Wow that was complicated - I don't think I've seen so many passes and improbable saves in a set of 4 races on any channel! By the way, I like your dioramas - they add a touch of colour and character between the action.

The two cars I most hoped would advance today did so, YAY!! If I remember correctly, only one driver fell victim to The Twist and one fell off the track side, so very excellent driving all 'round!

What a spectacular race and scrapper that was. Plenty of knees and elbows in that one. Did not imagine seeing Leo Screams time get run over in such a short period and in such fashion. Not surprised to see Jackie Midnight moving on up in the competition, though very lucky and skilled to stay on track in that last run. Great looking cars all of them. Shame another Escort did not make it through. Gutted to see Jason First fall on the last run. Well raced by all. That escort is totally beautiful! And I would’ve loved to have seen a black car advance on. Looks great on the track. But this group did not disappoint! Such a great round of racing. And with Arya Solo and Jackie Midnight with crazy fast times, it’s exciting to see the game get elevated!

Solo is one of my favorite drivers ever to race at The Skyway, and you put her in..... an EVO! :( I feel conflict within me as I'm also considering choosing Sparks (who has raced at The Skyway before too, right?) Midnight has race here too I think. I'm not sure if this is the first time for First, but I have loved that Escort on my tracks. Hmmm.... who should I choose?
Solo. I pick Solo. I think she's got the skills to pull this off, even if she is in an Evo.
Race 1: You just said every one has raced here before so that settles it. Solo starts in the danger spot so I'm not going to freak out if there's an early DNF here. She'll be fine. (after race) NO!!!!!!! Solo was so close to second here. What an exciting finish. Another unpredicable outcome. Love it even if my lady just got a DNF. She showed fantastic skill and aggressive driving. I think she'll be fine.
Race 2: OH HECK YAY!!!!!!! SOLO. SOLO. SOLO.!!!!!!! What a perfect run to show both speed and skill. Such an exciting race.
Race 3: Oh my I just about lost it when Solo hit the rails after the jump. She again proves her ability to maintain control. Second place here is great.
Race 4: I'd expect Solo to make a pass, but with Sparks in the pole position, advancing is going to take some impressive driving and some luck. (after race) SOLO!!!!! SOLO!!!!! SOLO!!!!! SOLO!!!!! So I made some tweaks to the track today. I sent you the video. Removing the twist kind of broke my heart, Just a beautiful artifact carrying with it many hours of design work on your part. but It will surely be back.
By removing the Twist there is a simplicity. A clarity to the start of the race. The lane swap finally feels like a featured aspect of the track one that tells a story, and a few humps leading into a skinny split before the Extreme 180. Its quite pleasant.
I was able to drop the start about 12". that way the cars aren't being jostled out of the swap. And its a nice easy speed increase into the extreme 180. Just gotta make sure the jump isn't taking on too much speed. Wishing you and the family plenty of air-conditioning!
