I am from Leon, Nicaragua and I watch Scott’s channel to “feel the pulse” in Leon. I spend my time between USA and Leon, and I can tell you that it is obvious to me that he’s a pro when it comes to Nicaragua.

Great interview without all the nonsense. Hard to find an info video like this anymore. In the future, maybe address the issue of what is available OTC in Nicaragua versus the US. I remember traveling to Ecuador and my brother bought medications that were prescription only (in the US) right over the counter at a neighborhood farmacia.

I watched this as a canadian and 3500 is just mortgage or rent and utilities. We r more like 10000 a month food insurance and all the rest......we are planning to visit this year if our house sells....

getting my TESL and im moving there in January when my lease is up. im done with the U.S and california. Bay Area native here. took care of my family 2 kids and a wife for 5 years and i get one 4 hour visit a month. discgrace and i never did anything wrong or no charges against me. juddge was a prick. im done.

Love your videos. I applaud your decision to do what you are doing. My plan has been to move to the north (further north than most expats would move) and wait for my house to sell here...which is not happening in this economy... I am hopefully coming for a short trip in the next few months, looking for potential long-term rentals for the future. As you know, this is a very hard thing to get info on, especially in rural areas. If you have info or can facilitate some connections, I would be more than glad to pay for the help. $500 to $1000 for rent? Which Nicaragua are you talking about? Most people don't earn $500 a month where do they live? Obviously you live in another world....
