    I upload daily Pro Rocket League content on my main channel, I hope to see you there: @ApparentlyJack
    ApparentlyJack here, if you found this useful and want your replay analysed by me to gain a better, more personal insight on how to improve your Rocket League game, then head over to my Twitch channel. It costs $25 to "Tier 3 sub" on Twitch and I attempt to give good value for money and teach you guys everything that I pick up on in one replay. I hope to see some of you there! 🙂

    Super useful. I've listened to a number of other pros analyzing replays and mostly it is about boost management and pathing on small pads and maybe a sentence or two about positioning in goal. I like yours much more!

    Hey Jack, I'm gc1/gc2 and just got onto my colleges team. How would I get an analysis? My mechanics are more than enough to keep up but I find myself quite awkwardly positioned and im not sure how aggressive to play sometimes.

    this guy would be a perfect teammate for me because im more mechanical, so the fact that hes more of a support/ defense player we would work really well together..that game wouldnt have went to ot if he had me lol but he does need to work a lot on his mechanics for saves mainly, like jack says he has good positioning. if he had a better teammate i think it would have shown his playstyle better because he wouldnt have had to be as panicky with some of these plays.

    • @Brauni578
      @Brauni578 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have been playing low c3/ high c2 lately and I am currently running into teammtes who are really "mechanical". Air rolling, hitting flip resets but in every situation regardless of the situation. They hit a goal or two now and then but most times I am left in 2 vs 1 defense because they whif hard or doing dumb plays which look good but are pointless and leave them with zero boost. The thing is they have mechanics but not good game sense and positioning is shit. It doesn't matter if someone hits one good flip reset in a round but we get scored on so many times because their teammate is left alone against the opponent. It is frustrating because I don't use flashy mechanics or train them often and focus more on plays which have sense and position accordingly but my teammate thinks he is training air roll or flip resets in freeplay and goes for this shit every faking time and you can not say if he hits his shot or whifs again and passes the ball to the opponent. .. I don't have a very high rank but in my opinion playing good is not showing nice flashy mechanics. Those things don't mean shit if you are out of position every time and the opponents know what they do and can save a good air dribble or even shit resets. Going for solo plays with the mindset that your teammate will solve everything if you whif or get saved on is exactly the mindset of many players in my rank which leads to frustrating matches where I have up to 10+ saves sometimes because that is the only thing I can do while my m8 is grapping his 100 boost in the opponent corner after launching across the field after missing his air dribble with air roll.

    • @chris_dino9377
      @chris_dino9377 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Air rolling is not mechanical, plus air rolling is how you recover and hit the ball better in most situations. I said I'm mechanical meaning when I got to hit the ball. I don't miss. I place my shots better then most people, I can make solo plays, my mechanics are also a reason why I recover quickly and make saves. I can promise you have never gotten 10 saves in a game unless you just camp in net. Mechanics aren't only flip resets. Don't speak unless you know what your talking about.

    • @Brauni578
      @Brauni578 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chris_dino9377 Since when is air rolling not a mechanic? Mechanics are everything from dribbling the ball in front of your car to recoverys to advanced stuff like flip resets. But what I mean is that guys air roll for everything regardless of sense and they aren't as good as they think so they miss a lot, use all their boost and leaving their teammates alone because boost is more important for their next aerial which they whif so they rather want to grab the next 100 boost than rotate into defense.
      I know what I'm talking about and you are right that air roll is important for recovery and shot placement but many people at that rank aren't as good as they think with it so they whif often because of lack of training and arrogance but do this shit anyways.
      I don't know what rank you are or how good you are but if you watch these analysis you are likely at the same skill as I am and there is a reason we aren't SSL and when you think your mechanics and skills are sooo good that you can brag about them in the comments there is something you lack. It is funny that you comment that you don't miss the ball and are so good at shooting when that might be true you are very likely trashy at gamesense and rotations because you think that you would be so good with your great mechanics with a teammate like the one in the video who supports your shitty plays and have to play passive all game because you give away the ball with your great skill.
