Rs3 got vorky, and now osrs got araxxor, bit of a tradeup for unique monsters. Edit to add in since the noxious bow is the big thing for rs3, we had alot of bows on here so a halberd wasnt a bad idea. Plus already got a scythe ingame, so adding the noxious scythe in wouldnt had been a good idea. And ya did hit a good nail on the head about blood fury, in honesty its good for what it is, extra heals and more safety as well.
@@ScriticRS If she doesn’t show in the fight she might end up having something to do with Verzik like the Nylocas trying to steal the nest after being driven out of the theater
@@ScriticRS my thoughts are she will be a hard mode boss, or saved up for a lower level version of the fight like wildly bosses having lower level variants
Araxxi is the female spider, araxxor is the male spider. Female spiders breed with the male, then eat the male to regain strength. In the rs3 fight thats what she does, she devours araxxor when the player kills him giving araxxi all the buffs you gave him from the first 3 phases, then you fight araxxi with those buffs for phase 4. I realllly hope they at least make the boss fight unique like it is in rs3, would be so disappointing if araxxor on osrs just ends up like a reskinned hydra or cerb style boss with very little depth, ridiculously rare rates, and fast kills.... id rather have more challenging in depth fun longer kills like 5 to 10 minute kill time with drop rates that are reasonable...
GIM perspective: 1 hally: new melee upgrade that doesn't degrade / take an additional 400 corrupted gauntlet 2 rancor: blood fury too expensive for us anyways 3 boots: likely already doing cerb anyways Gl everyone and don't forget to extend the task before hunting!!
as a GIM rancor def #1 youll be using fang most of the time anyway unless ur doing vard or tob and whip > hally at tob due to verzik crab phase so. atm halberd is way too niche imo but maybe amazing at collosuem with bees

1 hally (really good midgame weapon with niche high-lv application like corp/some combat achievements) 2 boots (2nd best hybrid boots after echo boots) 3 rancor (minor upgrade over the underwhelming torture, still worse than blood fury in most cases)
I bought 3k antivenom+ when this waa announced, made some sweet cash so far. I also stacked up a couple thousand slayer points. Im contemplating taking off work day of release as well 😂

For the amulet section, irons need atleast 93 craft anyways so it's not like the 86 craft is saving them from grinding crafting :P they need a tort first
1. Halbard. 2. Boots. 3. Amulet. Halbard has couple of intricate things you can do with it. Freezing with Zammy godsword then attack from range (6 free attacks). With blood fury youll probably squeeze in a free heal or two in.

If the pattern of Jagex releasing content that is weak to the gear it drops continues, Araxxor will be weak to venom so that the spec isn’t 100% trash.
You put dukes image when talking about bosses being immune to venom and yes while Duke doesnt get venomed he does get poisoned. So the halberd would still poison him unlike the other bosses.
yeah i think the halberd being #1 is a for sure, a sythe is so out of reach for the average player as its kinda hard to get 1.3b, and raids arent super feasible for us bois with no friends lmao
I find the creation method of the amulet so uninspired. 86 crafting but also 98 crafting? I'd prefer if it required herblore to create the amulet instead. Imagine using the drop to transmute/toxify the torture amulet. It seems more interesting and appropriate imo
i think people mistake the amount of players that are actually doing very high level pvm. the % of players that are doing things like getting gm tasks done and what not, is very very small compared to the amount of people that actually play the game. as far as something being bis yea sure its a bis item, but you truly dont need bis items unless youre going for pb times. the ONLY place i can think that bis everything is ever needed a few places like tob, toa, and no prep cm's. other than that you really dont need bis anything except the weapon. and plenty of pures have shown this. there are plenty of 1 def accounts that do just fine in high level content.
I genuinely think this is a smart take. The majority of the playerbase will have a much easier time using a blood fury over literally anything else in most situations.
Efficient wildy slayer is so good. I think last Saturday I was able to complete 75 tasks, earning something like 2k points (you gain 350 every 10 tasks you do, then every 50th/100th is amazing)
You can probably already test this with a chally. But it would be AMAZING for sure if you could do that before its nerfed somehow. Though, you'll still have to dodge the poison clouds, so it wont be completely free.
@@hanswurst8284 if you are standing behind either pillar to his sides he does not mage you as you are in range of his floor icicles that follow his hands slamming. Which is why I’m wondering if we can just sit behind the pillar and just accept that chip damage without having to move from the tile behind the pillar
I got a mate who has a pure he is looking forward to the boots as they r bis for him but also they r tribrid boots for pking so I kinda expect to seeing them in the wildy
Ummm I wonder if multiple hit specs will all hits get the minimal damage or just the 1st because just imagine getting venomed wait till it's 20 turn it to a poison then cure it then dear God dragon claws goes brrr
