    Much love, and thanks! The spiritual roots of South America were dreadfully cut...
    The yogic sciences touched this land long ago, but worldly influences very nearly stamped them out.
    The people of South America were inculcated under Abrahamic theology and today you would be hard-pressed to find any single person that's even heard of these wonderful teachings. It's pretty sad...
    Genetic markers link us to India in a manner that can only be explained through ancestorial maritime travel.
    Ancient structures built in Vedic style are still in the process of being uncovered as well.
    My study feels limited as i'm unfamiliar with eastern language, so finding reading material on specific subjects is difficult.
    So thanks again for the uploads!
    edit: What was the mantra for invoking the elements? It's not easy going by ear, and searching the web shows so many varying results. This is tough without knowing the language

    You did not tell about the center red bindu. What I have learnt from saints is that three lines represents shiva and the center red bindu represent goddess shakti and together the Tilak represents oneness of shiv shakti. There are many ways of explanation like one is that the three lines represents three gunas and the center bindu represents god.

    Why does the 3rd line represent the Supreme Self and also represent Tamas, the lowest spiritual form of the Gunas ? Just seems contradicting ...

    • @VedicToday
      @VedicToday  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No, there is no contradiction here. Kalagni Rudra is the highest manifestation of Tamas, also here the Upanishad describe three symbolism that does not also mean there is a correlation within this three symbolism. The third line also represents the Sam Vedas and Knowledge this is the way we need to see it.

      @@VedicToday thank you 🙏 so you're saying to see the line representing knowledge instead of Tamas, one of the gunas ? What about the other 2 lines ?

    Actually Om is three and a half syllables. Three lines + a point. The point represents that these three worlds appear as dynamic and static. Thus we arrive at the five-fold activities of Lord Shiva termed pañcakṛtya. The five elements are a reflection of his five-fold nature, and reflecting on this nature is the cause of purification. Therefore we are instructed to meditate on the elements. The resulting reabsorption of objectivity into subjectivity constitutes Kalagni Rudra.
