F-Zero The Legend of Falcon Lap 1 - Legendary Start [Subbed]. In celebration of the 9th anniversary of the anime, I decided to sub the show with my friend Zedopp. We weren't too sure about some of the names, so they may not be entirely correct, but everything else should be fairly close to the original.
The material presented in the video belongs to Ashi Productions and TV Tokyo. We make no claims to anything. This is a fansub by fans for fans. You know it is even better when it tells you to keep your room lit and don't get to close to your TV, because the amount of awesome coming from it could harm you otherwise

Shame that 4Kids says "Meeeh, let's do a generic song that no one likes instead." Like COME ON! Pokemon got their songs adapted from the games and it gave a good vibe so why, JUST WHY?
I like how Mister Falcon reminds the kids/audience watching the show to not sit so close as it could hurt or damage their eyes. Or too make sure no one is erased from existence in the event a person sits to close to the TV and ceases to exist upon the sight of Captain Falcon and his Blue Falcon racing across the screen vaporizing anyone too close to the TV based on sheer badassery alone.
I've been on a serious _F-Zero_ kick lately and, since I've been playing the anime-based games non-stop, I hoped I could find this series somewhere. I wasn't expecting to find it on _TH-cam_ in its uncensored form with subtitles, though! I can't even image the amount of work that went into making Subtitle files for this series. Thank you, thank you, _thank you_ for this! I'm going to watch the _heck_ out of this over the next few days!

Literally just started watching this. (Got interested in the series with the release of F-Zero 99) Expected to get hit in the face with a Bounty Hunter entering death races and being cool. Not hit in the face with a man having to deal with the fact he wasn't able propose to his girlfriend and that she's dead, since he's been in cryo-sleep for 150 years. Like damn.

No! Why you need a hd version? Original is always better, the old animation of every anime looks more for adults. More serious, and not so colorfull. Todays animes looks more like a kids show compared to old stuff

I just finished the last episdodes and I am so gratfull that I've had a chance to watch the whole series! I imagine that translating all this took a lot of work, and I just want to let you know that it hasn't gone to waste and means so much to me! Thank you!
As I'm sure some of you noticed, the first episode has been translated into Portuguese by SteveDoidoUltimate! If you haven't noticed it yet, well...now you know! :)
I am aware that there are some timing issues. I will look into fixing that when I can get some free time to do so. :)

Bryce Woody The translations are there, just not embedded in the video. I did this so people could easily swap languages if the need to ever arose. Is there an error with the subs that prevents it from working for you?
no, Dreadopp it's nothing to do with the subtitles, its i want to be able to download them and watch them on the go, I just wish that japanese was easier to understand X(
Bryce Woody The main reason I did soft subs was so other languages could be added in the future if they were ever produced. To have hard subs would mean that new videos would need to be uploaded, and I don't have the internet capacity at this time to do that. There may be hard subbed versions of our subs already out there.

I know, very out of the Blue, but have you or Zedopp ever Discovered wether there exists any form of official soundtrack for this series? One without the inepisode sounds still in and maybe of higher quality?
While I know the Fidelity in this Soundtrack isn't great, I really love the Songs after rewatching my Rip for the Series with your Subtitles after attaching them and fixing the timestamps (Huge thanks for providing them btw) for countless times, now
On another note, if you want I can provide a german translation for them, btw
@@Jackall1993 Unfortunately, neither of us have ever encountered a soundtrack for this show. There is that CD that was sent out to 100 (if I remember correctly) lucky viewers, according to the ending puppet, but I don't know/recall if that was a soundtrack for the show, a collection of Jack's stuff, or something else entirely. It's possible there is a CD out there somewhere, but it may well be lost to time.
If you would like to provide some German subs, that would be great! Always happy to support more languages. :)

When you watch this versus the first episode of the 4Kids dub, it's obvious that the Japanese original is LEAGUES better than the American version. The musical cues, the editing, the voice acting and the lack of comedic pandering makes this one soooo much better.
I just pretend the 4Kids dub doesn't exist.

I played F-ZERO, F-ZERO X and F-ZERO GX and I watched the entire anime.
I think that is the maturest Nintendo series with Metroid. I love the gameplay, the history, the ambiance and the characters, especially in the anime. F-ZERO always had something that Mario Kart don’t. If a new game or a movie get released, I buy it day one.

***** Mario Kart is better on a pick-up-and-play party game level but F-Zero is a much better single player experience
depends on what you prefer: a fun party game that is more for items and gimmicks (mario kart)
or the arcade-y highspeed skill-based race-fest.
funnily enough, miyamoto made f-zero first as a launch title for the snes. mario kart came after. so in a way f-zero is mario karts lesser-known older brother. and they both have cameos. for instance, mr eads appearence looks like marios. even the star on the belt. and the name is from nintendos research and development team. or how about the fact that the blue falcon appears in mario kart wii and 8(as dlc for the latter)? also, mute city is dlc for mario kart 8. the more you knoowww~
edit: big blue is in mario kart too. :O and if you have the captain falcon amiibo you can unlock a captain falcon suit for your miis :3
they're both great in my opinion..... but personally I like f-zero's fast paced gameplay.

In all honesty I think F-Zero is equal to Mario Kart, but F-Zero a also considerably different game wise and is underrated as franchise (not that people don’t know the series or hate it, it is just an underrated game series having a handful of games and a minor amount of representation in Smash Bros with one character, being Captain Falcon.
The greatest anime series of all time. I just finished the series and loved every part of it! Intro is badass, Falcon is awesome in this, I love the characters and plot, overall my favorite anime series and now I wanna play the F-Zero games now!

34, in 2023, first time watching this. Great graphical quality!
So I was rewatching this series after having finished it a couple days ago just to see how far this series came, and within the first 3 minutes there’s already a plot inconsistency... *spoilers*
Namely, why are the Twin Norrita, Red Bull, and Elegance Liberty all present in this first race when none of their pilots are currently racing? Lucy doesn’t become a pilot until Episode 12, the Twin Norrita isn’t even built until later on, and the Red Bull literally is the Blue Falcon in disguise.
There’s also the Hell Hawk showing up in multiple episodes before Blood Falcon is created, which I count separately because it happens multiple times.
remind me why we don't have another F-Zero game?
