The tea set thief hates her - his sister hates her and his family is toxic. He gaslit her the entire time she searched for it. So glad she’s got her brothers and leaving his ass. She’s impressive!

@@LadyintheLake9 they are very codependent. They act so helpless when it comes to adulting. I remember someone gave me an 8 ball stress ball. My childish ex managed to burst the ball on the floor. He acted like he couldn’t find any cleaning products. After getting him something to clean with he wanted me to clean it up because he didn’t know what to do. I told him there are instructions on the bottle, read them.

He said ,,we were so happy until she left me" ...meanwhile he was cheating on her...Cheaters are like that, so entitled. Notice how HE cheated and then said that HE was betrayed and now making a victim of himself. Also notice how he treats his new wife. He disrespects women and completely lacks empathy. Glad that the ex wife found someone better...

    • @mariapaz6379
      @mariapaz6379 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +164

He very much was like "everything is perfect, i have a loving relationship, amazing kids and tons of friends". But the moment he started writing we discovered that he has no contact with his best friend for 3 years, that he cheated and got cheated on, that many friends hated him and he had a rocky relationship with his parents. If anything it sounds like op was in a state of delusion and denial.
And this is the case with many men, they convince themselves of an alternative reality and go on with life for years like that, until someone else breaks the fantasy. Like the best friend marrying the ex, or the fight with the current wife. Then its all "out of nowhere" and "suddenly they changed"

To be honest, I think he did it because he knew that it had value. It was a sentimental value to his wife, but real bone China is worth a lot! He gave it to his sister and her child for two reasons. The biggest one was the envy and dislike he felt for his wife because if he loved her in even the smallest way, the thought of stealing from her would have never crossed his mind. The second reason again envy and resentment that his wife and her family had traditions and family keepsakes that meant something to her, and his family possibly didn't. So not only was he stealing her tea set; he was stealing her joy, her family traditions, and something important to her and trying to take it for himself and his family. He was stealing her generational wealth as well as monetary wealth. He knew this,or else he would have just gotten the cheap one for his niece and kept it pushing...

I have a big burly man named "Tinesha" show up with my DD, at 8:30 at night. I always tell them to leave in on the mat but he insisted on using my RING. I told him he could leave it and go. He threw up his hands and walked down the sidewalk, then stood there a minute. I could see him through my side window and waited until he was gone. Then I called DD and reported him. I'm not sure how they are going to verify who it really is but I won't be ordering from them again.

Great illustration of them not having empathy and that it’s something that needs to be built up and worked on in order to maintain it just like a muscle. The fact that he was blindsided and hurt was all that mattered. Him destroying their marriage didn’t figure in at all- she just decided to leave out of the blue. 🙄

Life experience and reading other stories from women has me convinced that sooooo man men never evolve out of a toddler level mindset. They want their cake (toys) and eat it too. They want a harem (toys) to use and abuse without anyone else touching them, yet neglecting and abandoning each woman (toy) until he throws a tantrum seeing someone else wanting them. Rage level anger (tantrum) when things don't go their way. Only focusing on their own wants and needs and oblivious to those others (like a toddler). I am so damn tired 😔

The first story is a great example of men NEEDING the help we keep telling to get and it's not for us. It's so they don't continue with patterns of self destructive behavior to run away from past traumas but hey i guess having your bestie marry the ex you cheated on is better 🤷🏽‍♀️
For the second story I would have gone ballistic if something my nana gave me went missing because some man deemed it appropriate to give away my things. And we as women need to stop going back and forth with disingenuous men on the internet and let me talk to themselves.
The last story is partially why i dont use door dash anymore. Their customer service is trash and their delivery people are notorious for being unhinged and petty. Men using female profiles to do deliveries is a problem on uber eats too but I've started to report the accounts because it seems to happens more at night which makes me uncomfortable. I also have my deliveries set to "leave at door" to avoid any interactions.

I think if you are a single woman, you really must have "leave at door" for deliveries. Those apps hire such random people to do deliveries. Yes, they do background checks but even background checks don't catch everything and sometimes the most abusive people know how to get around them.

1st story, I knew the OP cheated and married his AP as soon as I saw the age difference. She started having kids when she was a minor. He admitted that he got with her because he felt like she "needed' him. It's funny how delusional he is; he sees himself as a victim & saw his ex moving on as a "betrayal." It's telling that his sister-in-law doesn't like him, & he doesn't get along with his parents. Now he knows how it feels to be cheated on. I doubt his 2nd marriage will last. He's going to end up alone with a lot of regrets. 2nd story, the husband and SIL are horrible people. 3rd story, These men are probably felons who are using their girlfriends or some female relative's identities to find work.

