I love B&T. I have a GHM45 and an APC9 and plan to get an APC9SD. Since this is an official B&T channel id be interested in hearing a response to all those who say the APC line is overpriced because it's direct blowback. I constantly hear people complain that it still isn't as soft shooting as an MP5 and say for the price it should have a more advanced operation like roller delay or radial delayed blowback or using a piston like the mpx etc. Id be interested to hear some elaboration on why the design of this gun is better than the competition the way it is and why it was decided to not use one of those other systems. I really don't have a good response to these remarks when I hear them but obviously there is a reason the APC9K won an SMG contract over the competition.
PPCs shine with a compact barrel for maximum size benefit, if you increase the barrel length to about 7 to 8 inches yeah it’s a little increase in velocity, but you might as well run an 8 inch 300 blk with supersonic loads out and get way better ballistics.

Umm...the SBR’s energy is more than double the pistol’s-and it defeats armor, frags, yaws, tumbles, and is FAR more ballistically effective than a pistol round. Come on!
The SBR also has much more muzzle flash, way louder, even when suppressed, more expensive ammo, requires more effort doing quick headshots and follow up shots at close range, etc…
@@donh1572 It depends on the caliber. 5.56 NATO has less perceived recoil than most 9mm subguns/PCC setups-though the former produce less flash and concussion. Bulk M193 runs currently around $0.43/rd. and is ballistically effective for protection/duty use. In the case of 9mm, a top-shelf self-defense round-be it a hollowpoint (124-gr. GD or HST) or innovative-tip bullet (Lehigh/UW, TUI, etc.)-will run ~$0.75 to over $1/round, resp. Since the FMJ 5.56 is inherently much more effective than a pistol round, one cannot argue that a top-end 5.56 round (e.g., Mk262 MOD-1C) would need to be included for this to be a fair comparison, but I digress. The trigger on the SBR will be lightyears ahead of the subguns', so, coupled with generally less felt recoil, light-switch and follow-up shots would likely be easier with the (5.56) SBR. Certain models, recoil/gas systems, bbl lengths, and calibers-SBR and subgun alike-can throw these conclusions off, however.
@@champy1210 the ballistic of 5.56 dramatically decrease in short barrels. Not to mention the fireball and concussion that comes out of very short barrels. People switch to 300 blackout for a reason. 9mm is just a cheaper gun to run then 300 blackout and it’s even quieter. For plinking you can get much cheaper ammo. Trying to suppress a 5.56 is an exercise in futility, hence once again why people turn to 300 blackout. Yet 9mm is even quieter. SBR 5.56 are not quicker then pcc and competitions shows this
My APC9K/G doesn't shoot in the collapsed buttstock position. It consistently has failure to feed malfunctions. It was fired with the buttstock collapsed in the "storage" configuration, unshouldered, with two points of contact. Is this normal? I fell like the gun should operate in all configurations, otherwise, what's the point of the buttstock being collapsible...
It'll be more compact if it is designed like TMP(MP9) and USW but the magazine for the MP9 are more expensive. I guess both of them can interchanging with certain model.

My apc9k came last week. It’s like it runs on ball bearings. Very well built. Fit and finish are amazing.

It’s a gas blowback with a piston system. It’s better. Worth the price. I own a APC9 with regular lower and also have a Glock lower to go with it.
MP5 suppressed makes me cry from all of the gas in my face.

Basically, you get a longer barrel in a really small package = more energy. The opposite of the SBR.

I had same problem, have to use some good hot ammo and it’s all good…
