Thanks. It helped me a lot with my replacement today. I replaced the whole thing. The hard part was to replace the cap and rivets, but it fixed my problem. There is no spring in the roll.

Great video I , have to replace my motor it works usually, but is so slow. Sometimes it won’t retract until I get it started out manually.

Hi is the remote control receiver wired inside the van or is it located in the awning cassette/casing?

Would you be able to just replace the gears to beef them up if there stripped out
You didn’t drill out the rivets to keep the motor sealed. With dismantling the motor does it tend to let in moisture?
