Thanks for this beautiful video. I am already checking out the place where y’all stayed. My husband and I disagree with your comments amount Firenze being overrated. We had a wonderful time there last summer. I think the key to a good experience is to let go of some of your preplanned expectations and slow down to immerse yourself in the culture, food and people. We always leave with the expectation of returning in the future.

No worries. This was late May to early June. Which I think was perfect. Any later in the year and it would have been too hot, and any earlier the mornings would have been rather cold. We had that issue in our Spanish Camino, where the mornings were really cold until you got proper hiking. Here it was great, because I only go hot during the more rigorous parts, which is to be expected anyway :)
