This is just for making show balanced as you know Dany's dragons were small as arrax in books but in show they did them bigger becouse create hype so same they did becouse if it's bigger there will be no hyper for vhager vermithor
Still guys we still have to wait for one year, becouse we didn't see him properly as the sheep drop from his mauth almost size of his teeth dragons looks bigger maybe it's so we will know in season 3
Cannibal is supposedly older than Balerion but smaller than Vermithor. Theoretically, freedom and age aren’t the only components that cause the dragons to grow. The wild dragons do have access to food, but I doubt they are as well fed as the Targaryen dragons. I think Sheepstealer should have been larger, but Vermithor should be much larger than Sheepstealer imo.
I also have issues with Sheepstealer's size, but at the same time, it's not that far off. To elaborate on why I think that is, I'm going to use both the book lore and the show lore as references. In the book, it explicitly states that both Caraxes and Sheepstealer don't stand a chance against Vhagar on their own and that they only stand a chance at taking her down when they're together. In the show, when Rhaenyra and Jacaerys are speaking in episode 5, Jace mentions that Silverwing and Vermithor are the only two dragons that can kill Vhagar when they're alone (at least, that's how I understood what he said). Besides, Daemon asks and even attempts to force Rhaenys (not that The Queen Who Should Have Been would ever let Daemon of all people tell her what to do) to join him, because with Meleys and Caraxes together, he was almost certain that they'd be able to kill Vhagar. So, I think that the show was right to make Sheepstealer smaller than Silverwing and Vermithor (even though he should be around the size of Silverwing, maybe a bit smaller, based on his age, because he hatched when Jaehaerys was young), but in my opinion they made him a little too small. Anyway, this may be an unpopular opinion (along with the fact that I'm glad they cut Nettles and are giving Sheepstealer to Rhaena), but it's just that: my opinion.
In reality, size/height isn't limited strictly to age......there are tall humans, average humans, short humans etc........like tyrion, Sheepstealer being a mature dragon that isn't large isn't that crazy. It happens in the animal kingdom a lot. Smaller adult animals regardless of age/activity/food source. It is what it is.
I don't like that. Maybe because I've always viewed Morning's hatching as an symbolic omen for the Blacks, when most dragons during the dance were either killed, or fled and never seen again. I still don't like the Nettles erasure, and I don't know how the heck would they insert Morning into this. Nettles and Sheepstealer fled from Westeros. While Rhaena comes back to King's landing riding Morning. How would they do this in the show? I sincerely hope they don't butcher it. I've had enough with this changing stuff.
Sheepstealer is big, no idea what you guys are talking about. Bigger than moondancer, vermax, and probably bigger than Sunfyre too. As big as Syrax and Seasmoke. One thing nobody has mentioned is why exactly some dragons get so huge. While growing up free and uncaged is one theory, another perhaps in combo is that dragons needs magic to grow. Martin has said over and over again there is power in blood. Some people have more significance/ magic than others, like royalty. Dragons that have been in battles and killed people by the score and/or eaten people are exposed to more magical energy and can grow larger and faster. A lot of the mature dragons seen in the show are veterans of past battles. Meleys, vhagar, caraxes, etc and have killed hundreds of people, allowing them to absorb the magical energy. The current gen dragons like sunfyre, vermax, and arrax spent their whole lives in the dragon pit. Dragons might not necessarily die from not killing and eating people but they are smaller for it. Sheepstealer was known to eat sheep, and was rather skittish. Could she have killed or eaten people along the way? Maybe, but she has her name for a reason. So even though she is of an age that should make her pretty big, she’s remained somewhat stunted. Think to drogon growing larger than his brothers. Yes he flew free while the others were caged, but he also killed and ate lots of people, and was involved in several fights too. Remember that the blood mages of valyria are theorized to have created dragons from combining fire wryms and drakes. They used blood magic, aka ritualistically killing many many slaves, to allow the mages to create hybrids. It’s not crazy to think that the dragons, as a result of the means of their species creation, would benefit from absorbing the blood magic from their victims.
