Wild Turkey 101 Rye and Pikesville are just plain delicious. We think they should be on every rye lover's shelf. We passed on a Wilderness Trail Barrel Proof Rye last time we saw it, 500 miles from home. We won't make that mistake again. Cheers, Jason!
Pikesville is always my best rye available n so flavourful rye . I strongly think that if heaven hill release this expression at 6 year at barrel proof this will blow away even thomas h handy .
The only rye for Me is Pikesville. Nothing compares to its viscosity, flavor and high proof. At 110, it sips like 90. Great stuff at $49.00 and not a Mixer - enjoy neat.
A new rye that I really like is Down Home Straight Rye Whjiskey, Finished in Toasted White Oak Barrels. It is Bottled by Whiskey Thief Distilling Co. It is 112 proof. I got it in Louisville Ky. My brother recommended it to me. It was about $69.
Uhhh...if/when Michter's do that again I'm making a prompt visit to Louisville! Guessing it's costly but honestly, picking and bottling your own bottle with your own name? Sign me up!

It used to be everywhere at a very fair price and now can't find it. RR, and WTR 81 are on the shelves just not the 101.

I'm going to stop at the Woodinville Distiller in July when I'm in Washington State. I'll be sure to try their Rye and likely bring some home. Lately, I've been really enjoying the Peerless Rye Barrel Pick I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a few bottles of.
I live in the area and have tried their various expressions especially the rye and have never liked a single thing they've done..😖. I don't even finish my sample but just leave...🥺 I have no idea why they are rated well...😖🤔

I will share with you the equation I use to determine how many bottles of whiskey I need. This equation has served me well. W=(H+1) where W is how many bottles of Whiskey I need and H is how many I currently have. I have had experts check this equation with mathematical induction and they have informed me the equation holds true 😉
Bro, I was at Fort Nelson 2 months before you in 2019 and they never mentioned anything about bottling your own rye whiskey. Super jealous. But they're very nice people and the bar on the 2nd floor of the distillery there has WORLD CLASS cocktails. Not to be missed for anyone visiting Louisville. Check out the Michter's Distillery at Fort Nelson. Like he said across from Louisville Slugger. I took the tour carrying a baseball bat 😆.

Yes I love lot 40. Just can't get it unfortunately.
43% is a good pour but they keep the full proof stuff for themselves
How does that michters compare to JDBP rye?
The JD is sweeter and definitely more of a proof monster but love the coffee and chocolate notes in the michters.
