Personally I thought it was hilarious. The songs are so clever and I've been listening to the Off-Broadway recording a bunch, but I'm praying they record a new one with Josh and Andrew AND include a lot of the dialogue.
I love Josh and Andrew and they are hilarious…HOWEVER it’s a mixed bag on reaction on this one. The gag gets old quick. It just wasn’t good. The audience the night I was there were underwhelmed to say the least when it ended. IMO it’s getting praise bc the two of them are just brilliant performers in general. The show is really weak. The music is awful.
that’s the point. the music is supposed to be terrible, that’s what makes it funny. and the fact that they’re terrible is what makes the show great. at the end of their show, when they get the broadway contract, it shows how their small, stupid dream came true and underneath all of the jokes the show is really about dreams and dreamers. josh and andrew themselves have stated that. idk if i derailed on this comment, i just love this show so much, and it’s probably because i find it funny and andrew and josh are some of my favorite people on broadway. it’s probably preference lol
@@manda._.panda65 I get what the point was supposed to be. I just think the joke of it all got old. My friends and I just thought it was ok. It’s getting mixed bag reaction. There’s a lot of haters. I’m not trying to trash it. I love them and love good theatre. I just don’t think the gag holds for 2 hours. One note, IMO.
