From what I experienced it looks the same but as you play longer you will notice some big difference. The crashes are far more random (not like 2022 where every driver locked up in the same corner), for example drivers now also spin more realistic feels less boring also. The overtaking has improved a bit, unfortunately I believe jarno didn't use it but you can enable ers assist so the driver uses more energy when trying to overtake, with the aggressive overtake strategy overtaking has become a bit easier. Also the AI drivers push harder on tyres, leading in more deg then my own drivers . car development also improved with the weight that you can change for each car part, and the AI teams using that differently (from my time playing all the teams only lowered the KG on the car and 0 teams stayed on the standard 20KG except for myself. I believe its way more of the challenge this year then the 2022 game, where I already got podiums and wins in my first season with alfa, and Bottas becoming world champion in 2023 season😂. But I only played half a season so far with aston martin this game. Also the pitcrew has improved very good you can finally make them really good, so thats nice. Yes I think there still needs a lot to be improved in the game but its nice to see some improvements already! Sorry for my bad English im a little high. Have a great evening 🙌🏻✌🏻
On top of what PayToWin02 said, yeah racing now feels more engaging and the AI actually trying and doing different calls (both in terms of strategies and the racing itself) means that you do have to focus on what you're doing. And the whole confidence mechanic can be very punishing if you don't manage it correctly, so strategy, both macro and micro management, can have a noticeable impact in your driver's pace through the race (I won't go into details in case you decide to play the game as spoiler free as possible). Other stuff that I noticed is that car performance is way more important on this game. On 22 I noticed that if you hire Gasly, Bottas, Lando, or whatever "tier 2" driver, on a mid field car, it was enough to farm podiums and even get some early championships (at least driver's championship). But on 23 if you have the worst car, not even Bottas (87 rating) will make THAT much of a difference, as you can see on this race he's only ahead of Piastri and De Vries. Adding to the development part, the economy of keeping the car running has been tweaked quite a lot, now you actually have to pay attention to how much money you have and spend it wisely. If you start upgrading everything, the way it was possible in 22, you will be struggling even before starting ATR 3 (I'm still on my first season obviously, so I can't know if it stays the same the longer you keep playing). And the last thing worth considering IMO is rain. In 22 even the lightest of all the light rains was enough to damp the track in around a lap, lap and a half, and it stayed damp until it stopped raining, so it was pretty easy to know when to switch from one tire to the other. Now it's not as black and white. In races with only light rain, it takes longer for the track to get to damp conditions, and it hasn't happened to me yet, but I'm sure with a VERY light rain no longer than 5 minutes, it is possible for the track to stay below 1mm of water on track. All of this means that the window in which you can switch from slicks to inters (or the other way around) is quite big, and both track and air temperature play a role on which tire works best in between changing conditions. I've had a race where inters and slicks where pretty equal during "dry" track conditions, so it was a very close call to decide between staying on slicks or switching to inters, and it was hard to use the AI as a benchmark because they were drivers doing both strategies (some staying on slicks and some pitting for inters), so it actually feels like a gamble in those races where it only rains for some minutes mid race.
Your tyres are too cold for optimal performance , try to keep them in the white range (depending on the C number it changes) ~ C5 85-105c) C4 90-110c etc)
This is gonna be a long season
We will finish P3 trust
@@jarnoopmore P2 possible once helipad is maxed out

Jarno is cooking in f1 manager as well as f1 PSGL and WOR. He's also gonna cook in eSports and win
7:45 I thought he would say we need the money for the Helipad XD
Jarno: *Chooses Haas*
Haas: *Doesnt cook in the race*
Jarno: :O
"Ready for some good food "
Boys… We’re not gonna win the champions league😔
Fraudo Steinmeer at it again.
Let's cook.
Do 2 flying laps in qualy, it will give you a massive S1 improvment as tyres are not hot enough there
^ 2 flying laps no cooldown.. easy 6 tenths in sector 1 alone
Enjoy watching this series more than playing the game
Exactly why I can't get the game myself
"why we aren't cooking in the race again" -steiner in the whole season
Logan Sargeant 🇺🇸
Jarno cooking as usual with the content! Keep up the great work man, I'm really loving the F1 manager series.
18:50 always defend - is last years block cars behind you .( which means you slow down a lot)
Sending your drivers for 2 push laps in a row without cooldown could gain you up to 5 tenths depending on the track
Jarno Cookmer with another banger!
Jarno keep up the great vids. You make me jump out of my chair once I see a video uploaded
No way you put my terrible Joke in the Video thank You
Mega nice video as always love your work maan
I would like to know what exactly has been improved. Just watching it looks like they only changed the overall design a bit.

Bro next quali try doing 2 push laps in the same run.
Because in the 1st one they don’t warm up the tires correctly.
If you Want to go quikker in quali do 2 runs in 1 go
Logan and Latifi in Haas with both of them fighting for the championship. The most ideal American Dream. RRAAAGHHHH
Bro cooks tires
you can make a drive to survive season out of this
🔥
Please sign Vettel during the summer break 🙏
Always go for two push laps in a row
Jarno, enable the ERS Battle Assist for overtake faster
There’s also a button you can toggle so they are super aggressive at every chance.
oh yeahhh boyyy
Overheating tyres does not make you slow in this game, you can push the tyres much much harder
K-Mag cooked the car too much this race, who let him in the kitchen xD ?
Magnussen is gonna be out before the summer break lmao
Where is the last vid of your Flopmeer Academy? In Abu Dhabi?
TIP jarno, use ers battle assist very useful for the whole race really
1:13 Jarno’s 185cm?
There’s definitely a bias towards user cars crashing. Sainz has crashed in my first four races and I have zero engines left
🙋🙋
Jarno is grounding, not normal
How do u turn left on a right hander 😂😂😂
I always get crashes in races no matter what it’s crazy
petition for unlimited helipad upgrades

tyre wear doesnt matter
Would get this game but its basically last years game with updates that should have come to it instead of a new game....
Day 3 of asking Jarno to sign Verstappen
