Love the content bro! Your Challenger budget build tutorials are saving me so much prep time with the top end rebuild I'm working on. I appreciate you sharing your experience. ✌
I wish the supercharger was a little louder, but it's definitely cool. I'm getting pretty close to starting on the bike build with your bike as the base, I think you'll be pretty excited about this one 👍
Great work. I love seeing these, especially with the Magnums. For what it's worth, coming from someone who builds these cars for a living, data log while on the dyno or any WOT pull that you do so that your tuner can make adjustments while you are on the dyno. Make every WOT count during the tuning stage. Great work!! This is a very cool build.
YES! Definitely would love to see more content on this absolute beast! I'm on my second Magnum, and watching your videos has been great. Learning more each time, and it certainly gives me ideas and hope for my 6.1 =]
Very cool, glad to see you back in here today! This car will haul some serious butt once you get launches, etc. dialed in. Maybe a limited slip diff with a snappier ratio will help, and use the tires accordingly! Spinnin' ain't winnin'! Yes, we want to see more on this rig's progress. An excellent start, keep us posted on this project, and thank you for a cool video!
Yes I would enjoy to see where the Magnum goes, maybe some deeper gears might work. Keep going where your going. You inspire me to do some mods for my 2014 300c. THANKS
Definitely want some different gears, but it looks like the companies that made gears for this thing stopped making them. I'm still looking for a set somewhere!
Was going to recommend a converter until you got to that on the video. Makes a difference with a cam a turbo setup. Please to more video of the progress. Would love to see the progress.
@@ReignitedAuto I love it as well. Unfortunately my wife had a small accident with it about one and a half years ago. The body shop I went to had to remove the nose and repaint it. In that process the body shop lost the driver side air duct to the brakes. Of course the part is not made anymore so it's discontinued. It's a shame because I have kept every single stock part to this car since I bought it right off the showroom floor with less than 10 miles on it. I have the original tires and rims sitting in my garage. I've have the original airbox and air filter. I removed items that would wear quickly such as the shifter itself and the buttons on the dash that lets you turn on/ off the traction control. The car has over 200,000 mi on it but it literally looks no more than 15 to 20 days out of the showroom. My kids grew up in the car (granted never let them eat in it or wear their shoes in it messing up the back of the front seats). Sometime soon I'm going to put a remote turbo kit on it. That way it can be taken off and the car returned to stock very easily. I've been looking for a long time for the front brake air duct for the driver's side. If you know how I can get my hands on one please let me know. I have been searching everywhere to include eBay, Facebook, and online parts. I would really be indebted to you if you have a connection to get this part.
That torque is incredible! I can't imagine how many rear tires you're going to go through. 😂 What a great wagon you have! (I'm so mad a Dodge for not making these all the way through 2023.)
Always love to see any content at all from you Sky. I do have a few suggestions, which are admittedly from my couch and not on the ground running. Nevertheless a brain dump for you. 1. I think to put to bed the idea about the supercharger being a limiting factor, I would weld in a second map sensor (Or just run two boost gauges if that works) and see if the supercharger is adding any boost. That would be a really easy way to decide if it has to do with exhaust backpressure, a wastegate, boost controller, etc. Because you are not using the A/C system, you might be able to work with your tuner and use the AC pressure input to the ECU and use that to log. HP Tuners has some maths functions which I believe can help with that. 2. I don't know very much about the NAG transmissions, but I'm guessing they have a turbine speed vs output shaft speed. You could use that to see if you are slipping (More than expected mind you, not sure if your new convertor is a full lockup or not). 3. Because the car is fairly heavy, I would throw some gear in the back, but no matter what, I would use an electronic boost controller. Using that, you could dial in boost so that you don't have to pedal it out of the box. You might consider using a smaller wheel so you can run a fatter sidewall also. It was hard for me to tell because of the black wheels, but it seemed like those rear wheels were still 18's or something. Granted, I don't know how small wheel you can go with the factory discs in the back on a Magnum. No matter what though, both on the dyno and for the most part on the track, it is a bracket racer's dream. It is insanely consistent, and that is worth more than a car that does awesome on one run and then is down 100HP on the next. I do hope you continue to show us updates on this. And I absolutely love the C10, so if you do decide to put a supercharger on that, I'd love to see it. Plus, I would love to see how the AR15 transmission holds up since I'm going to be running one behind a turbo LS myself...
