This play, and the one where dark chose to go for a wall to air dribble with a few seconds left on the clock, DESPITE being able to secure the game if he wasted some time instead, and ended up scoring a disgusting triple reset on Arsenal, really stuck out to me

There wasn't a single air dribble attempt from Dark's corner that wasn't effective and threatening, this guy's aerial and reset mechanics are simply disgusting even without the pogos but with them he just goes beyond. He seems to take the ball into the air even more often than the most mechanical, aerial based players because he creates so many opportunities and good set ups, especially with the fakes on kickoffs. It's always fun watching this guy, he's single handedly redefining the meta

He's not really redefining the meta just because he bashes mechanics. He's insanely technical but he scraped past arsenal so he will lose to the best 1s players

He influenced a lot of players at the top on his own, how is that not redefining the meta. And we all have off days, he still won 3-1. What a euphoric game of rl. Arsenal played his offence and defence OUT OF HIS MIND. Dark(?) played his offence and kickoffs OUT OF HIS MIND TOO. Chat was a bit toxic but that happens. This whole showmatch was oozing with the highest level of rl skill

@@sscr1p7 Well I don’t find him vanilla like many rl streamers. His mechanics aren’t out worldly like Dark but I love the randomness and the chaotic nature of his videos. I probably wouldn’t watch a full stream But I always find myself watching every one of his TH-cam vids.

I have been wanting a 1v1 with Arsenal or Retals to really see what Dark was made of. This really shows why Arsenal is a pro. He's not a 1s main, but he is obviously really good. This also really shows just how good dark is. The truly innovative thing he does is his crazy good fake kick off. It's actually crazy hard to read.

Aresenals defence was crazy as hell I feel like that is being under appreciated how hard it is to defend of all of that.

yeah but dark is incredibly easy to read. his entire play style is resets and pogos so after a couple minutes any average shot from dark is pretty easy to save
@@ethann_1 Have you seen his pogo fakes? you telling you can easily read those? if you think you can read half of his stuff you are a clown, oh and you still have to read it in time AND save it
@@afernz4999 i noticed that if he pogos earlier he isnt faking it and it gives him space for a powerful flick which is practically impossible to save but if hes closer to the net he will 9/10 times go for a shot.

I'm a fan of Arsenal. He's the most confident RL pro I've ever witnessed. So it goes to show just how good Dark is to go up against him. Definitely a new favorite of mine. Amazing 1v1 match!

Man this series really just shows how far RL has come mechanically. Few years ago people were saying flip resets are all flash and have no place in high level games and now look where we are. In 1s nonetheless.

I wonder what the whole "Zap Dash" issue is. Even if it becomes common, it's his thing. People still call Musty's flick "a musty" but everyone does it.
I'm probably always gonna call it the Zap Dash no matter what.
It's either that or recovery dash, and that just doesn't sound as good.
