With the upgraded Engine pro, can you unlock any hidden settings ie battery volts, speed or power or is the bike already unlocked?

The L20 comes as EU legal so it comes with locked speed and disabled throttle. The display is also simpler on the L20 and you don't get so many options like ECO, Normal and Sport drive modes that you get on the Engine Pro.
even with eu legal settings we can unlock the speed limit as you showed here, right? There is no bike l20 that cannot be unlocked?@@TechTronic9000

Hi thanks for your awesome videos man, they are very helpful. Do you know 8f there is a way for the L20 to set PAS levels? On my Engine X I was able to set it to 1-9 and I want to set this also for my wife on the L20 I recently purchased for her. Now the setting is 0-5.
On the L20 it is not possible, you only get 5 assist modes, 0 mode and throttle working after activation.
Thanks for this video i change change all the setting except the speed it will not go up or down. I have also down a factory reset but it still not adjusting. Any help would be gr8t tks
Read the pinned comment, the bike has went through a newer revision and things have changed.
When I was going through the settings on the L20 it seems to have gotten stuck on P8 do you know how to fix it?

If you lower the battery voltage would that length'n the battery range of the bike
That will shorten the battery life very very fast.
Can you make a video how to reset the bike if you have a password and forgot it
From what I know there is no way to reset the password. Try contacting support from after sales.

The disc of the front disc brake steaks/grinds even when not using the front disc brake. Do you have any idea how to fix it ?? Is it possible that the front fork is too tight screwed on ? Should it eventually be done with a torque wrench ?
Bike mechanic can fix that in a few minutes, the rotor is out of alignment and just need to be adjusted, a basic bike issue for bikes with disc brakes.

Which one is better the version X or the L20 including speed
The Engine X and L20 has similar power and torque. If you want a faster one then have a look at the E26 or X24.
Mine only goes P2. It won't go to p3. Is there anything else I can do?
It seems that ENGWE has very recently changed the display / controller version, so if your bike is brand new then this solution might not work.

If it's the newer model, read the pinned comment, the bike version changed as long as with the unlocking method.
Ancheer Gladiator has the same LCD but it cant be unlocked in settings and idk how to unlock it.
Could have a hard lock on the controller.

help friend. I have the same version as yours. cgce to change the password, and set a password to run on startup. how to do it. i only have p1p2p3p4p5p6p7 but i don't have p8 anymore. in some versions of p8, the password is set, and in this one
if I remember correctly P2 is for power on password setting.
@@TechTronic9000 I checked p2, the wheel size fits. ppshould be p8 password and security setting but no p8.
Why set a password when you have a key? The bike can't power on without your key activating the battery!

I hate the handlbars I just changed mine to 90 rise , so much better , Not bad for 15 quids off ebay 😊 great bike otherwise.

is it possible to limit how fast you can go with the throttle?
You either limite the bike speed, or just select the assisted limit which will limit the throttle speed. Still some bike will have unlimited speed with throttle.

Hello please help, i have just recieved this bike today and cannot change the maximum speed limit. I do every step, i go to p3 then press power button, then the 25kmh symbol flashes but when i press + and - it does not change the number 😢 i just got this today and am stressing as i dont want to have to unbuild the bike and send it back 😩
Mine is currently the same. I can’t change the maximum speed limit either. I am in the UK so I’m wondering if that’s the reason why but I can’t imagine they have fixed that issue to stop me as I can get the throttle to work.
@davejrave hi mate, I found a reddit post yesterday that solved my problem, I believe the process to turn the restrictions off is slightly different to that of non uk, pre 2024 models of the L20 and M20.
1. simply turn on ebike (without holding brakes, throttle etc.)
2.go to hidden menu (hold+ & -).
3. on P1 menu just hold , "+" until u see 63kmph
(around 10+secs). That's it :) throttle & V-max
unlocked.
Also, if U wanna revert it fast (just in case):
1. bike turned on
2. hold power & ,+" button until see reset screen
3. change to , "y" using "+" button
4. press power button. [it will reset all settings to
factory default].
This method worked for me, I hope it helps you.

You will find the factory reset will no longer work and the throttle will remain activated to 3mph am not sure why that is tho and for some reason you lose 2mph off the 27mph but if you find a solution to fully factory reset it please let me know

Just search my channel for ADO, I have a lot of dedicated video with settings, speed unlock, throttle enable etc.
Can I unlock the Ado A20 f+ without the throttle? I want to use the 35 km/h without the throttle but only with pedal support. Do you have a video for the installation of the throttle on the Ado A20F + at least couldn't find any by searching. Thank you Best regards Wides
A20 f+ is a great bike used to have one with the rack but the battery was a let down but still loved the bike
Does the bike have regen brakes?
No, because it has a geared motor with one way clutch, this provides zero motor resistance when it's not powered, so it will coast very easy.
@@TechTronic9000 yes I thought so, thinking experimenting by fixing the clutch and buying a motor controller that allows regen

Same problem. I can get to the menu and I can get to the speed but when I press the buttons to rase or lower, nothing happens. I was wondering if anyone may have a fix or a solution
I know how to fix it. You need to get to the interface an then hold + for like 15 sek. Then you have unlimit km/h and the throttle

It is dual, 250W locked and limited to 25km/h, but it can also be unlocked for hi performance mode and no speed limit (~40km/h). You can check my full review about it and find out more.

I was sent this it worked for me when all other videos didn’t
When the display is turned on, press and hold the "+-" button at the same time for 3 seconds to enter the setting interface. After releasing the "+-" button, press and hold the "+" button for 15 seconds to release the 6km accelerator limit and the 25km/h speed limit.
