In the first 5 laps the AI uses everything in there battery and they absolutly cook there tyres. That´s why the AI always has worse tyre wear in the first stint and that´s why they are so fast in the beginning of the race. Also with the new confidence system it´s better to do a two stop because getting passed ruins confidence. And that can mean up to a 7/8 point difference in performance statistics on cornering, braking and accuarcy which are important stats.
mate when you design a new car part, then put the expected lifetime to lowest possible, it gives you so much more cornering. no joke, its a heavy boost
Hey Jarno, just found out if you put the driver's tactics, overtake aggression and defend both on low/rarely defend, their pace would improve massively. Basically, when you put the defend on medium, they would just defend too early into any corner and lose out more to the car in front. Even if the overtake aggression is on low, they will still make passes using overspeed, the aggression thing only affects dive bombing.
i feel that sidepods are now just as important as your underfloor because they talked a lot with actual f1 cars improving over the last year with their side pod development e.g. Mclaren of very recent. dont think you dont much sidepod development yet.

I have save with Haas and i managed to get Hülkenberg in Monaco qualifying to P5 in grid but red flag and wrong stragedy ruined race ending in P9 win Hülk and 10 with K-Mag
Nah, always minimize durability.. the extra performance is well worth the life lost on the part, especially when you factor in that your drivers may crash the car anyways, or you may get a new design done.. always go for the performance gain.. the manufacturing price will cost the same no matter what.. get the most out of your parts.
and the tyres not warming up in time for flying lap in qually does happen on some tracks.. best thing to do is do 2 flying laps no cooldown, u can gain a lot of time in sector 1 alone, in most cases 6 tenths
Yuki is a wonderful pickup, in my haas career i signed him to the 2024 season, and he's currently 2nd in the wdc going into baku. nico is really pushing his luck. i kept him for the 2024 season because i wanted to save money, and i signed theo to be a reserve for 2024, didnt want to reconstruct that contract. but nico hasnt been bad this year, he's performed alright, but he is still pretty inconsistent
i have it too, what team are you in? i am in merc wjth preety close stats, (besides acceleration) some even better than bulls, martins and ferraris yet on a race pace i have to overcook the tyres otherwise i will be 10000 seconds down to them. and even with that they often just put 1 sec in like 1.5 lap
full push tires with avoiding high risk kerbs will make your race pace more consistent and it ignores a lot of tire wear and overheating for some reason
