Hello, this alternative history begins with the absence of Islam, and of course other changes occur afterwards, like a much reduced colonialism by europeans and other little changes. Some parts of the history are pretty similar if not the same, but culturally the differences would be enormous.
The video has no polytical visions, it's just a video on alternative history, DON’T dislike it if you find the idea of a world without Islam repelling, and DON’T share hateful comments against the muslim world. Instead appreciate the work and time needed to make such a video.
Notes:
- only middle eastern countries or countries under the control of middle eastern countries are considered, exceptions are: mongol empire, european colonial powers.
- I tried to stick to the same colour for the same country/area
- countries in white are opposing families/emerging dynasties
- some names of ruling families has been changes in order to emphasize the change in linguistic terms, like many persian dynasties
Imagine a world probably without arabic numerals, where Farsi is written in his own script and where maybe turkish people and greek people share the same religion, what a strange world it would be!
wait but then why does the ottoman empire still have the islam symbol?
Well it was a symbol used by the byzantines before being adopted by the ottomans and as a symbol for Islam, so I thought maybe the turkish will still use it. But mostly there’s just not another flag for Turkey that I know of, and I am lazy enough so I didn’t make up my own.
nice
Love from Iran/Persia ❤🦁👑
The map contains some errors that I hope to avoid in the future. Assyria is located in Upper Mesopotamia, not south and central Kurdistan. It is located in western Iran. If Islam had not come, the Kurds would not have expanded in Upper Mesopotamia. The homeland of Assyria in central and southern Iraq should be replaced with Babylon.
Oh but it is not assyria, “asoristan” was part of persia before the islamic conquest, in my idea the area remaining in iran for a long time would take that name for most mesopotamia, so also Meshan. About the kurds I don’t know, why they wouldn’t migrate, do you have any source?
@@sosorri5660 There is a map of the Roman Empire when it controlled Mesopotamia for a period, and also a map of the Assyrian state that was presented at the Paris Conference in 1919, although it is not 100% accurate.
I guess this isn’t if Islam didn’t exist this more like Islam existed just didn’t spread out much through the world
Gotta admit, definitely got story here
In my opinion without Islam the Persians and Romans will continue to exist maybe until today
The Persian still exist until today
The Kurds occupied these areas in the twentieth century after the massacres of Seifu and Kifnu, not BC
If Islam didn’t exist I don’t think the pan Arab flag would exist to I think instead the Arab kingdom would have a different flag
Interesting 🤔
It's same just te religion is different
