God this master peice deverses some credit more than just a few downloads from iTunes. It's been a long time since I've heard any remix not shit-up the song but actually makes you wana listen to it more.
This song is absolute fuego. Keeps the technological, digital feel of the original while adding a sense of cinematic, dramatic urgency with the addition of the orchestral elements. This remix is my favorite song to program to, when it comes on in my playlist I know I'm about to go off
Haha yeah. It gives me motivation to get through a problem (especially when trying to solve and issue and debugging a piece of code). I make sure that I solve the problem by the end of the song
I am amazed. I am a big fan of Moby, and later on I got into Daft Punk, and I bought all of DP's albums, but I prefer Moby, DP's songs are amazing, but to me they can get a tad repetetive. I of course bought the Tron Legacy soundtrack, and of all the tracks, I enjoyed Son of Flynn the best, along with Solar Sailor, Outlands and Rinzler. I was suprised when I heard Moby was going to remix Son of Flynn in particular, as it was a favourite of mine. Amazing song, brilliant remix.
@MegAdventureBoy The grid was under a different OS, not compatible with Apple cra... ahem... stuff. Even the game Tron 2.0 being released in Mac OS wasn't enough. Linux devs can go to the Grid, though, since it can be made compatible just just a few tweaks. And windows user just go anywhere, they have Grid free pass.
@grovyle05 This is likely due to a sampling rate problem. For example, a 44.1kz audio file fed into a program or converter that thinks it's 48khz causes a subtle speedup. The table is on Wikipedia if you want to compare the the speedup of this (ratio of video length to song length on album) to the ratios of adjacent sampling rates in the table to figure out which ones got switched. Not worth the effort though.
Just search it. Glassworks. You will have heard that piece. I was expecting discordance and silence years ago in my ignorance so didn't listen to him. He sounds like a great person whenever he is interviewed.
as my brain INHALES every VIBRATION of this RIDICULOUSLY THROBBING PULSATING MUSIC,,I fall to my knees and CRAWL to touch the warmth of the BASS PENETRATING all the intricate elements as the INSTRUMENTS open up and EMBRACE this INTOXICATING masterpiece ,,,absolutely geniuses with spectacular NEURONS and SYNAPSES that SWIM in their brains,,,a treasure to behold ,,,, for this galaxy to relish,,,BEWILDERING and BEWITCHING
@Tanzmenn It's not supposed to sound like Daft Punk! It's a REMIX album...It's NOT Daft Punk. The concept with a remix album is that artist take another artist's work and makes it their own. Go listen to Phoenix's remix album. Its wonderful what Animal Collective and Alex Metric did with their songs. You have to open your mind to new music.
@killcreek420 No this time its different. As you know, technology grows exponentially, and thats why we will live our life beyond the grid in a short amount of time, maximum 40 years...
@MithranArkanere The terminal looked like UNIX to me. I find it interesting how I can use GNU like UNIX... except GNU doesn't have the secrets that UNIX does. And if you go to emacs you can clearly see that it says it's GNU based. I never understood why that was. So is it UNIX or GNU?
Tron Legacy, Daft Punk and Moby? Yes I've died and gone to heaven!
Moby and Daft punk are such musical legends.This obviously isn't either of their best work but it's still pretty damn good.
Epic remix... it is the music of great and heroic deeds
God this master peice deverses some credit more than just a few downloads from iTunes. It's been a long time since I've heard any remix not shit-up the song but actually makes you wana listen to it more.
Jesus Christ! Daft Punk, my favourite band! and Moby, my favourite artist, smushed together in one of my favourite songs!
I love Tron! The movie and the soundtracks.

Moby does it again on this one. Great work.

@Tanzmenn I completely agree. I absolutely love Daft Punk but this album wasn't what I was expecting. It isn't like the Daft Punk that I love.

3:58 Best part for me

Sehr gut
This should be used in the sequel.
I like how it gets Phillip Glassy towards the end.
I'm a Philip Glass noob. Can you give me a selection of works to check out?
Just search it. Glassworks. You will have heard that piece. I was expecting discordance and silence years ago in my ignorance so didn't listen to him. He sounds like a great person whenever he is interviewed.
@unavailablepanda dude! clasic!
@Tanzmenn I am a fan,but your RIGHT
makes you feel like a netrunner
EPIC!!!!!!

@SeveranLicht I can do nothing more than agree on this, it's as you said, an outsider of the album, but nonetheless. An awesome tune :)
This is so fucken awesome!!!!!!!!
@ZelViuZ this song kicks ass
@Claudioman2009 oh men ... Poor Steve !!!
With a sample of Kraftwer at the beginning
Kraftwerk*
@darkcam93 I think you meant to say eargasm... in which case, I agree.
@MegAdventureBoy Steve Jobs was not compatible so it was erradicated. That´s the problem with apple products...

How is it possible to NOT like this?!?!?! I dun get it .___.
"You'd like it if you had robot ears"
@xMaGiiSK Just like our flying cars that should of arrived ,oh I dunno, 11 years ago now?
@6spro meant to be a line from the film for people with dyslexia
@blasterchief123 Darn you, I was just going to comment saying the exact same thing! :P Props for being perceptive.

It shifts form Daft punk to Haz Zimmer
If this song was a Lama, it would be a really good Lama..
The Son of Flynn....expert video game player, or expert bowling player?
@MegAdventureBoy
Why does apple have to infect eveything? -_-
Not even Tron is safe.
if this song was a demon i'd call dan and bill on the phone and winston and egor through the matrix of my mind.

Lost my mind at 1:14
