I love how free you are and how you love on your locs! That's how I am, I literally just started my two strand twist on Jan. 15 and I can't keep my hands from touching them with love. Every other video I saw the girls are so strict with their hair.
Oh yes, that’s one of the reasons I loc’d up 😂 to be free. I recently started putting more water and oil in them and wow… they are soft and feel moisturized.
I’m glad I stumbled on your video 😊 my hair is growing out from a tapered and I wanted two strand and I’m happy to see yours I’m literally doing my hair as I type
YEEESSSSSSSS QUEEN. I LOVE YOUR LOCS. They are gorgeous. Im considering starting my loc journey after being a loose natural for 18 years. Yes i agree don't compare journeys bc Comparison is thief of joy.
Thank you for the encouragement I have been wearing two strands for the past two weeks. I had a consultation today with my loctician. I scheduled my starter loc appointment for 3/29. Im excited to start my journey.@@cacherichey
12-17-23 4 months in the game and I'm loving the progress no styles yet i think i will wait to mt 1 yr 8-17-24 . i was told not to was them but like you about a month i washed them and now no stocking cap just in the shower and let the mist hit it and I'm in love.
I'm excited to start my loc journey! I'm waiting for my hair to grow out, it's quite low right now. My hair is too frizzy and my hair styles don't last very long and sometimes I can't be bothered with my hair. I think locs will fit me.
Lol me too, I went with the 2 strand twist method and I don't know how many I have but I finger parted mine as I wanted that fuller look. I'm not concerned with definition of parts.
Hey Cashe, I've been on my Loc Journey since September 15 of last year. I also started with the two-strand-twist. After watching countless videos on locs, I jumped in with both feet. So many videos on does and dont's wills and wonts. Lol. Don't do this, do this, this will grow your locs or will make your locs lock faster, this won't make your hair lock faster. I just had to finally say my journey is for me and me alone and my hair is my own. I will say I found a product that I truly like created by a person with locs. It's called loclicious. It's very light and does not cause build up. I've been using that since I started and I really like it. They are natural ingredients so that helps too. I've subscribed to your channel because I like your whole vibe. Your locs are pretty too. Thanks for sharing your journey
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUBSCRIBING ❤️ you’re going to enjoy the Loc journey and I hope you stick with it. Yes, everyone will experience something different when it comes to locs… I listen but I’ll always try my own thing 😂 thank you for sharing that product, I’ll have to look into that.
Thank you. You are beautiful and you look so young, I was surprised you have kids. You look amazing in locs. I have a three strand at the moment.... I'll turn it into two.
Your locs are gorgeous!!! I love your hair color ! I started my first set of locs with two strand as well , but recently just did coils . Let’s stay loc’d 💖
@@naturalnicole40 thank you, I used adore and I know it was a ginger color but I don’t exactly which one. However, this is a faded color after a year of it being colored.
Beautiful hair and it matches with your skin color making you look very pretty. I'm not a locks person but your hair makes me look at locks differently.
Thank you 🙏🏾 I understand tho, for the longest I was the same way and then they just grew on me a little after my son wanted to Loc up. I think after taking care of his hair and watching the growth I fell in love and wanted to try it for myself.
My loc anniversary is April 2, 2022. I’m happy to be 7 months along my loc journey. I enjoyed your video and your vibe. New subscriber here! My tip is to wear a silk or satin bonnet to bed every night. A silk scarf will also protect your locs from lint and from losing moisture from absorption by cotton fabrics but a bonnet gives your locs room to move around and I believe this encourages your hair to loc faster.
I love ❤️ your locs! I have been doing my research and watching videos like you and I am looking to do locs. Like you I have been a loose natural since 2008 and I have done it all as well and I’m tired of doing just hair all the dog on time. My question is I heard you mention that you condition your hair and I have heard don’t condition it because of the lint, now I heard you say people told you don’t do this and that and you did the opposite, so how does conditioning work out for you? My hair is tapered on the sides and back so I will be starting out line yours. I was thinking it would not look like but looking at yours it’s gonna look nice
It’s going to be beautiful and I think you should go for it. I strongly believe in trying any and everything to see what works for you. If it doesn’t work, stop doing it, but if it does… even better. I personally condition my hair more then shampoo it and it’s just fine. I started from a tapered haircut and love the layered look. Go for it, you won’t regret it!
@@cacherichey thank you! I now have 2 strand twist in to see if I’m gonna like this and continue on. Thank you for the advice, and letting me no that conditioning is just fine, I just need to make sure I get all of the conditioner out and if I don’t I can do a apple cider vinegar rinse
I just started my loc journey a couple weeks ago by 2 strand twisting my hair. I don't know what I'm doing but I'm going to try them out. Trying to figure out how to find a stylist in my area to help me on this journey. I'm looking forward to you're next video New subscriber
New subscriber here!! 🎉 Yes I agree, I’m learning my own way, out of curiosity do you braid and band? I haven’t washed mine yet but I think I will braid and band at first
No I haven’t tried that, to be truly honest with you since I’ve Loc my hair I have only worn it exactly how it is in the video 😂 I just recently tried my first style and it was just a half up, half down look.
I started mine August 8 rocked em a month loved em but I've really fallen inlove with thicker(wick) locs so I redid them. I went from 80 to 60 ish locs
Blessed solar return, my sincerest wish is that your life will continue to be filled with many more years of elation. May this day be an occasion for you to realize all of your desires for elation and manifest marvelous things. I wish you tremendous success in all endeavors you undertake soon, and may God continue to bless you abundantly. Have a blessed day

Yesss love this video i just started my loc journey i am two months loc yesterday and got my second retwist today love love my babies i had four problem child and my new loctition fixed all four of them your locs r beautiful ❤️
I used the adore hair color a year ago and it was a ginger color. Over time it became this color. I don’t remember the two colors I used, I’m sorry… I just walked in the beauty store seen two pretty ginger colors and couldn’t decide so I mixed them and prayed to GOD it worked.
Thank you 😊 so months before I loc’d up I attempted to color my hair a ginger color and it didn’t turn out right… but I left it and now it’s lighter. I’m not sure if it’s from fading, the sun, chlorine or what.
You don’t have to go to a salon, if you can find anyone to neatly do small to medium size two strand twist in your hair then save you some money. I did my daughters hair myself but it dis help that I had someone else do the back for me.
I just loc’d up on Sept 15! Can’t wait to continue this journey ☺️
Congratulations and definitely stick with it ❤
