Your statement Vedas existed long before Sanskrit was born, is more appropriate. Vedas were in the form of Sounds and songs. Sanskrit might be created much later and Vedas were written in Sanskrit in the form of Books.

Nice video, but then how do you explain that European languages are more similar to Sanskrit than for example Tamil language? Lithuanian language is almost identical to Sanskrit even today, many words are similar. Same with old Persian which is even more similar to Sanskrit.

What I have learnt from saints is that three lines represents shiva and the center red bindu represent goddess shakti and together the Tilak represents oneness of shiv shakti. There are many ways of explanation like one is that the three lines represents three gunas and the center bindu represents god.