I think it's a combination of them being able to hunt and roam freely as well as The strife that comes with war and all the sacrifices that happened in that.. plus like most predators if there are others to challenge for resources I'm pretty sure they are probably grow for a better chance to lay claim to prey
Yes you’re right. In addition to absorbing blood magic, the dragons being free is a huge factor. In the books, life in the dragonpit means the dragons were just chained to the ground. Pretty sad. Any animal that is free to exercise and roam is going to be much healthier. Grey ghost and sheepstealer are still “of fighting size” so they are large enough to be formidable. They both just happen to prefer non human prey and just aren’t absolute monsters. As we see in the tessarion vs vermithor vs seasmoke fight, and the caraxes vs vhagar fight, smaller dragons matter.
People complaining about Sheepstealer's size are funny(i also think the calculation here is wrong), i get getting angry about Nettles being cut from the show but this is ridiculous, they're basically using the same concept from Cannibal and Grey Ghost, meaning wild Dragons(Dragons that never bonded and have to hunt on their own) don't grow as much as Targaryen Dragons, which are constantly fed and don't need to scout for food. PS: There is also the theory that blood magic accelerates Dragon's growth and that would be why Vermithor is bigger than Cannibal and Silverwing is bigger than Sheepstealer.

Finally, a video that mentions that Munkun described the dragon but really never saw how the dragon looked. I saw people outraged because the dragon was not "mud brown" like the books described it. I personally find the design to be ugly, but it suits Sheepstealer wild nature and that pied coloring is spot on
@@ramondofuhren3651the show might take it differently though like they did with sheepstealer size. Plus cannibal is ment to be an ancient dragon who is older.
@@marcos-ll2yr Yh, they literally made him like the size of Syrax, might be even smaller... Also, Dreamfyre seems to be much smaller than what she was described in the books (in the books she must be like an in between Caraxes and Meleys to Vermithor or so) whereas in the show, she looked to be abot Vyserion/Drogon size, quite smaller than Mleyes/Caraxes.
Sheepstealer wasn't said to be born when the old king was a young boy, it was said to be born when he was still young. Considering Jaeherys lived so long, that could be any time in a 30 - 40 year period. And that's assuming there's any truth to it. In the book he's smaller than Caraxes.
If y’all are wondering why sheepstealer Isn’t very big… well.. I’m not 100% sure if this is true but dragons need magical energy to grow large, and burning people is a good source of magic.. which is also probably why Drogon grew so big so fast (he started killing people when he was a hatchling) and why balarion and all the other large dragons (like vhagar, being a war dragon) grew soo big. They were used for war and burnt many, so they grew larger. (O yea I forgot to add the Main reason: sheepstealer did not interact with people so he didn’t really burn anyone)
sheep stealer is crouching low to the ground in that scene so he looks smaller then he should be as he is supposed to be around the same size as silverwing (maybe slightly larger) and the official size chart for the dragons sizes during the dance also show him being close to silverwings size so either him crouching is making him look smaller or the messed up on the animation for that scene.
I truly don't get these complaints about the Size. Yeah sheep stealers got open range but he's probably not getting consistent meals like the Targaryen dragons, seems like the books didn't make him out to be particularly large either. Narratively it doesn't seem like he needs to be too massive either now that Team black just Got Vermithor and Silverwing and team green as far as I know aren't gonna get the chance to claim many more dragons right? Like it's become a _crushing_ advantage. He looks absolutely awesome regardless
I am often curious if some of the dragons are dreamers as well. Like Helena and the three eyed raven. *What if* they chose their riders based on the visions of the future they themselves have seen.

I don’t know why people are so obsessed with dragon sizes it only says sheepstealer is the second largest wild dragon…that’s extremely vague I never saw him as a monster of a dragon especially while reading the books
I think the scale is off judging by how small that sheep looked in his mouth. I woundn't be surprised if hes way bigger than it looks. He should be way bigger than Caraxes. They made Vhagar look way smaller when she had to fry her rider but now she looks huge again.
Sheepstealer is based on history of Polish legendary dragon living in Kraków (Cracov), killed by clever shepherd who filled a sheep with poison and left it as a trap.
