keep it clean. I usually have my elite about a year before the bumper dies usually its the right one and i get a new controller about every year by garanty
Crazy you never get drift. I go through an elite controller every Six months. No I don't throw it, I dont intentionally abuse it. I may press buttons hard but that's it and it's not intentionally hard, it's just how I press
I used the first and second Elite controllers and I love paddles however I had a lot of drift issues and my series two has been sitting around collecting dust since about a week after the warranty expired. I decided to try the Fusion Pro which unfortunately is wired but since I play at a desk its not really an issue for me. I will say it is a great controller and I have since upgraded to the 2nd and 3rd versions. I have had a small amount of drift after about 1-1.5 yr use but I get them from Best Buy and with the protection plan I just upgrade to the next model with only a small extra cost with adding the protection plan as well any any price difference. If you like elites but don't mind wired I highly recommend the Fusion Pro. Side note though I doo prefer paddles over buttons (like on the Pro 3) but paddles do have a habit of being bumped and falling off so pros/cons in both.
As a non-gamer who doesn’t own a PC, I got my first console Xbox Series X years ago to play GTA 6. I chose Xbox because it was on sale and I like the hardware. Otherwise I don’t see any reason why first time console buyers would get an Xbox especially if there are no good exclusives. It looks like MS is looking for immediate profit instead of increasing the market share of the Xbox.
Thanks. Can you tell me how I can play GTA6 on my PC when it's released next year? How much would it cost to be able to stream it using some kind of XBOX app since it won't be releasing for the PC?
You know the "tech" is there. It is just a console with the input coming from the network, and the output going to a very fast video encoding server. Plus dedicated service will give you faster response and higher quality than your own home-grown solution, if you wanted to stream from anywhere.
10;05 Controller market companies really need to go the way of magnectic sensor components in thumbsticks that are antidrifting design. Like Guilikit with their Zen Pro controllers.
Great video as always,I’ve never wanted wired controllers and I’m happy with the standard ones and don’t think I’d ever buy the elite one I mean the controllers are like £50 so that’s enough at that

As a PC gamer, I personally feel the only draw towards any console is for exclusive games. It's the only reason I have Nintendo and Sony devices. If Xbox is just selling PC games within a walled garden with nothing different to offer, I can't see any point in creating a second library of the same games.
People are getting weird about exclusivity.....YOU CANT ENJOY A GAME UNLESS ITS EXCLUSIVE? yall are weird af lol.Idek what to say.Watching people prepping to switch to LESS SUPERIOR CONSOLE just because PS is getting games WHILE WE ARE ALSO GETTING THEIR GAMES.....Like wow...I cant imagine lol
You spot on. If it was the whole catalog it might be a bigger issue but 4 games isn't a big deal
Totally agree
It’s people stuck in the old thinking who want to see X box do to Sony what Sony did to them. Xbox is looking, smartly I might add, to the future
Exclusives drive more people to buy the console and increases its market share, making it more future-proof.
@@user-2x5s-r5x6you aren't wrong but Xbox's goal isn't to sell consoles anymore their goal is to allow gamers to play anywhere, I can play Xbox games on my phone, my TV, my pc, an Xbox if I had one, and they are adding more support for other devices. Internet is only getting faster pretty much everywhere and streaming games is actually pretty decent these days so I don't see a problem with that. I just don't understand why people are complaining about being able to play games that normally you'd have to buy one console for anywhere you want
I recently got a controller with Hall Effect joysticks and triggers. I feels really good and I mainly got so I don't have to worry about drift anymore.
Exactly. If Microsoft wants to continue being Sony (let alone Nintendo's) whipping boy, let them!
@@FLXTLINE_M3 Thats only true if you don't pay attention to what you're buying. I will NEVER buy another digital game with DRM. I buy from GoG, itch, and the handful of DRM free games on Humble Bundle.
Why are you guys surprised? they've been saying they were going to do this for about 20 years
I sincerely hope xbox continues to make consoles and games. I dont want a Playstation or a Nintendo. I want a Microsoft aligned console to play on. Also I heard the wu Kong wasn't a memory issue but an exclusive deal Sony made. So ..which is it? Corporate greed or Microsoft dropping the ball again?
