Blood cancer is a disease that is not easily diagnosed. Symptoms include weakness, frequent fever, bleeding manifestations, and more. Complete blood count (CBC) tests can help identify blood cancer. But sometimes, additional tests like bone marrow tests should also be done.
Blood cancer is usually of two types - acute leukemia and chronic leukemia. Acute leukemia refers to cancers that develop within a short period like three months. Treatment for acute leukemia should be started immediately while chronic leukemia can be started slowly.