Always appreciate your insights my man, definitely looking to dial this thing in a little more. The AR5 in the C10 has been awesome, no issues whatsoever and I drive it pretty hard!
Such an amazing build! Been enjoying your videos for quite some time and it’s sad to not getting that notification anymore😢 But hey, go learn that guitar and when you’re done with the Magnum, just send it to me in Sweden😉
Excellent video and content. It’s great that you are keeping us updated on the Magnum build. I would love to see if you could do a series on the SST Hurricane in the ‘25 Ram. I had a 4th gen Hemi Ram for several years and loved it. Though I recently sold it and bought the latest Hurricane Ram. Many of us that owns the Ram SST Hurricane all are having misfire codes early. It would be awesome if you could gather some information and do a series on the Ram Hurricane and why we are all having these misfire codes.
I'm VERY interested in seeing how these Hurricane engines are performing long term. I haven't seen the misfire issue yet, I'll have to do some research on that one. Primarily what we've seen is thermostat failures on the standard output engines.
I know you are not really promoting the you tube channel any more but I for one would really like to see what you do with this car further. Definitely interested in the boost controller change result and the torque converter. Would love to see a video of the redwood trip. Even if it takes 6 months to get it out or if it's a rough quality.
Was glad to see the new video and surprised. I’m starting to work on my 2014 challenger R/T M6. Still haven’t installed the long tubes, I’m planning on stage 3 Texas speed cam and well the bug bit me and I’m looking at a super charger. I decided on the Edelbrock E-Force as for me I feel that is the best option. Not sure if it’s available to you but I run non ethanol gas in my challenger as it sits for periods and with no ethanol it won’t attract water. The Burnet dealership who does my maintenance is surprised how clean my oil is. So I think burning non ethanol does something. The tuner I’m going with is High PSI out of Harker Heights
Tips, New Drag radials need a good heat cycle, 5-10 second burnout first use to work right also lower tire pressure should help or bigger sidewall tire, 15- 18 inch rim over a 20in
I'm just wondering why you choked off that big turbo with an Eaton M112...? 🤔 Less than 600 whp with both a turbo and a blower is pretty weak for a 6.4L Hemi.
Good to see it "finished". That old Cobra blower is probably also holding you back a little. Its not a very big supercharger to begin with. They're fairly cheap because people always move up to a bigger blower. After all, the 03/04 Cobra came with forged rods and pistons from the factory... My 2006 300C made 411HP/418TQ and ran a pathetic 14.0 at the strip because it was on the stock converter, and I was rusty. So I'm going to just suggest a converter and more seat time. If you want to get rid of the belt slip and make more power, just get a hellcat blower and use that kit.
Dude this video is SO good. I love seeing the completed build. Hopefully I can see it in person one of these days. You have any plans on building another bike? I know you so I know NOT having another project is basically impossible. Oh btw watching this on my TV and the sound of your exhaust was making the bass rumble so intensely i could feel it rumbling my feet
The hood will be the death of me, absolutely cannot figure out how to make it look good. All the aftermarket hoods are higher at the back than the front, which is the opposite of what I need. The idea machine rolls on...
Think that cfr blower kit would fit my jeep 3.8L? 😅 Maybe this is my sign to 6.4 swap my jeep. It's so exciting to see your project working well and it looks like a BLAST to drive 😁 congrats my friend!
As far as the lack of power at the launch is concerned - it could be all in the tune ( lack of timing down low will kill the launch ) With the power numbers you should be knocking the tires off at the launch especially on poor track prep
THE BOOST CONTROLLER ISSUE CONNECT THE REFERENCE PSI DIRECTLY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE WG AND ANOTHER ONE TO THE CONTROLLER AND USE THE CONTROLLER ON THE TOP SIDE OF THE WG WITH A TEE TO LET IT BLEED/BREATH BUT IF YOUR CONTROLLER ALREADY CAME WITH A BLEED ORIFICE THEN YOU DONT NEED THE TEE. THATS HOW I GOT IT ON MY BOOSTED RAM FOR NOW. IT WORK LIKE A 3 PORT MAC VALVE. BY THE WAY IM SURPRISED YOU DID'NT GIVE UP ON THAT BUILD I BET IT WAS SWEET AND SOUR BUT IS FINALLY OUT. GOOD JOB !!!
