It is really strange to see Emma's transformation from a cute indie girl to a dark goth folk goddess, but I'm not complaining
she's already emitting that 'dark' aura even since her 'brighter' days though

I've been wondering what the words were in some parts. Like, I lay back and "sulk" Always sounded like "I lay back in salt" which didn't make sense lol.

Honestly, I think she may say that... I'm still stuck on that part. As for making sense, it could be a Biblical reference to that lonely little town turned to pillars of salt. Not sure. It could also have a more esoteric meaning considering that "salt" is an acronym for "last." It may very well be "I lay back in salt." Either way it's depressing as hell!!! So damned beautiful!!!
I lay back in salt adds deeper meaning also when rubbing salt in one's wounds is considered...
+LastMourning salt is what remains when tears dry... that's how I understand it

Just the other day saw Chelsea Wolfe at Kraken in Stockholm and then I discovered Emma. And then my heart broke when I discovered she played the same venue just weeks prior to Chelsea.
