I was managing a music store in the 90's, and I truly thought Dolores was a diamond in the rough with the grunge movement. The wave of that movement was so perceptually huge, but the real talent was so purely identifiable. You don't know what you've got until it is gone, and I will truly miss Dolores.
She was truly amazing..sadly,we lost some of the best of the 90s grunge movement far too early with the death of Dolores O’Riordan,Layne Staley,Kurt Cobain,Chris Cornell,etc..they will forever be among my favorites in rock music.I grew up in the 90s,these bands were the soundtrack of my life in my middle school and high school years..these fallen legends will forever have a special place in my heart
I love the music, but I can’t stand the label; “grunge.” I graduated from high school in 1992 and started college in August of that year. I hated the label even then. I was, and still am, absolutely positive that back then the “grunge” genre was was given its title by some middle-aged pansy of a guy who was everything that was the opposite of cool. I’ve always called it what I believed to be; still “rock,” but “alternative,” with some “punk-ish-ness.” I don’t even know what’s popular in today’s Top 40, and I don’t care. I get free SIRIUS XM, and it’s practically always on Lithium or '90s on 9. Although, the latter sometimes causes me to hear a snippet of Paula Abdul before I very quickly change the station.

heartbroken. cranberries got me through some very dark times growing up. Thank you for gracing the world with your brilliance and beautiful talent. Sing with the angels Deloris. Prayers with the family. I can't buy into intentional suicide that I have read about...
One of the most underrated deaths in music history! She didn’t get enough recognition when she passed as those like MJ, Selena, Whitney to name a few of the greats.
Not in my world. I cry almost everytime I hear her beautiful voice. I love her. I'm gonna get a tattoo dedicated to her. I can finally afford it now. She meant so much to me.
I'm in medical school and there is no way on this big blue earth that a 46 year old dies without the cause of death identified by a doctor or a forensic scientist Seems really sketchy to me
They did cite the medical examiner's report. She drowned in a bathtub with a .33% alcohol level. A lot like Whitney Houston, unfortunately. So sad and a huge loss for humanity! 😪😪😥
@Robin's GRYER How stupid are you? The cause of death was not released at that time, the post mortem hadn't even been done yet. What did you want them to do, take a guess at it just for you? Highly doubt you are any type of medical student & if you are then someone should warn patients about your lack of common sense before they're sent to see you. So stupid!🙄
@@aoifed8913😁I'm not a medical student but someone who used to work in a lab and assisted in autopsies . It doesn't take a genius to know the effects of too much alcohol in the body, specially when you're unconscious. Medical exams may take time to be finalized and even more time when you deal with an autopsy, coz it includes legal stuff and consent from the familym etc.
And this is why the Cranberries disbanded on April 2019 after their final album was released because they just cannot go on and continue without Dolores O'Riordan. May she RIP! 😢
Zombie- Dreams- Linger. All classic songs that will be around forever. And will be played on radio probably till the end of time. Songs that give you that feeling of being young and take you back to the good times in life.
Very sad. I suffer from the same conditions. It is hard. I already had problems but I too lost my parents and it really messes you up. so sorry for her children. I'm not a cranberries fan but I'm a fan of decent people. She'll be missed. R.i.p
I remember this, hearing it on the news. And even i only love reggae music, i whas shocked. Such a wonderfull person, died so young....R.I.P. Dolores cause your gone now, but never forgotten....
it’s a tragic and shocking news story because i heard that song before didn’t know her name but to see how it was a mysterious death with no possible cause right now at only 46 years old, must have been a heart attack, or stroke or cardiac arrest?
Didn't know that she's dead already .until I'm playing songs in you tube and hook me up in her song ode to my family. Oh so sad one of my fave band of 80's. And her song ode to my family.
We miss you so much v the cranberries my fav band in the 90 s i got my pops and sister sarah into the cranberries v my pops passed away on 16 th october 2017 v hey pops your in heaven say hi to delurous for me v legends live on v

From then I also like you specially the linger song., it reminds me of my peaceful love life wayback 2009.what a wonderful song with a great memory of my past... Rip to you idol.
A lot of number ones .songs .ya she went through a lot. She had a beautiful heart kind nice warm .hearted. rest in peace my dear friend 🧡. You will be missed by a lot of beautiful people 😢. Pals. 🙏✝️⭐️
People, you’ll never encapsulate a human’s essence or legacy with your platitudes and sorrows. Just play the music she created and appreciate that electricity that shoots through your skin and soul. That is what she was, an energy source that touched the world and anyone that hears that music it is now part of them, forever. We should all find our genius and share it with the world, selflessly, it is the light, it is what we all are.
*It's too bad??* How about saying something like it's sad and devastating? I mean. A mother of 3 tragically lost her life unexpectedly.. no compassion whatsoever from that guy.
"Zombie" was the song that introduced me to the Cranberries and it's really interesting seeing video footage shot in Belfast, Northern Ireland during The Troubles. Though one really scary wall mural shown in the video was one of two members of the Irish Republican Army in full uniform and wearing masks to conceal their identities. These IRA members were carrying guns and had the message "Prepared for peace, ready for war" written on either side.
I was at work in Seattle listening to the radio when my co-worker came in to the kitchen and said "DUDE, YOUR FAVORITE BANDS SINGER PASSED AWAY!" I froze and could not even work properly after that. All I could think was "NO, NO, NO...NOT AGAIN! LINKIN PARK, AUDIOSLAVE, STATIC-X....NO!"
Oh they arnt sure how she died...."Cranberries sells went up a million percent." Bet the rich music executives are real torn up abour that...seems like alot of the muscians die of strange circumstances all the time especially when they fall out of the mainstream money making spot light. .
The Sherlock Holmes in me still wonders if she was murdered. Only 5 mini bottles? I've known woman who drank 5 times that amount and never had a problem holding their liquor. Something just doesn't add up. I wouldn't be surprised if this "accident" takes a turn down the road.
Not that mysterious ......The Brits got more blood on their hands.....sad.....She will always be remembered for fighting back as we Farmers in America did . God Bless Her soul.

One of the most underrated deaths in music history! She didn’t get enough recognition when she passed as those like MJ, Selena, Whitney to name a few of the greats.
yep.. she was takin out the more you look at it and it makes more sense
Not in my world. I cry almost everytime I hear her beautiful voice. I love her. I'm gonna get a tattoo dedicated to her. I can finally afford it now. She meant so much to me.
Indeed
She was the 90s awesome voice and spirit!!
Not only in 90, still she is

I cried for hours when I first heard this. Their music had been a big part of my upbringing.
And this is why the Cranberries disbanded on April 2019 after their final album was released because they just cannot go on and continue without Dolores O'Riordan. May she RIP! 😢

I'm almost 2 months late on the news but it hurts all the same
She was even prettier as an adult woman than she was in her 20's.

Pray for the bliss of dead.

If you’re going to quote a song from a recently dead singer, at least get the lyrics right.

Why is this being a reported by a toothless former athlete and some flunky..Jesus Christ. She deserves so much more. We pray for you.
😢😢😢😢⚰
I didn’t know this happened
Reminds me of Freddie Mercury being the lead singer who died
46 is a rough age even if you’re not famous