@MindQ, now that the season has ended and all dragons I believe will be included in the series have been shown, it is time to make a full size (length and mass) comparison video discussing the dragons' combat capabilities (ability to harm other dragons ans defensive).
i think you are wrong with these measures, rheana could be a little bit closer to the camera making perception of her size not good for measuring sheepstealer, we know for a fact that sheep that drops from sheepstealer mouth is same distance from camera as a dragon. Average sheep is 5 ft in lenght. If you measure again you will see that sheepstealer is much bigger. By my measures sheepstealer head alone is 10 feet in lenght, you can fit 15 heads in a lenght of a body making it 150ft dragon(thats 45m) or in other words similar size as meleys. This is under comdotion that sheep is of small/average size, big sheep could be up to 6 ft long. That makes sheepstealer around 55-60(180-210ft) m long(from head to tail), with 70-80m (230-260ft) wingspan. Pretty big dragon. I think in this case it was a sheep of bigger size, he is big boy he needs a lot of food 😂😂, plus who could have stop him from stealing the biggest sheep in a flock. So size is closer to my bigger estimations.
I was wondering, can dragons learn other languages other than Valyrian? Do they know Valyrian straight after hatching or do they have learn it as they grow? If so, why not just the common tongue?
its abput the blood magic on the valyrians they got the dragon blood the dragon could feel of there rider what they attempt to do u could see it went syrax start to scream went rhaenyra while birthing a dead baby on the dragonstone clip soo if the rider sayed Dracarys for example or fire him the dragon will know it cause he feels what his rider want to but on better way is on Valyrian tongue cause its the orginal language for the dragonslords soo that make more options and easy way to let the dragon to do what you want

Everyone arguing on size whats with you guys and wanting every dragon to be super sized it never states exactly how big most of the dragons are in the book only vhagar and vermithore are mentioned to be the largest so the show can go any way it wants
Why is She/He same age as Dreamfyre, Vermithor, silverwing, but not as big? I mean, dragons that live freely and are not contained grow larger right? so why is it so little but quit old? Showrunners mistake???
I think it's because the Targaryen dragons get fed constantly, unlike this dragon I also think a dragons growth also has to do with blood magic , that might be why khaleesi's dragons were able to be that big in a short space of time
Given both sheep-stealer and cannibal vanished after the dance it wouldn’t surprise me if in the late stages of the war cannibal ambushes sheep-stealer while alone, some sort of horror scene as the largest and most feral wild dragon hunts down a dragon even as large as sheep-stealer. A badass way to explain the disappearance…

I really hope we get to see Cannibal. I want to see a dragon that is just designed to look evil.
Do make another mythical creatures size next!
Finally, a video that mentions that Munkun described the dragon but really never saw how the dragon looked. I saw people outraged because the dragon was not "mud brown" like the books described it. I personally find the design to be ugly, but it suits Sheepstealer wild nature and that pied coloring is spot on
He reminds me of stray dogs with the coloration. Fits a wild dragon well, though he kinda looks a bit sickly
I hope cannibal is bigger than vermithor and more savage and menacing.
Hes not vermithor was said too be the 2nd largest after vhagar
@@ramondofuhren3651the show might take it differently though like they did with sheepstealer size. Plus cannibal is ment to be an ancient dragon who is older.
@@Themistocles30 even in the show vermithor is said to be second largest
@@ramondofuhren3651 of the targaryen dragons, they never included cannibal, he is said to be as old if not older than balerion.
@@MisterDanger01 no vermithor is 2nd largest dragon in the world including canibal
All I know is next season better be action packed man
Shouldn't this dragon be way bigger according to his age?
he should be a little smaller than Vermithor
@@SuzdarIbrahim-f8n yes at least silverwing size
@@marcos-ll2yr Yh, they literally made him like the size of Syrax, might be even smaller... Also, Dreamfyre seems to be much smaller than what she was described in the books (in the books she must be like an in between Caraxes and Meleys to Vermithor or so) whereas in the show, she looked to be abot Vyserion/Drogon size, quite smaller than Mleyes/Caraxes.
@@mauro6545 yeah I think is the size of syrax
They’re not being faithful to Sheepstealers age.
someone made a theory that the books are one timeline and another timeline has been created by the the show creators to where rhaenyra doesnt die
I think it was all perspective. The sheep it dropped looked super tiny compared to sheep stealer.
They made the dragon just appear smaller
Can you make a video categorizing all the dragons we saw this season with the different breeds?
I can’t wait to see Daemons reaction
Poor Sheepstealer looks so ragged and worn. I was hoping Rhaena would claim him before the final episode.
Shoooot....I totally forgot your channel has spoilers without warning 8
sheep stealer is crouching low to the ground in that scene so he looks smaller then he should be as he is supposed to be around the same size as silverwing (maybe slightly larger) and the official size chart for the dragons sizes during the dance also show him being close to silverwings size so either him crouching is making him look smaller or the messed up on the animation for that scene.
