Jenny, I'm absolutely thrilled that there's NO cancer in your brain! I was diagnosed with stage 3 parotid gland cancer in 2005 at age 43 and I'm still here! It's a rare cancer that does not respond to chemo, at all, so there was a big chance that it would recure. (I had surgery and radiation.) My son's-in-law grandmother had the same cancer and grade as you (it had also spread to her brain) and she lived 10 yrs after her treatment and after her treatment she felt great again. And she didn't die from the cancer (she was elderly at diagnosis) so there's always hope for lots of life left after a stage 4 diagnosis 🥰

Hey there dear Jenny, Haha, I realized that I wrote in response to the last video, but typically, i got going, and I stopped, thiinking I would paste my thoughts into a document and edit it as not to be sooo long...but I never went back to it! Tomorrow I will dig up the bits that are the more interesting ones, and come back. You music reminds me if a rather jazed out surf music (I grew up body surfing tons in Corona Del Mar, where I stayed summers with my dad and my best friend. We of course spent a lot of time in the surrounding towns Balboa/Newport, Laguna. Among my happiest childhood memories. Swollen feet is commonly treatment related edema. A real DRAG. If you end up with that diagnosis, there are massuses /PT's that work especially with that. Wishing you fewer symptoms, and a good week! Up here in the redwoods, the owls are hooting; how I love that. The missing tooth is fabulous and your children are adorable. I so fully believe in the way you are including them in this experience; as I have specialized in families with children who have cancer, I have seen those parents who make the same choice, and those who have chosen not to include their children in anything "negative." The playact "normal," and hope that they're shielding their kids from difficult things. KIds know, that's the thing, thay know when something is amiss, and and they can imagine things much worse than they should, or need to, including -- besides worrying about some health thing, they don't understand -- unrelated ideas, such as "What have I/ we done wrong?" "Why is mom going away so much?" "Does she hate me?" "It's easy to see -- they hate me; the want nothing to do with me." "My mom and dad don't love me any more." Can imagine all sorts of things. Their inclusion is wonderful...they ARE, at levels appropriate to each one, part of it, part of the family, not being left out. That is the fibre of a strong and united family. Anyway, your two are lucky to have both of you as their mom and dad. ♥️ And see!? No matter what, I end up writing a ton! Sorry for the "homework!" I am so happy to hear the good news that you are NED ( no sign of cancer) in your brain. That is so relieving, and definitely answer to prayer. I too have been on a cancer journey, stage 4 breast cancer HER2 positive. I've had 6 rounds of very aggressive chemo, that had no mercy at all on me. Then 18 rounds of immunotherapy, and, presently I am recovering from surgery (single mastectomy) I'm also praying that my results comes back NED and that I can finally get back to having a life.

I'm a huge fan of Outlander. Sam Heughan is a great actor, so is Caitriona Balfe who playes Claire.And Brianna. And Murtagh. And aunt Jocasta...I loooove them all!! It's a great show . Watching it all over at the moment,being at the fifth series.

I am so happy to hear the good news that you are NED ( no sign of cancer) in your brain. That is so relieving, and definitely answer to prayer. I too have been on a cancer journey, stage 4 breast cancer HER2 positive. I've had 6 rounds of very aggressive chemo, that had no mercy at all on me. Then 18 rounds of immunotherapy, and, presently I am recovering from surgery (single mastectomy) I'm also praying that my results comes back NED and that I can finally get back to having a life.
