Was anyone else disturbed in story #2 that the husband wouldn't listen to his wife, dismiss the opinions of women and only sort of admitted he was wrong when men told him so? This is a huge red flag. He doesn't respect or see her and women as human.

    • @TheePrincessBrat
      @TheePrincessBrat 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +111

YES! I just went to the comments to see if anyone caught that. Like does she not see the problem with him not listening until MEN said it. Then, and only then, is when he felt bad and inconsiderate. That means the behavior was probably not unintentional in the first place. He sees that as a woman’s place, and he comes home and plays daddy when he’s not out working or socializing. If the menz of Reddit are saying your hubby is trash then girl…
She’s already the breadwinner so maybe that’s his way of still feeling masculine?? Idk but this is so ass backwards. Even if the women agreed with him, this is your wife, she just gave birth…why do you need to be persuaded to support her by anyone?!

They're literally turned on by women being knocked up, isolated, and emotionally and financially dependent on them. For this type, it's the only thing outside of violence that makes them feel "powerful." And once we're locked into this disempowerd position, their need to resent us (in order to offload their own self-loathing) is then fully justified because of the burden they see us as. A burden they created. Then... destructive behaviors incoming to implode the relationship. It's the antithesis of love.

Quite the opposite and as I've pointed out to them, all animals know the difference between pleasure and pain but they think they can gaslight or 'train her up' (like a dog) to think their deviancy is normal? It's a myth of sexual tabula rasa from guys claiming they don't believe in blank slates. They are like Marquis de Sade, read about him. It's sexual sadism. @stoneyhighhigh3677 I would never even trust a woman , who has been in denial and playing the victim role to a cheating husband or forever boyfriend , around an innocent baby anyway. These adult women knows what’s up with these men they are living with, they snoop- they compete- etc etc etc.
Bottom line is, a man wouldn’t accept being cheated on and a man MOST DEFINITELY wouldn’t allow any woman to put down other MEN , by saying ish like “ it was just s3x, he didn’t mean anything to me”, no they are going to swear you loved him and wanted him! Only women get off on evil men bragging about not caring about other women, literally seeing them as non human- and stay with him to show that he really “”loves her”. Women who internalize misogyny are funny to me. They accept that men hate all women but somehow think they’re the exception???? LOL yeah ok

By the time I graduated, I was ready to rip my hair out and flee to the forest. I worked my 3rd season in the parks the year after and had to quit due to disability. That hurt more than my divorce. I poured my everything into my career. I couldn't get out of bed for weeks other than to do the basics for my kid. My kid was worth it, but if I knew that my dream career was going go down in flames along with my marriage. I wouldn't have lost the work credits and I have student loans. I loved going to college. Story #1: I am so so so proud of this woman. I wish I had her strength and conviction at that age. It's a dang shame that everybody discouraged her. Just goes to show you, sometimes you only have dumbazz ppl around you who will give bad advice and send you down an awful path. Particularly when it's your family, who you may love very much - - but you never chose them. Don't just take ppl advice because they're close to you especially family, look inside first. Even if you respect them and think they usually make good decisions, never detach from your own inner compass. You can love people in your family and whatnot, but you GOTTA insist on being you and doing you, without apology. If you don't, you will end up like a paper bag being tossed around in the breeze. If you cannot do what this woman did, it'll be much more likely that you will suffer unimaginable misery in a life you never actually wanted. When she said "I didn't even try to argue" that's a life saving skill right there. Don't get dragged into a negotiation!!! GO WITH YOUR GUT, LOOK INWARDS, ONLY **YOU** KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU!!!!!

I feel like feminist only really supports taking off hijab but not really gain powerful positions for women since that seems to be sole focus - what she can and can wear.
Most muslim women hate misogyny from men. Misogyny and Religion are 2 different things however living in a male power dominant society they will use religion to fuel an agenda for personal benefit.

Did you know that the Jewish Faith wasn't always so sexist? Miriam was a prophet. They book of Micah said she and Aaron and Moses were sent to rescue Israel. Deborah was a chief judge and rules Israel. Moses married a black woman. When he was criticized God punished them for it. They weren't supposed to marry anyone not covenanted to God but she had joined so it didn't matter her race.
The priests took the oath to Onah to treat his wife with respect and to satisfy her sexually to the best of his ability or she could divorce him. In the ancient world yes.
Also the Bible says that husband and wife should submit themselves to each other but men leave that part out. Also there was a female apostle named junia that worked with Paul. But scribes changed her name to a male name and altered lines so later Paul said women shouldn't even speak at church? God brings equality but men like to back track and then they weaponized it. This is what happened when Rome co-opted religion. Islam though is terrible. Their 'prophet' was a child molester.

    • @kellharris2491
      @kellharris2491 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The Bible actually prophesied all this. See in the Garden of Eden Adam and Eve were equals. But they wanted knowledge. God said no because they would die but it was their choice to decide. Eaten said they wouldn't die but would be like Gods learning what good and evil meant. So they took the fruit. God said he would send his son to take away their transgressions but the real world would be tough. Men would rule over women and women would have a tough time with children and would chase after men excessively.
But once they were saved they would be redeemed from the fall.
      These people are not saved.
The same thing happened with Noah and his son ham. Noah was the prophet and his son despite his teachings thought the priesthood power was with his fathers clothes. Noah said his son was an idiot and that they would end up being servants of man.
Guess what while slavery and bondage happened everywhere Africa were Hams kids settled ended up the worst off. They still practice slavery openly in Africa to this day. This is all a consequence of their own actions and choices not Gods. People use the Bible to justify it not understanding that it was prophesy. That if they were born again into good conduct and a remission of their sins they and their people were blessed and protected out of bandage.
In this world we are all facing a test and learning the difference between good and evil. God said don't do it because it would be hard and he didn't want us to suffer but he said its are choice to come to this world to learn and obtain knowledge. Satan though wants to take away choice. So we are either on his side or Gods. That is good and evil.

