@@DarkLordFromTheSecondAge Honestly, I thought Pinwheel was a pretty good/interesting boss, just trivially easy, and the Witches were a bit forgettable. Mist Noble checks off both of these criteria lol
11:15 I don't think the violins in souls games are ever synthethic, Yuka Kitamura is recording all the singing and violin parts herself, from what I know, which is pretty amazing. Those two layers are often the most prominent in her compositions which makes sense.
This boss didn't deserve such a banger OST tbh. I'd advice you listen to Halflight, spear of the church, probably one of the most underrated in the series.
Yeah, for such a crap fight, Spear of the Church has an awesome theme. It's not my least favorite boss fight (Sister Friede has that honor. I honestly hate that fight), but it's pretty far down the list.
@@SolaScientia I spent a lot of time sitting in front of the church waiting to invade others as a Spear, I always do when I play through DS3. It feels awesome to have that theme play for yourself.
Kinda off topic, but at 12:30 there is dog. And, in very Soul-like fashion, dog just rises from the depths of the Marco, like a second phase of a boss. Scratch that, it's super on-topic because dogs are always relevant.
Since dlc music is not usually officially released alongside the dlc itself(unlike main game), youtube channels usually have to improvise phase transitions(and for some reason they replay each phase music twice) but in official releases there isn't repetition and the transitions are nicer
Always loved the 2nd Phase music. It really gives the feeling of a dead winter storm and it gives a pretty easy ride to imagine a literal winter-like apocalypse.
I’m so happy to see this song, it’s one of my personal favorites. The howl in the background of the second phase gives chills. I’m glad it’s finally getting more recognition.
YES FINALLY IVE BEEN REQUESTING THIS FOR SO LONG on a less hyped note. It is, in my opinion, is the 2nd most underrated boss and in my top 5 boss theme for dark souls 3. It was used to give the undead arenas a little more lore which, more lore in dark souls is always good in my book.
I love that when the music for phase 2 kicks in (the point where the Greatwolf appears in the battle) ... your doggo appears on screen! Perfect timing! Haha ^u^
I’m just gonna put up a list of a few from software themes I feel should have a bit more attention Demon’s souls ost (old compare to new): -Flame lurker - penetrator - tower knight - storm king Dark souls 1 - gaping dragon - magus father of the abyss - kalamet the black dragon Dark souls 2 - the rotten - executioners chariot - Fume knight dark souls 3 - demon prince Sekiro - demon of hatred

Marco i was seeing your video about scaramouche theme and i realized that you love when the organ plays in a soundtrack so i recommend you a final boss battle theme, it's not that popular the saga but that theme is the heroes against the two sided deity, the creator and the destructor the song is called fallen blood and its make it for my favorite compositor, i bet you will love it
If you take suggestions for next music track you could listen, I highly recommend checking Path of Exile, starting with the boss theme of Searing Exarch. The Cleansing Fire
On that note, the Elder and Orion are both amazing and temathically connected. The most fun part for me is hearing the Atlas theme in every soundtrack.
Lore: Long ago, an Undead declared a tournament in which their fellow cursed souls would battle to the repeated death, with their worth being measured in deaths. This was seen as a gift to the Undead, who go hollow without a purpose, and a fight with no end was considered by some to be a glorious use of their immortality. The Champion of the Undead Match eventually went mad, and at some point died. As they had stayed with him in life, the young fighter training under the champion and a large wolf stayed to protect the sanctity of his grave and were eventually drawn into the Painted World of Ariandel, where they utilized frost sorceries to continue their task.
I don't blame you for forgetting about Champions Gravetender, I will admit it was a rather forgettable fight... but his theme is one of my favorite fromsoft themes. They really went hard on his theme!
I don't know why, but I always loved this song, but have associated the exciting portion of it as me dying. I've not been hard walled by this boss, but I swear bits and pieces happen in other songs. For whatever reason I associate it with Twin Princes, but I know it's not the same song.
I'm curious what you'd think about the soundtrack of path of exile (any theme (the various towns, some bosses (dominus, malachai and avarius for example) or some areas like the templar courts))
I love the theme, but, as others have said, they didn't have to go so hard for an optional, not very great boss. I think FromSoftware knew people would be thinking of Sif from DS1 when fighting a giant wolf again. Dodging the wolf's rapid back and forth lunging attacks can be tough since I think the wolf is fast enough to break lock-on with it, sometimes.
There was a video I was watching just the other day I wish I could remember the name off but it escapes me. It wasn't even a musical themed channel or anything, it was some some dude making a point why boss fights in video games always seem to have these grandiose epic soundtracks so he showed footage of a boss fight with the music playing, then afterwords showed video of the same boss with the volume turned off and it was like a night and day difference on just watching the fight play out. With the music it was epic and crazy, without the music it was kinda slow and boring.
You should look into the demon souls when you get the chance preferably garl Vinland theme. Very powerful hes a boss in the game but in fact your the boss to him trying to and eventually killing him.
Nice video btw underrated theme but a couple other soulsborne themes I recommend u to listen to if you haven’t already is Alderich ost, Isshin the sword saint, and burnt ivory king also Odin’s theme from Ff16 even tho I said soulsborne but another good theme
Why are there so little views on this?!?!?, why can’t I find it on your channel ?? , why cant I remember it being recommended to meeee??? YOOOUUUTOOOUUUUB!!!??!?!??😭😡
Its about time champion's gravetender ost gets the recognition it deserves, despite being an ok boss. This goes harder that Sister Friede imo.
Yeaaah absolutely
Fromsoft try not to give mediocre/hidden bosses the hardest themes challenge (impossible)

Yuka Kitamura, scream in my ears with that soprano voice you have!!!

Bro...so true
I love how Luna (Marco's dog) appear in this video, as if she knows the OST has dogs in it. All hail the good boi
I think this is one of the more underrated songs from the Fromsoft repertoire. Glad you reacted to it!
@baraovermelho3956 I agree.
Yeah, the boss is kind of boring, but the song is amazing (personaly).
@baraovermelho3956 Boss is fine. Uninspired, but highly enjoyable mechanically.
@baraovermelho3956 The wolf remains an extremely well designed and absolutely masterful enemy, mechanically and visually.
@baraovermelho3956 he drops an awesome weapon, one of the most (if not the most) unique in DS3

I love how crazy the violin goes in phase 2 lol. Main reason I adore this song, sounds like a fast paced duel between two friends.
That very happy dog would have a phase 2 with a huge dramatic music shift into an epic/depressing theme, it is Dark Souls after all.

Yoooo I was gonna suggest this song in the survey you posted now i gotta choose again but this is am absolute win
Best song from the third game and it's for a boss some people never even end up finding
0:47 there’s only happy songs in Dark Souls 1. Firelink Shrine and Gwyneveres bed chamber songs are nice and happy.
As another person said it encapsulates the feeling of a cold dark winter.
Due to the boss beeing a kinda weak one the Ost is absolutely underrated.
Man that female voice. Love it

Let’s go more dark souls. you should analyze demon prince from dark souls 3, certified banger (like every thing else)
