For Japan biometric is not required. You can check with VFS global if they have any tie-up with Bluedart courier services in your region

We waited for the visa and we were also tracking the flight cost, the price did not fluctuate a lot

Bank statement 6 months, signed and stamped by the bank (try to keep it as close as your application date) and cover letter on a normal A4 page.

I work for a us based company as a video editor but i dont have any proof about it, like a salary slip or something, I am still kind of a self employed on paper. You mention the dummy ticket airline and it's okay to change airline. They don't care what flight you will be actually flying in. They care if you have a ticket in hand or not just to grant visa

Par Mere or mere wife ke passport me spouse name mentioned hai aur mere bacche ka bhi birth certificate me bhi mere aur mere wife ke name as parents mentioned Hain. Yie sab dikha ke kya mere wife aur baccha ka family dependent visa milega??

Yes, you will get a small refusal stamp on last page of your passport in japanese you will have to google translate it to understand.

Amazing content as usual, for how long that 4-5 lacs money should be in our account for Japan visa. That money should be consistently sitting in our account for 6 months or can we dump the money in one shot and show the balance to be 4-5 lacs

Dumping should also be okay but if sitting for a long time in form of FD etc. then that would be better.

We recommend to make cover letter for each. May be that letter can highlight that they are dependent on you financially, if that is the case.
