Personally I did not find this website helped me that much.
In my case the passenger I was collecting walked through the terminal but then had some difficulty locating the Express Pick Up area due to confusing signage. I luckily caught sight of her in the distance and was able to give her directions - Gatwick Airport really needs to sort this out.
I could see nowhere in the Express Pick Up area to pay but on leaving the car park I was able to pay by card (£5.00) at the exit barrier.
The whole process took about 15 minutes,

Hi Steve, yes, Orange car park 3 is where Express Pickup is located on Level 0. Freeze frame the video at the appropriate place (3:50) and you will see the reference to Express Pickup towards the bottom of the sign.

I think costs have risen recently - somebody may be able to give us an update.
When I was last there you could wait up to 30 minutes and the cost on going through the barrier was £5.
If you are dropping off a passenger you drop off in a slightly different location and have to pay a fee (for me it was £5) over the internet when you get home.

No. You pay at the gate when leaving. Using a card is easy. Don't have to insert ticket as the gate recognises your car ... though wise to keep your ticket with you, in case.
