Unpopular opinion, Acowar is honestly my favorite book bc so much unfolds with politics and battles. And plot twists.

I finished these books a year and a half ago, and I still think about them every week. By far my favorite series I have ever read, it felt like a whole family.

Also the character that gave me the most conflicted feelings was West from the First Law trilogy, especially at the end of the first book.
Girly you should definitely make a reading vlog reading the folk of the air trilogy, it was the first fantasy series I picked up and fell in love with ya fantasy

The 3rd and 5th books are my favorite in the series. I read this series in late summer last year and I’m still obsessed. Currently reading Throne of Glass series now to help ease my SJM fix 😂

Fav series of all time
I finished this series last week and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it! For me all books were just great, but ACOWAR was a little bit slower in the middle... whereas ACOSF was perfection. I too didn't like Nesta at the beginning but I saw her work on herself and this had an impact on my own life so yeah, it's definitely my favorite in the series. Aaaand ACOFAS for me was extremely enjoyable after so much fighting and all that, I liked the tranquility of the book but I wish I had read it in winter, on top of that, it was necessary to go into ACOSF.
You should read the throne of glass series!🥰😊it is sarah j mass's series that was published before acotar. Its so good, especially the later books

I also gave A Court of Frost and Starlight 4 stars. It was just so cute and cozy and nice to take a break from the heavy politics and war. I think that Tamlin needs a redemption arc at some point. He did do some good things but he also has anger management issues and that's the problem. Rhys has also done both good and bad things but he knows how to handle himself better. Also, I am signing your virtual petition.

I just finished the first book last night and I’m starting the first one today- I’m so excited!!!

am I the only who didn't like how Tamlin's character was changed up? I was head over heels in the first book, so reading the second book made it really hard for me to like Rhysand more than him. I do agree that Tamlin has become a toxic character, but I honestly think everyone needs to cut him some slack. just like feyre, he too has trauma from under the mountain which is portrayed trough how he becomes so overprotective of feyre in the second book because he's scared to lose her. we see in acomaf how feyre changes her feelings for him by analyzing how he did everything different than Rhysand, implying he only wanted her as an "object", when really it's just that he didn't love her the way she wanted him to, and I don't recall her ever telling him that? they were both just very bad at communicating after UTM, and i think that they just weren't meant for each other after that. as feyre was dealing with her own trauma, so was he, so I don't feel like she has the right to complain about how he mistreated her when she did just that to him. don't get me wrong, I don' blame her for leaving him, and I don't think they should be together because of said trauma, but if he is villainized because of the way he changed after UTM, it doesn't make sense why feyre shouldn't be too. after all she left him for another man with no explanation. after that it's like sarah j. maas just made him into a villain, as if his trauma isn't just as valid as anyone elses in the series. as if he doesn' make mistakes just like everyone else. I feel like no one ever takes into consideration how Tamlin was impacted after under the mountain and it pains me after having liked him so much in the first book.
I will continue being a Tamlin apologist and hope for a redemption arc or something to make people hate him less, because jeez.
Yeaaaah. I kind of feel like we were tricked in the first book. Tamlin was amazing, thoughtful and patient. Everything Rys ended up being in the next book. I mean…I guess Tamlin and Feyre can not work out but wow…to turn Tamlin into a jerk…idk i feel like it needs further explanation for sure. Oh, and Feyre was quite the jerk in sowing all that discord in the Spring Court causing it to fall from within. But we’ll forgive her…because that’s how the author wrote it to be.
I really want thr to be a book about Feyre and Rhysands son and how they raise him