During the wide shot you can see Rhaena and Sheepsteeler in that shot and Sheepsteeler is larger than it seems as Rhaenyra is as tall as his head.
Not only have they robbed us of Nettles, they downsized Sheepstealer. He should be at least around the size of Silverwing. What a waste.
they'll fix it i think, caraxes and vhagar also looked smaller in the 1st season, now they're huge.
@@MisterDanger01 Caraxes looked smaller, bc at the beggining of S1, in the second episode, that was in 112AC, 19 years before of 131AC, where S2 takes place... So Caraxes who rn is about 60-65 yo, at that time was 41-46yo... Thats why he looked quite smaller before.
Whereas Vermithor, he looked about the same, maybe they didnt knew how to propperly scale him up.
@@mauro6545also how is it that seasmoke is bigger than a lot other dragons. On that beach Seasmoke looked a little smaller then Vermithor.
@@mauro6545 with HBO u never know, they always do brainstorming after each season and try to fix as close to the books they can, i guess with sheepstealer in S3 he'll be much bigger its always an up & down with Hbo
@@sgs6330 Hmm Seasmoke hasnt been in any scene alongside Vermithor?
If you mean: Seasmoke and Syrax, well, thy are about the same age (both of them are 30-33 years old) thats why they are of a similar size. Much bigger than the likes of Tessarion or Vermax, but way smaller than Caraxes or Meleys.
Do other top 10 biggest sea monsters size in the movies, tv series and animated please!
i have a feeling that sheep stealer is cannibal's descendant
Do make Another Sharks Size in the Movies and Tv Series next please!!
Seeing a dragon with vitiligo is honestly so cool.
They better let dreamfyre, silverwing and sheepstealer live.
If his wild does this mean he won’t have a saddle and won’t understand the commands of the ride?
Fs in the chat for the lack of a dragon battle royal in the finale 🥱
Why does everyone think Morning is Sheepstealer?
Guys it’s just proportions and angle that makes sheep stealer look smaller
i think you are wrong with these measures, rheana could be a little bit closer to the camera making perception of her size not good for measuring sheepstealer, we know for a fact that sheep that drops from sheepstealer mouth is same distance from camera as a dragon.
Them sizing down Sheepstealer seem like an odd choice
-10 /10 for that stupied design
We were robbed of a good season 2 finale
Rheana together with sheepstealer will be the reinforcement on war along with the knights of the vale
The camera angle is slanted.
im getting way too attached to these dragons, knowing their fate. LOL
please make a video of what would happen if Ghidorah came to house of the dragon's planet
Ghidorah would kill them all and be back it time to have his breakfast lol 😂 lmao 😂😅
makes no sense lil bro u just want to glaze him imao
He would turn all of Westeros into an apocalyptic wasteland with one breath and then he'd fly over to Essos 3 minutes later and do the same lol.
@@SmallTownResident fuck yeah bro that's what I'm talking about lol 😂 lmao
WATCH CAREFULLY THE OPENING TAPESTRY OF EP 8. YOU SEE A HUGE BLACK AS COAL DRAGON CHASING A MUD BROWN DRAGON, CANNIBAL IS COMMING BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY watch 1:24 mark in the episode (not in this video) you also see sunfyre fighting grey ghost, so we'l'l see all 3 wild dragons next season
I love that they gave her vitiligo, it makes her look beautiful while keeping her mud brown
Isnt sheepstealer supposed to be larger than silverwing and smaller than vermithor making him the 3rd largest ?
he is 90 years old Soo Yeah he should be more size big as a top 5 dragon on the dance atleast but on this clip he is more like croc with wings Stupid design and his size as moondancer like is he a dwarf dragon ? and he lived 80 to 90 Y on a cage or something its sad they make him that look if you open the Book or Searched on internet You Would see How big and Perfect Design he is but the writers f cked up
I wonder if the will show the other two wild dragons
Never understood why there would be bones. Wouldn't the dragon swallow the entire carcass?
Perhaps it's the prey they don't eat, only burned to crisp.
I assume they regurgitate the bones in the same way a cat spits out all the hair it swallows. Can't be a pleasant toilet trip otherwise.
