thats the best use of under the stairs space I have seen I wish I did that when I had a place with that kind of closet.
Tip on LEGOS do the same concept you did on the puzzles for the legos all the guys in one bag, all the trees and out side stuff in another, buildings in another, and most of all if there is a lego set like star wars keep it all in one bag together right after it is opened and label the bags too thats how my family does it and I have younger brothers so they have a lot more legos

When Pam Young and Peggy Jones "The Slob Sisters" got organized in 1977, they used a rotating file instead of "post it notes" to keep track of everything. One idea they had was to put a number on a puzzle and then number each piece with the same number so if a piece was left around the house you could tell what puzzle it came from.

Great video! Love do it on a dime too! Also love how it turned out. Those see through shoe boxes are a favorite of mine to corral stuff. I have just recently joined Tidy Tudor University. There are free videos of hers on you tube. Definitely good for people who are a messy mom like me. You are pretty darn organized to begin with Christine. Your home is always so beautiful! But maybe it could help some one who is out there struggling. I watch a lot of declutter you tube's and organizing ones and minamalisim ones to motivate me. I have even watched yours before I knew about your debt free journey goodness. And I love that lazy Susan caddy!!!! Glad it was on sale. :-)

I do the same with puzzles. I also put what the puzzle is on the back. Animal Kingdom (AK), Princess (PR), Tinker Bell (TB), ext. Just in case some get mixed up.

22angd A grandparent bought them years ago and they have grown so well with the girls. It takes a little more to keep them clean and organized but totally worth it!
The office is what I need help organizing. Papers papers papers. Ugh. Lol
Madison Bogart Ah yes the office! My favorite item to tame the paper are those accordion file thingy's from the dollar spot at Target. I LOVE THEM!
As far as fitness progress, I started running again three weeks ago. I've been dealing with shin splints, but otherwise I LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to get out of the house again! Up to 2.5 miles (interval training with C25K), and I threw in a 30 day squat routine just to see if I could do it as well. I did 100 today! Only 9 days in! If only I get organized just as fast ;)

Thank you! YOU inspired me!!! I went back and watched a bunch of your older videos last week, and your weight loss video did it for me! I'm up to 155 squats now, and running 1.5 miles without stopping. Shin splints are much better, and now I have a few 5Ks on the calendar! Thank YOU!

Oh my goodness how do you always know what we need to tackle. The Easter Holidays are starting here in the UK, so two weeks of work for me and the children and we have "the room of doom" we moved into this house 10 years ago and really stretched our budget so we would have another living area downstairs and I'm ashamed to say it has been an unusable room for far tooooooooo long. Your video has inspired me and I'm going to get chucking/donating and selling. Keep your videos coming :-)

I've been reorganising and de cluttering my house since the 1st January! I've thrown out bags and bags of junk! Your toy closet looks a lot like how I store my daughters stuff :) by the way, we store her Legos in ziplock bags just like the puzzles! Each Lego set has its own bag and the instructions go in too :)
Jen Thompson Oh if I had only realized that that would have been a great way to store the legos before I threw them in one bin!!! Doesn't it feel good to purge and be organized? The thought of it just makes me happy!
You've done a great job on that closet! I wish I had a space like that, you think it's tiny but it's larger than all five of the closets in my house combined! LOL... but I must learn to be content with what I have, we're debt free including the house so a paid for addition is in the works!

My daughter is 35 and I STILL have many of her childhood works, toys, etc!! I keep thinking she'll want it someday. She tells me no. I says yes. It's what we do as Mom's! lol

super cute!! i am moving in a few months and have starting cleaning/organizing our stuff as well.. i know from past moving experience i usually pack and get rid of stuff as i move and it is totally stressful! The last day i usually just start throwing stuff away not wanting to deal with it! so this time i am doing it in advance! lol I am still taking my plexus vitamins and feel awesome! getting healthy and now taking work out classes with my son!

Its a lot of work as a single working parent but it actually feels very freeing to get rid of stuff! lol now if i could just stick with having my planned yard sale and not end up thinking its too much work and giving it all to good will i might benefit from making a few hundred dollars extra! pray i can finally do a yard sale before this summer!

My mom taught me to label the back of puzzles. Like putting a d on each piece of a Dora the explorer puzzle incase a few get mixed up.

Why would have 1 bucket of toys , and still get rid of more? Kids need toys for development and motor skills etc. maby you should have less Modge podge and more toy bins for your 3 kids.
