Hunterkautz, it’s a real thing that chicken nuggets taste better when shaped like Dinos! Thanks for tagging along this week for the show and we look forward to the feedback. 🤝 Extremely appreciative of the tips Kaleb laid out and look forward to watching them come to fruition for him this fall!

Great info. We do a lot of kill plots here in the south. Canopy, no rain, perfect for seed to soil contact plots. 🤙🏼

Longbeardlife, you didn't waste anytime getting over here! Thank you much for watching and kill plots are one of the absolute best. Sure it may not change how many deer you hold on a given season but when you need the right deer in the right spot... it can be all of the difference. Have a great night and we will look forward to seeing you back next Monday. Have a great night!

WoodlandGangsta, we're just appreciative you're here and enjoying the episodes. Kaleb is as passionate of a whitetail deer hunter that walks this planet and we're proud to call him a friend. We're sure excited to get back into the woods and begin another season of chasing memories and fun stories. Season 9 of Chasing November is coming in hot in August and then boom... it'll be here. Have a great day and thanks again for following along.

Good info. Nice easy to listen to presentation.
I seldom hunt until late October so I rely on PPT and pumpkins for that time frame.
If I planned on hunting earlier, the plan would be more Radish/ DER.

Dave, much appreciated to have you here watching tonight! Definitely some awesome tips in here from Kaleb and we look forward to watching him put them to practice this fall
Pumpkins is definitely not one that tends to be a popular option. Tell us more! What do you notice most effective about them? Radish is a great mid/late September & early October addition for sure.
Thanks again for the comment and we hope to see you back next Monday!

Pumpkins/ squash (Acorn and buttercup) make a fantastic foodplot.
Been doing it for about 15 years .
What's nice about them is the deer don't seem to bother them much while growing, they can withstand a fair amount of weed pressure once they get up and growing.
Hope you fellas try some next year.

In the past I have broadcasted turnips and clover together. Clover came back nicely in spring (which is my goal next year)with the turnips acting as a cover crop in fall. I have a drill now- how would you go about mixing the seeds to determine appropriate seeding rate? Thank you.

@greggreg0827 thanks for watching man. Depending on how your soils are and how well frost seeding works in your area.. I’f I was in your shoes I would drill the brassicas and come back late winter/early spring to frost seed. I talked about a late spring planted clover plot which was actually brassicas this past fall but the guys showed a few clips of how it looked this spring. If you miss that frost seeding window you can always come back once the soil is fit and drill it in. I have a few plots for work where the goal is brassicas this fall and clover next spring. It’s a blend monsterbuck specializes just for that scenario (Rut Greens plus cold climate). Hopefully that helps!

Great job on the information in this video. I just learned how to do another food plot if i dont have alot of money left if i find another place to hunt. Its hard here in Georgia on finding permission farms. If you dont have alot of money its hard too get them. But im not going to give up. Im going to keep asking around till i find a place to hunt. Kaleb I have to say I don't think that velvet buck and the one you had last year are the same. The one last year had a high beamed narrower frame with towering G2s, the velvet one this year has short G2s that are almost finished and a lower beamed wide frame with longer G3s.
Great video and can't wait to see how it finished out.

Garret_chasingthedreamtv4480, certainly time will tell on things. Either way, that buck is going to be a great deer and soon enough we will know for sure! It's a similar situation to the 9 Josh has on camera. Now that deer has been confirmed by a sequence of notches in the right ear noticeable in last year's pictures and recent velvet photos... but that's just being crazy. Super thankful you took the time to watch the episode and keep on crushing it this summer between the fish and incredible photos. Have a great week ahead brother!