I think it's because the Targaryen dragons get fed constantly, unlike this dragon I also think a dragons growth also has to do with blood magic , that might be why khaleesi's dragons were able to be that big in a short space of time
Bring back nettles!!! Make Sheepstealer BIG again!!!!!
too late to edit no morning no nettels sad
Seems like the whole world has read the books. I don't even know what books are these series based on😂
'The World of Ice & Fire' and 'Fire & Blood'
I love this Dragon there's something about it, especially the raw!! He sounds like an angry homeless old man 🐲
Even tho he's small compared to what I thought he would I really like the beige spots makes me feel like he has vitiligo
wtf is he so little for? Is it really that expensive to make the dragons the size they supposed to be?!?!?!
the Derp dragon
Why is Sheepstealer so small? I wish they made him bigger for Neetles. Totally downsized Sheepstealer😧
Imagine house of dragons seasson 3 and 4 officially!
The dragon worshipped by the Painted dogs clan has the coloration similar to irl painted dogs from Africa
I really want to see cannibal 😂
Given both sheep-stealer and cannibal vanished after the dance it wouldn’t surprise me if in the late stages of the war cannibal ambushes sheep-stealer while alone, some sort of horror scene as the largest and most feral wild dragon hunts down a dragon even as large as sheep-stealer. A badass way to explain the disappearance…
@@Lord-PhantomI highly doubt that Cannibal only hunted hatchlings and raided nest for eggs he’ll never go toe to toe with a adult dragon
@@synivy4576 he was known to kill any dragon he could even young adults but larger dragons are better at avoiding him and protecting themselves, even dragons like Vermithor hated every being near him
I mean I know that this is most definitely Sheepstealer but it might not be, or they just changed his age bcs yea he is wah too small. Still he looks badass!
But why her eyes just popped out like that
How about Paris Under 2024 Lilith size than Bruce size next!
“So he didn’t know shit” 😂😂
I don’t get it , in the beginning of hotd they mention that there are 3 breads of dragons now we see like 5 different breeds 😮😂😂😂😂
Half of his origin size
Hopefully nettles is still written in only give her the cannibal
too late to edit no morning no nettels and cannibal wont get a rider cause if they did that mean they got another vermithor soo they gonna win the blacks even with the betrays that will come on the future
@@Danish_Explorer yeah I know wishful thinking
Can sheepstealer defeat vhagar? 😒
Where do the 50k vale soldiers and its smallfolks stay???? All we see is a castle on a peak of a mountain
Wild birds are the most colorful beauty.
Why make an ugly dragon
They got him sooo dam small sheep stealer should be bigger u think 🤔
I think he is bigger than he seems because of perspective, if you compare him to the sheep in his mouth which he throws away he seems massive.
They dont have enough budget
like how tf HBO doesnt got a budget for a dragon design for a worthy series that will bring tons of money soo ok what we gonna say about godzilla Kingkong i am sure they cost 100x times than makeing a stuiped lizard with wings fly soo its not about a budget its about the stupids that they writing the series
hes far too small
He's supposed to be way larger. He's larger than Silverwing but smaller than Vermithor.
Sheepstealer looks like fetal cat or wolf in appearance tbh but I kind like his uniqueness yet said to be the ugliest dragon in the lore. 😅
bro he looks like a soup someone designed with capcut
he’s way too small
I am not impressed for size of sheepstealer, I thought, sheepstealer one of the big dragon and estimated his like Vermithor, and I hope show makers made The Cannibal biggest of all dragon, and it’s show us greatest of Dragon.
cannibal is said to be older than even balerion if the seafolk story is true, but since HBO twistes the stories, god knows if they make him as big as balerion or of the size of vermithor, yes it is said that vhagar was 1º and vermithor was 2º of the largest dragons, but the largest dragons of the targaryens, cannibal is a wild dragon, his size was never established but if his age is true, he must be huge as fk
rhaena's arc is so bad. all the focus was places on the main characters (which it great, their performances were good) but it is sad that the show has hits and misses.
So you are telling me after leaving the erie she run away from the kids and the guards andno one seems to care enough to find her and she just abandoned the kids and the responsibility of the eggs give to her by the queen just to have a tiny chance to encounter this wild dragon 😂 this situation is just messy and bad story writing they just can't be faithful to the books even if is finished 😢
How about All Mutants Creatures from the S.t.a.l.k.e.r 2 Heart of Chernobyl appears in September officially!!
soo you are a damn bot just to make more comments number