The Magnum is sweet it’s cool to see it up and ripping I remember the struggle to get it there I would love to inter the giveaway but I have pre eagle hemi but good luck the kit is sick I’ve always wanted a hc blower on a 5.7 I’ve seen it done and it’s so cool
So great to see this update. I was literally just thinking about this last night when we were driving home from the Ogden area. I remembered that the Redwood Rally was upcoming and wondering if you were making good progress on getting the Magnum ready. Perfect update at the perfect time. It looks like you have your power on track with what you were hoping for. I would imagine the torque converter helped a lot in getting that power to the ground. I am sure YOU will get the launch figured out and do great at the track! If you do get some video of the progress of testing with the new converter, I would absolutely watch that, otherwise I will wait to see all the video from the Rally. As always, I am happy to see that you are doing well and wish the best to you going forward. Also, how is the Neon doing? Still using it daily to and from work, or have you been driving the Magnum. 👊
Stab it, make it go, do a pull, take it to a show! Cool build! Thanks for taking us to the dragstrip! No Transbreak or seat delete?
I was looking into a trans-brake. There is one company that makes one for the NAG trans: $2500 😬It's a little steep for me currently!
Love the content bro! Your Challenger budget build tutorials are saving me so much prep time with the top end rebuild I'm working on. I appreciate you sharing your experience. ✌
Man that set up is beautiful. Congratulations Mr hemi King 🤴 👏
I appreciate that, thank you! 👊
thanks for coming through on the next video. this car is sick bro one of the coolest rides out there. was stoked to see the upload.
Couldn't leave you guys hanging! 👊
Love the whine of the supercharger turbo combo!
I wish the supercharger was a little louder, but it's definitely cool. I'm getting pretty close to starting on the bike build with your bike as the base, I think you'll be pretty excited about this one 👍
@@ReignitedAuto nice it’s been a while since your last bike build another fun challenge 😀
So glad for the update and I would really like seeing more of them.
Thanks for watching!
The legend is back 🙏🏽
I think you got Junkyard Dave beat with this one here. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
I cannot lie, his car is absolutely incredible! but mine is still fun, appreciate you watching!
YES! Definitely would love to see more content on this absolute beast! I'm on my second Magnum, and watching your videos has been great. Learning more each time, and it certainly gives me ideas and hope for my 6.1 =]
Love hearing it!
That was awesome. Thanks for updating
Appreciate you watching!
Appreciate you watching as always my man!
@@ReignitedAuto I'm thinking about a 3.06:1 rear diff from a charger or challenger, in reality I would like 3.21:1.
Thank you for the update. Looking and sounding good.
Not totally dialed, but feels like I'm actually making progress this time!
Was going to recommend a converter until you got to that on the video. Makes a difference with a cam a turbo setup. Please to more video of the progress. Would love to see the progress.
Definitely looking forward to the rally to see improvements!
Hell yeah I want to see progression!!!!
New subscriber, awesome information! Loved the video and am binge watching the others! 👍
Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
With drive train loss. That's probably over 700 at the crank. I think it's a beast. It's plenty of power for street car. Time to enjoy it!
Well done my friend
👊
I absolutely love your rims. I have a 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8 in brilliant silver metallic
Thanks, I'm really happy with this set versus the last set I had on there. I really like the SRT8 front bumper!
44:00 I sent you an email with some helpful suggestions, can't wait to see this car running at it's full potential!
I am finishing my 05 Magnum R/T AWD this weekend!! Can't wait to get it on the road!! (It is factory awd)
Sweet! I had an AWD '05 300C- very smooth car!
@@ReignitedAuto my first magnum so we’ll see!!
