Not surprised by the Grammys total disrespect towards BTS again, playing the wrong video shows their complete disregard, they have no intention of ever rewarding them. But BTS are worth so much more, they are better than any awards and they certainly don't need the Grammy's to validate them

It's so upsetting how as an Asian American, these Western, highly valued, institutions simply refuse to show any respect to artists. This doesn't just go to BTS. Even though I'm not really a fan of other artists, many fandoms and artists have also called the scammys out as being a total flop. The only thing that gets me sad is seeing how excited BTS was when they got nominated the very first time, and how they now know that the reason they lost wasn't because of their skill, but because the scammys are corrupt and also used BTS for views.

I am embarrassed an ashamed of the way BTS has been treated over the last few years. Their award record puts most of the artists to shame. I heard none of the members were there and turned it off. I love you guys and am very proud of you all. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Ok but it's actually worse than what you're reporting. For anyone to be considered for a Grammy, they have to "apply". You pay a sum and you submit a package that includes anything you want considered. So if it was best Album Cover Art they'd have to submit a portfolio of high def, glossy photos. For Best Music Video, HYBE had to submit the actual official MV and it would have included things like: names, ages, roles in the band in a little blurb about each member, a paragraph explaining why they should be considered, and any awards the MV has won with details (like photos or press blurbs). The Grammys doesn't do any research themselves unless someone does get the nomination. Even then all they would do is confirm the details given in the package. So for them to do what they did they actually had to go out of their way to provide misinformation. They figured that they've seen the worst ARMY can do. But each time we held ourselves in check because the boys performed/presented/were excited about it. This year Namjoon said onstage during Indigo performances "I've heard there are rumors about the Grammys but honestly, why give a shit?" Between that and I suspect they wouldn't have performed without Jin anyway, the Grammys felt snubbed and pulled this BS. They're a bunch of overly wealthy sexist, racist white dudes. I'm with Namjoon, why give a shit about those idiots?

@Wild Lotus because in the industry, the award itself has prestige. No matter how fucked up the process is, people in the industry still use it as the ultimate show of success. Worldwide peoplr regard it on a level above any other award show. It wasn't until recent years that we got a good look at how they run this shitshow. ALL AMERICAN award shows work like this! Look at the Academy Awards, Halle Berry was the first black woman to win and that happened in the early 2000s. The Grammys and the AMAs started this bullshit with black and Latino artists years ago when Hip-hop and R&B were just dominating the music scene. Those designations I just made were actually created by these award shows! They didn't want any person of color to be competing on the same stage as white artists, and even when white, preferably men over women. So it wasn't just "Best rap album" they split it into genders. To this day, they only hold the "major awards" in the evening. During the daytime is when they do anything non white, they separate them into categories and then shove them off primetime TV airing. For years and years they didn't even broadcast the other awards, they just made a list you could go check online. That's what they attempted to do with BTS by making a Kpop category until we threw an absolute fit, then they added them into the main categories. It's utterly disgusting, but as long as the boys wanted it, I wanted it for them. I'm glad they can finally see what a waste of money it is.

Just another ugly moment .I discovered BTS three years ago when I was so tired of everything going on here.Hateful disgusting people making life miserable for most of us. I really couldn't care less about that show, and I live here in the US. It's almost a joke. BTS has ARMYs respect and love and I'm pretty sure all those in the industry who vote calculating every move to not give an inch of their power and recognition to our boys, will do anything to have an ARMY like us. Hi Guys, fan of boybands past here. I was and still am a huge fan of Nsync even though they broke up long ago. I have tons of respect for BTS. This video popped up on my feed. Wanted to warn you all to expect this from the Grammys. They will feast on BTS popularity for views but never reward them. If you look at their past track record with boybands, none of them have ever won. NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, One Direction... None have won grammys. If BTS wins one, consider it a miracle. Grammys are and have always been and always will be severely out of touch. Their clear hatred towards any and all boybands is ridiculous.

I remember how Zayn Malik criticised the Grammys in 2022. I believe these awards aren't given only on the basis of caliber and popularity. There is something fishy.
they need to be honest, they wanted them to perform something that fits what everyone else performed, meaning the theme needed to be demonic. if they performed something that looks like satan and demons in it, they would've won it. the grammys are known for disrespecting people. they disrespect christians who are sitting in the crowd, they use to let everyone perform, including christian artists and now, they only allow christian singers to acccept the grammy award and say a few words and that's it. no performance no nothing. and the fact they make it demonic and blaspheme christianity, they do it because they know that there are christians in the building.I stopped watching the grammys since 2014. i haven't watched it since then. BTS music and music videos got to be the most clean music and music videos there is to see. that's in my opinion.
