this addon is incredible and i genuinely and truly think it's safe, at this point, to say that Todor is by far THE best blender tutor on the internet. his tutorials are so easy to follow, yet so detailed... every step. rig anything with rigify is still the best thing i spent money on since learning blender.
@@RomboutVersluijs Right, Population is great because of the assets but the crowd functions of Procedural Crowds is better imho. So assets = Population, crowd creation = PC at least right now. I talked to the Population guys and I know they are working on improving the crowd system.
I'm kinda struggling with this. I've added 6 different customs to my crowd but it just seems to cluster them all together with their own type in the crowd, rather than mixing it up to make it look randomised. Am I doing something wrong?
Hmmm… I followed your directions exactly but when I add crowd to my Bézier curve they only walk in place on top of each other on the beziers point of origin. Any ideas?
@@RomboutVersluijs Oh, under the hood it applies the scale and then it rescales the Location and Scale animation curves. That is what you need to do manually. Rotation is independent of scale because it is in degrees. But Location and Scale are influenced by it . So if the model or armature were scaled up x10, then after applying the scale you need to also scale all Loc and Scale curves x10 on the Y axis. Or it might be divide by 10, not sure right now but I think you get the idea.
@@CGDive ah I see, first thought it simply allies scale to Arma and mesh objects. But thought something that simple wouldn't need an operator. Thanks for explanation
@@CGDive No crowd system was the error given from Procedural Crowds. I reset the Asset Folder just to a random folder. Then back to it. Then, realized I was just in Edit Mode doing some retopology and you can't make changes to PC when in Edit Mode. :D Whoops. Everything worked great after that.
I can't. You have to contact the addon developers on Blender market. Just go to the Precedural crowds page and you should find a button which says Ask a Question. Make sure you share the exact error with them.
Worst experience I've ever had with an addon... nothing works no matter what i try...the crowd drops from the sky ever time i had them...they don't follow path...practically nothing works for me... I'm sure its just me
Well, I am glad that you take responsibility but if it is that bad, there might be a bug or something. Make sure you are using a supported Blender version. Also get in touch with the addon developers , describe the issue as precisely as possible, and ask them for help.

awwwww, :D
Thanks so much for the kind words!
You are amazing, you demonstrate the tool in an excellent way. I really appreciate your honesty.
Hi thank you for this fantastic crowd creation, is there any way to EXPORT this from Blender with he animations into Unreal Engine 5.4?
Hmmmm, not sure about that. It's probably better to look for a native UE crowd solution.
Fantastic. I needed this 🙏🏻
Wow just no4iced v2, that has some super nice uodates done to it. Conpared to thers and the custom omport function. The price is insane!
Yeah, currently this is the best crowd addon for blender.
@@CGDive well I find the population addon and it's massive library also very nice. But the price is so steep compared to this one

How do i make Audience sit on chairs in an indoor arena ?
How to bake animation?

Happy to help
Thanks….well covered. 🤔🍷🎩🎩🎩👍

I am not sure what the problem is. All I can suggest is already in the video.

Increase the speed.
thanks
Can i ask what that cusrom operator does, the one which fixes the scaling
It's been a while. Which part of the video?
@@CGDive10:02 around this part

what specs are on your machine, need to see if it will run this smoothly on my machine
Ryzen 5 5600x, 32bg ram, RTX 3070 Ti.
If blender runs normally on your PC, the addon should work fine.
I can't find the folder in my local drive to put the custom models folder
Try watching the whole video? :)
Im really confused on how to bring my crowd above surface Im not seeing the same menu options you see in regards to selecting the floor
Yeah... I am not looking at your monitor so it's hard to say, sorry. If you believe it is a bug, you should report it to the addon devs.
Im also confused how you are specically adjusting the crowd z axis in specific areas
I have a no crowd system error after install. I don't know.
You have no error? That's good right?

Can you export them to unreal engine?
I don't think it would work directly through FBX. Alembic might work but it's much more optimized to set up the crowd in UE.
@@CGDive Any tips on a similar way to do it in ue without using the pre made city crowd asset pack?
i install procedure crowds but it gave me an error.. can you help me with that ?
thanks