What a terrible husband. My husband has a tea seat he got from his grandmother that he used for tea parties with his 2 girls when they were younger and it would never cross my mind to do anything with it no even if we had a girl of our own, what he does with it would be his decision to.

"It's not just about a tea set, can't be" yeah no duh Sherlock, OP literally explained this in detail in her post, and and then spelled it out again in her reply. And he still had the nerve to act like she was wrong for wanting to leave "over a tea set" while he was right to deduce the obvious conclusion that her wanting to leave was not simply "over a tea set" like which is it? Maybe they should be asking their brother's wives for a therapist's number too

My dad who died when I was 18 had a WWII photo album. One day I was looking for it and it was gone. I was upset. I asked my then husband and he said he loaned it to his friend. I said he should have asked me first. He said will it was our “Steve” and wouldn’t I let him borrow it? If our friend asked me I would have said yes. But I was never asked. This was an item that is valuable to me. He has also used many things that I had bought to make my life easier and he’s ruined it. Like a bike trailer I bought so I could put the kids on it and start biking. He decided to use it then left it and my bike out in the rain. So sad that he could never respect me or my things.

I feel sorry for him. He is taking an active approach towards his healing. He should absolutely leave his current wife. She has 3 kids before him, cheated on him and had another baby that is not his. He will not be able to heal while he’s constantly inflicting himself with pain. Perhaps he believes he deserves it, but it’s time for him to accept the hurt he caused his ex, the pain his current wife is causing, close the door on both and walk into a new, happy life. Karma is paid. No need to stay in that space. It’s time for him to complete his healing and enter into a new relationship a restored man.

It’s wild how abusive people and those who defend them all have a pattern of pretending that whatever an abusive person has done isn’t as bad as the people who refuse to put up with them. Yet how often have we also seen men tell women to blame themselves when bad relationships get worse because the woman didn’t leave? So women who don’t forgive and leave are “overreacting” and being “emotional”, but women who stay must blame themselves for the abusive actions of others. Cute.
Idk how many women are gonna need to file for divorce for abusers, cheaters, and narcissists to accept the reality that actions have consequences and nobody owes them a second chance...but honestly, who cares? It’s not their victims’ job to “fix” them or change their mind.

There's this silly image i get in my head so often, like when men say 'choose better' or 'what was she wearing?' or 'what did she do to make him unalive / stalk / grape her?'.... here is the image in my head: a life sized pinball machine, and men are these random steel balls rolling around smashing into things. Everything is 'in their way'. And everything/everyone they smash into must just accept that this is their nature - and either get out of the way, anticipate their moves, or accept fault for being smashed into. It's as if this bumbling mayhem is their divine right.

Problems that revolve around a specific tangible thing/place/tradition/action (the tea set, in this case) that arise in a relationship, will end up tainting that once loved thing with a horrible memory that cannot be erased. The negativity hangs around the thing now, and what can you do? Sure, you can attempt to build new positive memories, but it will never be the same as it was before the problem! First story: That man is most likely a narc. They are often pretty clueless about other people's feelings, and doing actions that are inconsiderate of others. What type of person (man or woman) says they can go several months without even having a phone call from their so-called best friend? Narcs are really that obtuse because they are so extremely self-absorbed.
ETA: He mentions how felt like he was 'saving' his current wife. Narc men are concerned with HOW they appear to others, not how they ACTUALLY are. He needed a mirror to look at himself, not pointing fingers at other people.
ETA 2: I hope he gets better. Therapy had to happen for him to get better. I wish him all the best. 🕊

He basically married his SB. Of course she still messed around with other people. It also sounds like she experience CSA which is sad. But peep that he doesn’t want to get her help too

I feel so gutted by the tea set story. The nerve of someone to think it’s ok to push and pull someone emotionally like that and be trusted with anything. That relationship died even if she had stayed.

    1. He got everything he deserves period.
    2. She was correct to file for divorce. He’s a liar and has lied about many things he didn’t disclose. He had nothing to lose and lost her. Rightfully so. More women need to follow suit!
    3. Ladies need to complain to their local DA and Attorney General about the Door dash drivers. Eventually a class action lawsuit will result hopefully before anyone is harmed! Also report these foul males to Door Dash. Eventually federal prosecutors will get involved.

The tea set story, when u read additional comments from OP it turns out that other sentimental things she doesn’t use as often were found missing when she was packing to leave. Husband has likely been doing this for a while now.

Countless stories of men destroying their partner’s prized possession, it’s plants, clothes, expensive concert tickets… even animals (not a possession), either way the story is the same: they feel entitled to what’s yours and don’t like seeing you happy

Last story, pushing home more of the reasons on why we as women are much safer in the wilds with real bears than in the middle of civilization with non-bears.
