I liked the attitude of the German guy "you don't need to be fluent... just trying..." For me this is important when you live abroad, it's a way to show respect to the locals
Great job! Please ask more about their method of learning foreign languages; some tips would be useful. Anyway, keep doing, nice approach, and a good mood. P.S. I guess, there's an error in the title ('How many...?").
Thank you for your support! I will try ask more about some tips how to learn the language. And u r right, there is a mistake in the title, didn't noticed that🫣
yeah, it almost impossible to get rid of the accent, if you are not a kid and not living in the english speaking surrounding everyone has an accent, even all English native speakers sound different;) For me personally I like to notice different accents it is so fun.
The norwegian girl said that she can speak a little of Spanish, and Spanish it's similar to portuguese, You could have handled the conversation there, to find out if knowing Spanish can understand Portuguese, you wasted the opportunity.
It is better to ask that question Spanish people, and she know Spanish a little bit, there is no reason to ask her that question. But I like your idea, thanks!
@@TravelTongues In the end of the video you ended up asking her if she knew Portuguese when she never told you that she knew it, so there was no reason to ask her that either, and there doesn't have to be any reason, that's what the dynamics of knowing how many languages a foreigner knows is all about. If she tells you that she knows a little about a language, asking her what made her learn that language or if she would like to be fluent in that language would make the conversation more dynamic, it's just advice.
@@bonomomusic8701 That's good advices thanks, I will use them in my next videos. And about why I asked her if she know some Portuguese, because we were talking if people need to learn the language of the country where they going to travel and she said it would be good to learn some basic phrases, and so as she is in Portugal right now that was the reason why I asked her about Portuguese, if she know some basic words.
@@TravelTongues just tips to energize your conversations. For example, after having asked her if it is necessary to learn the language of the country you are visiting, I would have asked her: since you know some Spanish, would it be easier for you to understand Portuguese? This way you delve into two topics at the same time, in his knowledge of Spanish and if she knows Portuguese.
@@TravelTongues Second tip to make your videos more dynamic: do not leave your audience with doubts and use the information that your interviewees give to manage the conversation, for example when the Norwegian girl told you that she knew a little Spanish, I was left with the doubt of why he learned Spanish and how he learned it, that question was never answered, and it was information that you could have played with a little
