Just wanted to let you know I followed your exact procedure to install my new galaxy s21 ultra whitestone dome for two phone and both flawless. Usually I have like one piece of dust or a tiny hair in then but this time with your extensive cleaning and checking model I managed to get it done perfect. Took about 30 min but the screen protectors are the best.

I've watched so many of these videos, and it surprises me that almost no one ever wears gloves!
Easy way to avoid any oil residue after cleaning would be to wear powder free nitrile or latex gloves during install.
Are the glasses different from the previous model?

so literally just did my install, was on the fence about buying at first because of some of the reviews i had seen, first install was great aside from one very tiny bubble in the very bottom near the edge and some really tiny specs near the top that you wouldn't notice if you weren't looking really close. I didn't redo the install because I didn't feel like breaking a protector for something so minor. Hopefully when i have to do a future install it goes better.
What would you do if liquid did not completely cover ? This happened when I installed it on my older phone with a different style applicator.
** I also just received the "new" install set up from White Stone Dome Glass , for the S21 Ultra and it is different than this one. Hope a video is up soon for the S21 Ultra**
Whitestone Dome protectors are the best. But in my opinion this appears a little bit more involved than the previous installation steps. Especially when the mechanism knocked the "weight" sideways. I've never had an issue pulling the tab the old way and letting the protector "drop"
I never had an issue either.
I think if you watch other videos , this was just because it may have not been pushed in all the way. The set up for the S21 Ultra glass installation is different. It does not have a pin to pull out. I hope they do a S21 Ultra install soon.
I always somehow get that one dust particle in there that I somehow miss. I need to find a location that I can do it in with less dust! I have two pets and two kids so it gets hairy and dusty fast.
Best place is in the bathroom either after a hot shower or run the shower until you get steam. That weights down the air particles

Got my S21 Ultra a day early yesterday and had also purchased a Whitestone cover for it.
I was extremely intimidated by the process and found both the paperwork and company video's to be lacklustre.
This video made it (almost) stress free!
This look a bit easier to install, hope there will be this new option for the note 20 ultra.

I think it is because he screwed up the weight. It was not center like it should have been causing uneven distribution of the liquid
When I put the weight on my s21 ultra it slightly touched the glue and started to pull it down. I took off the protector and cleaned the small amount of glue off and tried to put it back in with the weight. It touched the glue again so this time I just quickly pulled the lever and luckily it worked and was enough glue
Does this destroy the actual screen? how easy is this to remove?
Nope. I have had these on all my phones for years
The one on my Note 20 Ultra cracked into a bunch of tiny pieces and it took me 3 days to successfully get it off of my phone. I thought I'd damaged the phone trying to get it off but thankfully there wasn't really any damage to the actual screen. It was hell getting it off though
I've experienced this in the past. Sometimes I feel like the loca breaks down or the oleophobic coating gets damaged by the loca over time and you end up needing to scrape the glass off. This happened to my S20 ultra twice where I needed razor blades to get the screen protector off.
The only downside is that you have to do this on a leveled surface. If your table is slanted or wobbly. It will give you trouble. Must be on any leveled surface. I failed to put one on my s21 plus and decided to just throw away the screen protector. Too much risk involved. Better off asking a professional to install the white dome screen protector.
This was a pain. The liquid does not cover all of the glass. This is too much of a hassle and it is very difficult to get it right.
Plastic waste at its best.

When you are about to "waste" 1.5gr of lithium, the environmental implications of the plastic waste fades pretty quickly.
More than all those cheap platic protectors applied to curved-edge Samsungs which then peel up at the edges and are promptly tossed into the trash? This 1 box pretty much ensures coverage for the life of the device (as long as one doesn't drop and break both). It's not really a waste if it's useful...
Have you checked out a Wendy's/McDonald's/etc. lately? Billions of customers served every day, endless amounts of plastic bags filled with plastic wrappers, utensils, straws, lids and clamshells. Pick your battles; I don't think Whitestone is the offender here.
