If you don't get your name out there on a personal level and be willing to party with them and share some drinks and food, you're not a consideration. Some people deserve a Grammy, but they just aren't willing to hang out in the "right spaces" to get that shot and they'll be overlooked. It sucks because it's not strictly about talent as it should be. I hate that side of the industry where they take networking so heavily into account. Each member of the music academy gets a list of the artist nominated in their respective category and then vote. Then those votes are calculated to determine the winner. I think what most don't realize is that not all members of the academy are musicians, many are record executives, producers, etc. Also, BTS and Bang Shiyuk are voting members of the music academy.

Yes, they were robbed of the Grammy! They are usually put towards the end of the show to keep people watching and then they don't win. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't show up this year. Other Artist were upset they didn't win as well. I still have hope that our BTS Loves will win!

I am a music fan for many decades. Harmony and song writing matters the most when receiving a Grammy. A catchy tune also helps but the music has to hit the heart strings. A massive audience and other cultures have to be influenced by the music. The amount of streams and fandoms is not considered. A panel of artists peers are chosen and they decide who gets a Grammy. Example - Drops of Jupiter by Train - this song swept the Grammys the year it came out. Go back and research each song that won a Grammy.
I have also been a music lover for decades. Just recently started listening to BTS. I'm not very interested in awards, but I liked their song. Watched the duo that won. Well, sex sells, and a 3-way really sells. It's disappointing, especially when she almost missed being present to receive it because she was in the restroom. So upsetting to see her still putting herself back together with the trophy in her hand. So anybody can hook up if their solo careers aren't working. It sounded weird how these duos are created. It's not like Simon and Garfunkle.

They did have judges. There were nominating committees that decided which submissions got selected to be in each category. The rules have changed and all members have a vote.
Receiving a Grammy solidifies an artists musical ranking. The Grammy depicts the superior musicality, harmony, song writing, and lyrics of a song. The artist has truly made a difference in the music industry when they win a Grammy. In addition, they use the title to sell more expensive tickets, albums, merchandise etc…receiving a Grammy is an honor.
Suga wants Suga gets it's happened over and over I believe this is their year, of course it will be shared with Coldplay but since they're all army's it's a bonus.

I don't exactly know criteria used for judging but sincerely trust d Grammys as an award giving body will be fair. Voice quality, songs melodies and lyricism, and audience support and impact/patronage are quite essential in evaluating deserving artists.