They will but the consoles from what I heard will be like discount gaming pc
Well the studio said it was because of Xbox series s so I think I would rather believe the studio rather than "rumours"
You are so naive to believe that Sony exclusivity deal crappie lol😂
@@yomamasohot6411 nah it's u that's naive thinking that they won't announce it do u not know how sony and Microsoft work they like bragging about exclusives
@@kingdice7730 Microsoft dosent though
the fire stick gamepass is for casual gamers that are the same ones that would play games on the switch or the wii, yes you can play online multiplayer but you can also drag race a mini van; why would you? your not gonna play anything that requires concern of response time on the fire stick, for that reason there will always be a need for a console.
That is so true 👍..
A channel called Xbox ready talking about Xbox? Crazy!
It hurts people who have xboxs. And gamepass is going down the tube. Microsoft has altered the deal, pray they don't alter it further.
This statement is extremely reductive and completely misses the point of discussing things like this and expressing our opinions
@StolenTheif , discussing things is one thing, but some of you aren't acting like Microsoft hasn't always been a soulless corporation.
online players in pvp will not go cloud. Just adding extra hops for input...
Yooo Ray!! Whats up bro!! NBA 2k drops next week 🔥
Yah the Xbox portal 😂 😂😂
I personally can't do controllers with lights on them. In dark rooms I find myself looking down at the lights annoyed more then concentrating on the game
I’m close to just eating 1000 of dollars and moving to PS5 Pro. Xbox to me is a bad investment now.
Have fun with corny games on PlayStation lol
Am right there with ya
@@DankNG47eventually most Xbox games will be on ps5 so…
just get a pc & play with your controller then wait for Sony to port their games
If the PlayStation controller didn’t suck I would use my PS5. I just love the Elite Controller 2
I use it on my cube and its awsome!
Maked me said today, im not sure ill ever buy a console again...
Maybe just a Pc on my tv screen
To those saying "just go PC" :
1. A good PC rig us super expensive. Way more expensive than. A series x or a ps5 console.
2. We don't want to deal with Windows at all. We want to press a few buttons as possible and play almost instantly.
That is all
From a series x and steam deck user.
@JacobC-i8dLOL tell me you are not a PC gamer without telling me you are not a PC gamer 😅😂
Windows is super simple to get steam. You go on edge, download steam, log in and get your games. That’s like 3 steps
@user-gi1dd2gb6h What about them? All those companies you mentioned do the same on your console. You signing into an account to play their game. You really don’t understand that a console is just a dumbed down launcher.
Its very simple; either have a direct fast ethernet cable or you cant play intense games
It’s pure stupidity. Streaming video games needs to go away. It isn’t good for everyone unless they have a great internet connection. I have fios and even with that it simply isn’t like hardware based games.
Even with the best Internet it's whack
the future is here old man
@@IslamistSocialist371i dont like islam but i like xbox
AYO WHO TAKIN DA BLINKY OFF THE XCART?! 👀
I'm definitely not getting another xBox console. After my seriesX, I'm out. PC and PS moving forward!

I have just sold my series X and cancelled game pass. Hate that you are locked in for life to play online. Pc and steam deck are a good option 👌
@@glenhowardjr.7115 ps are not so consumer friendly either?
I get where people are coming from but at the end of the day cloud gaming is just a taste it’s gonna have problems, when a bunch of people are playing it gets laggy. Not only that your limited to only the games on game pass
Console games will be available on Apple TVs, that’s the future
I think an Xbox Series Stick is a smart move given the direction of console gaming. Most games today are multiplayer and require an internet connection, making the old model of playing offline a thing of the past. However, these smaller, cheaper Xbox Sticks would rely entirely on cloud servers, meaning you lose access to your games if you're offline or the servers go down, reducing true ownership.