That torque is incredible! I can't imagine how many rear tires you're going to go through. 😂 What a great wagon you have! (I'm so mad a Dodge for not making these all the way through 2023.)
I had to do the obligatory burnout, but all I can think about is how expensive the tires are 😂
Always love to see any content at all from you Sky.
Been enjoying your videos for quite some time and it’s sad to not getting that notification anymore😢
But hey, go learn that guitar and when you’re done with the Magnum, just send it to me in Sweden😉
It would be great to see additional videos while you are still vine tuning to see what the end result is. These videos are great.
Appreciate it!
Great work 👏
Thanks for watching!
I know you are not really promoting the you tube channel any more but I for one would really like to see what you do with this car further. Definitely interested in the boost controller change result and the torque converter. Would love to see a video of the redwood trip. Even if it takes 6 months to get it out or if it's a rough quality.
Appreciate it! Redwood Rally is two weeks from now, so probably expect to see a video a week or two after that.
Should be a sweet build! I miss my manual Challenger 😕
Supercharged and turbo charge you a beast
"Buy a whipple".... I feel attacked. See you in a few weeks brother!
😂 Can we all agree though that the Whipple lid looks absolutely incredible? 👍
Another comment. Hellion twin turbo kit is a very nice way to add power without belt issues. That what I run on my 05 dodge magnum.
That's a sweet kit!
Rear end upgrade: 3.06 Getrag/axles, drag radials, 2 step. Only if you are chasing a number at the track.
I would love to see its full potential
👊
Tips, New Drag radials need a good heat cycle, 5-10 second burnout first use to work right also lower tire pressure should help or bigger sidewall tire, 15- 18 inch rim over a 20in
I'm just wondering why you choked off that big turbo with an Eaton M112...? 🤔 Less than 600 whp with both a turbo and a blower is pretty weak for a 6.4L Hemi.
I feel like I explained this pretty good in the video, did you watch the whole thing?
Good to see it "finished". That old Cobra blower is probably also holding you back a little. Its not a very big supercharger to begin with. They're fairly cheap because people always move up to a bigger blower. After all, the 03/04 Cobra came with forged rods and pistons from the factory...
My 2006 300C made 411HP/418TQ and ran a pathetic 14.0 at the strip because it was on the stock converter, and I was rusty.
So I'm going to just suggest a converter and more seat time. If you want to get rid of the belt slip and make more power, just get a hellcat blower and use that kit.
Appreciate it my man! Looking forward to seeing what this new converter will do for me!
Okay, looks like the car continues to be the project 😅
You do know me well 😄 I'm doing a ground up motorcycle bagger build this winter. 👍
I think a custom hood with a cowl induction shape would really look super sharp on that ride.
The hood will be the death of me, absolutely cannot figure out how to make it look good. All the aftermarket hoods are higher at the back than the front, which is the opposite of what I need. The idea machine rolls on...
@@ReignitedAuto look up late 60's GM cowl induction hoods for inspiration. I'm sure you can fab the cowl scoop up yourself.
Think that cfr blower kit would fit my jeep 3.8L? 😅 Maybe this is my sign to 6.4 swap my jeep.
It's so exciting to see your project working well and it looks like a BLAST to drive 😁 congrats my friend!
Everything fits with enough time/money, my car is exhibit "A" 😄
Now that's a grocery getter! 👍
Milk gets warm quick, gotta get home even quicker! 😄
As far as the lack of power at the launch is concerned - it could be all in the tune ( lack of timing down low will kill the launch )
With the power numbers you should be knocking the tires off at the launch especially on poor track prep
The new torque converter seems to be helping quite a bit, just getting some more RPM to help the car leave.
Glad to see you finally got the bugs worked out, does this mean we will be getting more content from you ???
I'm thinking I'll probably put out a video covering the Redwood Rally next month, but other than that I have no plans.
It's awesome that solutions like that are out there now!
Great video
Thanks for watching!
Hopefully you haven't gotten any tickets doing that either way.... LOL.
Appreciate it my friend! The SRT4 has been my commuter vehicle for awhile now, amazing I have not gotten pulled over in it yet 😅
