I went to an air show on DMT and it reminded me of this intro. Parked planes seemed to have ripples on them, like they were made of liquid. The control tower looked like it was thousands of feet tall. The runway markings were like moving squiggles. I looked into the cockpit of an F-15E and it looked like the gauges were all spinning rapidly, while the LCD panels displayed fractal patterns. An A-10 dropped flares and they appeared to fall in slow motion. Fun times.

lol this is the PS1 game grue up with. i'm playing now Ace combat 6 and i take my mind back to these good old memories and i[m like "aahhhhhh these where the days, the last days of videogaming where something wasnt just a cheap copy of 2-3 thigs combined to make a "new" game :D"
So in the UK i had ac3 because i liked the box art and wanted to dive into a jet game, looked exciting at the time (born '88). I felt it was a 7/10 game at the time and saw box art inside for ac4, i thought there was no story so wasn't interested.... because they cut the international version i didn't pursue an amazing series till ac7 came out and i went and bought and replayed all the games. I'm absolutely devastated that they had cut the international version down or that i didnt actually go and buy ac4 as i felt like i missed out on sooo much. Even the international version of ac3 had a great theme to it and was namco's 90's 'future tech' style game along side the ridge racer series. Beats cyberpunk crap any day of the week imo. Can't wait for AC8!

This intro is SO BADASS!!! They gave a better intro than the jp version that looks like the game will be better, but NO, all the storyline is GONE! :( This game needs to be remade with better graphics, but every same soundtracks, sound effects and cutscenes!

hey guys I'm back after 8 years wow. Tbh I forgot which was my AC3 intro, since AC3 was in my childhood with my dad's PS1, and currently I'm deep into AC5, ACZero, and AC7. I'm looking back at AC3 and God I believe we will be needing a remake of the Japanese AC3 but in English and with graphics like AC7. It sure would blew up my dad's mind as well since he's the one who introduced me to the game as well. I'll be honest, The Ghost of Kyiv brought me back to the AC games once again, much prayers for the current Russian-Ukraine conflict.
Maybe, but you lose a rich story, and instead of 48 missions on 2 discs, you get a mere 36 on just one. Having played both the International and the Japanese release, I still think the the original one is superior.
