I never get why people are that impressed that a skilled musician can play and sing at the same time, unless they are the guys just starting and have to look at a fretboard to know what they are playing.. Skilled musicians devolop muscle memory where playing is just second nature and singing over it is super easy.

We had opened for Death at The Stone in SF just a months earlier on the this same tour, and they had a different guitarist who's name escapes me, Andy Laroque from King Diamond played on the "Individual Thought Patterns" CD but NOT on the tour! Chuck did hire Ralph, but Ralph didn't do the European tour, they asked Craig to do it last minute and he filled in just for the Euro trek. It was pretty common knowledge at the time when this happened, was reported on in Metal Maniacs and the Euro 'zines. There's other footage from this tour on YT where he is mentioned and seen more clearly. Wiki doesn't mention this but trust me, I know Craig personally, that's him.

Every single cover He makes is better than the original, it made me completely forgot this was a Slayer song, a band I never liked enough, I even met Tom Araya when I was working on Metal Militia in London, nothing like Death, the think with Death I just never gave it a chance because of his comment he made once in an interview about the Death Metal scene going too far with guys tattooing pentrangrams to prove how masculine they were, that really created a big split in the scene at the time, and I was fresh outta Catholic school so I had grown to hate Christianity forever.. but I can still hate Christianity and love Chuck, but Slayer even though went to the anti-Chirstian side, never ever ever did it for me, and it's not gonna change now either Chuck just makes any song sounds beautiful.. so there you have it. 💜
