I'm the family barber now. Been doing taper fades, Mohawk fades and a few other styles. Quarantine wasn't all that bad.

If you grow the swirl / split back area so you can close it with gel or whatever ... for my opinion it look way Much better ....
My bf asked for this hisnnative America but he likes keep the hawk part long it grown about 3 inches id love tonsee a real faded look instead just regular all skin sides n hair on too
A short fade, quite decent finish honestly.
I prefer to fade with 3-4 guards, having a fading phase with each guard. Instead of using the .5 to fade the 1 guard, I'll have my own phase on the .5.
0 guard I'll make 3 adjustments between open and closed.
.5 guard I'll also make 3.
1 guard I'll make 2.
And depending on how long I let the top grow, I might finish it with the 2+.
And also , how do I do that but keeping the length I have on my hair

Yo this is sick. I've got this style right now which I got done at my barbers but I want to maintain it myself as my sides are growing back really fast! Do you have any cheaper clippers that you could recommend as I'm a student and can't afford the expensive ones listed, but when I've gotten ones from the store they have been rubbish. Cheers
Usually anything wahl will do the job. Just make sure whatever clipper you get has a lever on the side of it and also make sure you’re oiling the blades👍

Though I see that most tutorials on Mohawks turn into a slim V shape at the back of the head would I ask for anything different to get a Mohawk but have both sides looking the way it does at 1:10 on both sides of my head as I don’t really like the V pin look at the back? If you know what I mean lmao so it’s like wider at the bottom of the head
