I was boutta blow my Xbox up but I see we’re all in this together
Had some sign in issues suddenly, so I did the reset, and some how it made it worse. The Xbox was operating very poorly, so I reset again, still had sign in issues, so then I removed the account, and it now won't allow me to add the account back. I click add account, and I get a loading screen for about 10 seconds, and then it just disappears and does nothing. I've tested my connection too and everything is good.

I managed to fix it, if you can call it a fix. The Xbox was connected to the internet, and it claimed to have a strong signal, but I decided to test the connection a different way by putting the Xbox directly next to the modem and connecting it to wifi, and it worked first try. I've had no issues since, and I also moved it back to its previous location and have a very strong signal. I have a feeling that I was getting to much interference from another source, possibly even multiple sources around my house and even in neighboring houses, but its been working fine since then.
On the historic day of July 2nd 2024, gamers rushed to this video to fix an annoying problem. Little did they know, it was caused by a xbox update and that they would have to wait until tomorrow to game on.
Millions of gamers are now disappointed at Microsofts incompetence once again. They can't make a single update on anything without it breaking something.

I wouldn’t try either of those first actually. Best thing to try first is be sure your console is set up under sleep and startup go to sleep mode set to standby only so you can then check the box for when Xbox is off turn off storage then set back to energy saver. Now go to network settings. Now hit full shutdown from that same menu don’t use the controller Xbox button. When it starts back up go to your network settings and hit advanced then alternate max address then clear restart. Now when it starts up if your able to sign in run a speed check and what not to see how your nat and whatnot is looking. If you still can’t sign in then you continue to steps such as deleting your account. Before doing that be sure to figure it all out tho don’t wanna be stuck dealing with there support or lose anything purchased.

What you can do though is go offline sign in to a account if you have any more then go back online and you should still be signed into that account

OK, anyone who see this, go to settings and in the general area hit network settings. Then select the tap that says go offline. After that just sign in and it should work and then go back to settings and hit go online.

For me I just went offline, logged into the account (let me perfectly) then went online and everything works great. Don’t recommend removing the account as a lot of people are having problems

I believe also that this issue can be tied to having weak wifi. If you are playing under weak wifi signal it can also somehow interfere with signing in. I manually went offline and was able to sign in to my profile.
Shouldn't matter when your xbox isn't even connected to the wifi. The fact it takes forever to even sign in is trash.
I went offline to n it let me in but then went back online n it kicked me out right away out of my acc it been like 6 days

I just bought a Xbox series s today and I've tried creating two Microsoft accounts and two outlook email accounts and every time I tried logging in from the first time too it just says login with your Microsoft password with red words after pressing enter???

If you’re seeing this on July 2nd 2024, you can fix it by going to your network settings and pressing the “go offline” button, then sign in to your account after you sign in, then click it back to online. Hope this helps

I tried everything on this video. I was on the phone with Xbox support for an hour troubleshooting. Nothing worked. He asked how long I had the Xbox, and I told him a few days. He asked where I bought it, and I told him Walmart and he said to just return it and get my money back. Phone call ended, and I retried everything for another 30-40 minutes. Nothing worked, and was just about to put it back in the box for returning, and I tried one last thing. I switched from 5 GHz to 2.4Ghz and it worked perfectly. My series x said my connection was good with 5GHZ but as soon as I tried signing in it said I was basically screwed. Tried 5GHZ on my series s and same thing until I switched back to 2.4GHZ. Hope this helps.

I didn’t watch this video. I watched another one and then the other video it told me to sign out of my Xbox account and now I have been crying and weeping for hours because I can’t get my Xbox account back. Had to factory reset my Xbox and sign back in. I wish I had watched this.
I deleted my account and it didn't work, now I can't get it back, the correct way is to disconnect the xbox from the internet and then log in to your account and then reconnect to the wifi, I tried this with my friend's account and it worked, but now I can't get my account back, I want help please, im out of patience from this shit
Update After three hours of trying to find solutions, turn off the router and pull the Xbox cable, wait 1:00 -1:30 minutes and turn them back on together,turn on your xbox and press add new and then the problem is solved, no thanks for the duty

I have got kicked out of games 🎮 and lost around 2,000 gamer score do to this glitch Microsoft does not fix its a simple fix for xbox but they do not fix the or patch this error but they make sure to watch achievement hunters it tells me sorry you need to sign in with a controller or you have signed in from the dash board and need to sign in from you're controller or a sign in change occurred and boots me out of a game and signes me back in lol really Microsoft fix you problems and software covid has nothing to do with fixing a problem with a program what happened is Microsoft fired thousands of employees and they need coding employees and they will not tell that because it will make customers angry but customers are switching to Playstation due to the fact that Playstation does not release a product till its finished Microsoft can careless