Once all games are cloud-based, companies will likely introduce subscription fees for storage, similar to Apple's iCloud. While the initial cost may be lower, we'll end up paying more long-term to access and play games we've already purchased. Gaming could evolve into a lifelong subscription where we're constantly paying just to access what we think we own.
xbox branded carts is crazy
new Samsung tv works perfectly fine was a nice surprise that was a preloaded app and has all the other apps too like NVidia app
I think it's a good idea and knew it would happen sooner or later. We live in a technology driven era so it makes sense.
play all day every day = drift
casual players who only plays 1hr/day: what drift?
no stick drift on the elites, just keep it clean. I usually have my elite about a year before the bumper dies usually its the right one and i get a new controller about every year by garanty
EVERYONE you must never give up your consoles or hard copies do not let these companies control you
Crazy you never get drift.
If Xbox becomes a service, can I install other launchers on Xbox? It'd give them more hardware sales
Can it hit blinkers😂
As a non-gamer who doesn’t own a PC, I got my first console Xbox Series X years ago to play GTA 6. I chose Xbox because it was on sale and I like the hardware. Otherwise I don’t see any reason why first time console buyers would get an Xbox especially if there are no good exclusives. It looks like MS is looking for immediate profit instead of increasing the market share of the Xbox.
maybe should have waited until gta 6 released
@@originalMP3com247 Yeah. I thought the release was imminent. Little did I know that the game would come out at least half a decade later.
Xbox player here and I love FF games. THIS IS GREAT NEWS!
Thanks. Can you tell me how I can play GTA6 on my PC when it's released next year? How much would it cost to be able to stream it using some kind of XBOX app since it won't be releasing for the PC?
I have a Cube and I hoping it will be on this kind of format. Let’s let Xbox make their plan happen
It’s currently on the fire cube gen 3. That’s what I have.

I was pretty surprised when playing with somewhat crappy internet and I was getting a clean visual and little to no input lag
I almost thought you was going to do a whole video without bringing up your wife lol. Ggs
I can’t wait! This is all I’ve been waiting for!!!!
Great video as always,I’ve never wanted wired controllers and I’m happy with the standard ones and don’t think I’d ever buy the elite one I mean the controllers are like £50 so that’s enough at that
My Amazon Firestick 4k Max (2 gen) keeps changing the lip sync when watching movies on Amazon. I hate to think what its like with games
Until now I had no idea you could use the pass on a pad!!
The Xbox Vape 💨
I love final fantasy. I played final fantasy for many years. I have an Xbox now I wish final fantasy 7 remaster came to xbox. It's my favorite game
I bought a 4k max Firestick just to try it,and it works well considering?!?
I love your tshirt, where you get it 😍
Mafia 1 is so good. And a Gondorian flag. Well done.
I’ll deff be purchasing FF 16 when it does come out on Xbox.
Neat... Video Game by subscriptions only... up yours!
You can clearly see the delay on that TV when scrolling through stuff. With that type of delay playing online games wouldn’t be worth it.
I personally use cloud gaming on my tablet, with a 5g connection it's not too bad. Not pc quality, but still doable.
It is supplemental, they are not going to replace physical hardware yet.
I am already a founder for towerborne. Would love to group up when it goes live if you would like. I'm hoping they will open a couple of voice chat channels for us on their discord channel.
Neon White mentioned!!!💯
Towerborn + Couch Co=op = Count Me In! 😊
Xbox and Playstation are going down in sales because PC doesnt require membership to play online plus there are so many sales on video games that happen very often on steam and other apps making pc more affordable in the long run! Plus being able to tab out and surf the internet while playing games is something you cant get with consoles.
This is interesting and all but what I would love to know is how to get that Jujutsu Kaisen wallpaper on ur pc 😅
Hopefully I can find specs for that controller. Because the Elite series 2 paddles are hard for me to push.
Microsoft is building a TON of datacenters. The infrastructure for cloud gaming will only continue to get better
My dumbass thought those are Xbox Vapes before I clicked the video 🤣
I see Xbox is getting into the vape market.
Y'all coming out with CBD pens now dangg 😂🔥
You can already play Xbox games 🎮 on Luna on the firestick so it makes much sense
If it's an option then sure, that's neat... but if it is to remove consoles altogether then I can't but be against it