Story 2 kinda sounds like ambivalent sexism. It’s clear he has some problematic beliefs about gender. I do wonder if he’s also resentful or jealous of her, and this is how he exerts some kind of dominance? It sounds like _he_ perceived it as a power struggle, and thought the men would back him up about his “nagging wife.”
This isn’t a “let’s see what guys think” scenario. Thats for silly stuff like “wife says it’s time to retire my ‘mandles’. What do you guys think?” It isn’t for serious issues like this that chip away at a marriage over time. Smh. I wonder if couple’s counseling would work

The 1st story & the last story- I applaud both ladies for meaning what they say & standing on business!
1st story- a good thing that she left at the 1st red flag because he probably would've poke holes in the condom & tried to baby trap her. I love the way she ended it too like that was real savage of her to end it cut & dry w/o giving him a chance to make you feel guilty so you can change your mind.
Last story- he got some nerve to think she will stay if the kid to move in. He would've expect her to do motherly duties for the side chick kid. That was the universe way of saying to end the marriage that shouldn't have happened anyway since he stepped out on you.

I think the guy in story 1 will end up regretting this. Even if he finds his trad wife. Odds are he’ll meet someone also in their 20s that also _thinks_ they have it figured out. Then reality is going to backhand them both. It’s not the 50s, we certainly aren’t dealing with 50s prices *cries in gen z and only ever knowing inflation*
Idk if he will regret losing her specifically. But I do think he will regret turning his life upside down, for a dream some Bitter Bobby on the internet sold him. Im 26 and there’s so much I want to do before 30, that doesn’t include kids or marriage. But it will ensure I am ready for big decisions like that, should I decide to go down that path.
He’s 26, he doesn’t know about being a sole provider for a HOUSEHOLD. I don’t understand whyyy men listen to random men on the internet, or barbershop, or basketball court, etc for serious advice. Especially when most of the advice has the opposite effect of what they want. At most they should ask for hair, style, or gaming recommendations from each other.

Women always worked. The reason this worked in the 50s and 60s is because the rest of the world was in rubble post WWII. Well today other countries compete with the US.

The highest rate was 92 or3% on income over $100/K per yr, for only a couple of yrs, 90% was more common thru the 50s. & only on those in really high income bracket.

24:48 I think this woman is not the asshole for not wanting to take care of the affair child however this ultimatum is ridiculous. She shouldnt have stayed to begin with. Leave that man. He has an obligiation to take care of his child but to position this as child or me is crazy as hell. Girl go. You should’ve left before but you REALLY should now.

Fourth story: So many XYs demand a paternity test to make sure a child is his.
Those dusties need to come with some type of documentation showing how many children THEY have fathered, with whom, and what their relationship is with those children and the baby mamas.

Story 4, also, in situations like this ppl whine about how "affair child is the other kids' sibling". So what?! Only somewhat biologically. It doesn't mean they want anything to do with that child. Some don't care but others HATE that an affair child is related to them. They don't have to accept that child either. I hope ALL the children end up understanding what affairs do to families and that kids from the marriage AND the ones from the affairs are the ones to truly pay. Ppl act like if they can just get everyone to accept the situation, then they can pretend like they didn't really do anything wrong.
    🙄🙄🙄🙄
Having any children from an affair, even unplanned, is cheating on the kids you already have. At least that's exactly how it feels.

Part 1: There have been a few stories like this one where a wife/girlfriend has this trad wife bombshell dropped on them. I wonder if becoming a trad husband is become a currency among men? This might explain why some men have been dropping the trad wife bombshell. And, that also means his status amongst other men is far more important than his wife/girlfriend and kids he may have. No family deserves to play second fiddle to a man’s ego.
Part 3: This woman spoke volumes. Men have made being a woman a curse and they seem hell bent on keeping it that way. We keep fighting and stop treating patriarchy as if it is a rational position. Men want what they want and couldn’t care less how it affects women.

Story #2: he does NOT respect women. The fact he needs men to tell him he's a jerk makes him even more of a jerk. I also doubt the "he's a wonderful dad on the weekends." Sounds like he needs extreme praise for bare minimum effort. I'd dump him and keep it moving

2:48 Those are not friends. They’re brainwashed to think that trad wife life is expected and still feasible in this day and age. Ladies, please never set aside your future for anything or anyone. There is a high probability that your marital commitment may not be life long. I know more divorced single mothers and single widows, than I know trad wives. My Grand and Great Grandmother on my mothers side are the only Trad Wives I grew up knowing in my BC. They regretted it and told me so. When my Great Grandfather passed away, my Great Grandmother had to go back to work and she wasn’t happy about it. My Grandmother told me to get an education and career before marriage and children. She regretted not having a career. She was very intelligent and regretted not doing more with her life since children eventually grow up and leave. She did not have to work after my Step Grandfather passed but she had to move in with my Aunt to make it and she was in her late 50’s. She did not like losing her home and independence. On my Dad’s side my Grand and Great Grandmothers worked FT through to retirement. My Great Grandmother worked into her 70’s and also taught me that working was the expectation period. I should never be fully dependent on a husband as it simply wasn’t reliable. It was imperative that I be self sufficient. She had 3 husbands, 2 divorces and her 3rd she had to nurse as he passed away when she was in her early 60’s. They were actually on the way to divorce but he got sick and moved back in with her until he passed away.
