- Using my muvi mini cam i took this video of me riding my Suzuki a100 , i wasn't exspecting it to be that low but it gives a great view of the speedo, so i thought i'd post it. For an old girl she still has some go in her and i was not thrashing, she just went at what she wanted lol The sound isn't too gd but i was not going to dub in music over a 2 stroke at full go sorry lol anyway hope you enjoy.

I had one of these in 1973, my first bike. On L plates there was no speed restrictions so I let her go. For 10 miles I flattened myself on the Tank and saw 75mph. I miss my A100 it got185 miles to the gallon of fuel even on that fast run out to Alexandra Victoria.
Try this
-Use motul for the oil !
-Change the carburator,
And the sparkplug too, use the spark pluk and carbu with race type
-And dont forget to release the fender for having the ligthest weight for the motorcycle.
-Clean the piston, exhaust chamber etc
(Story)
My father use this motor cycle when he was young(highschool)
Too race with other. Well at that time just a litlle people who have motorcycle and cars, so my father and his friends are using the motor cycle for racing.
Rip
Died at 54 years old
67 mph=107 km/h,very good for an 100cc motorbike.
Love the older small displacement 2-strokes! I'd be right behind you, riding my old 50cc Honda MB5 but at 53 MPH max speed! Thanks for sharing.
What an awesome machine! I have the MT5 at home, but nowhere near 53MPH, probably about 47-48, I'm not sure, the clock stops at 45. Hahaha! I'm hoping to add a GP100 to the collection soon, and maybe eventually get around to putting the H100 engine in my MT5, it's been waiting to go in the bike for 4 years. I have a soft spot for small smokers.
1:08 oh wow the Roar of the bike like a tiger starts here
I road raced one of these with the race kit from Japan. top speed was around 110 km per hour at Bathurst down the straight, with a fairing on and a jockey rider.
1:08 oh wow super bro
This bike is roaring like a tiger
Hey, love the bike, I'm currently restoring one I got from my Dad. It's a '76, and I was hoping for some help on places to find parts? assuming yours was a restore.
i recently purchased a gokart with one of these engines on it at an auction, do you think that would go 67 mph?
I'm totally buying a rebuilt one in next week for 300cdn for a mechanic I work with after watching this video. Looks like a blast for around town
From* not for......damn textlicia....
Hi, I have exactly the same motorcycle, but i have a problem. I'm not able to get power on the 4 gears. I couldn't not feel the rev of the engine increase. What do you think ? Where could be the problem ? Do I have to adjust the clip on the needle, and go lower ?
I have a 1967 A100, same colour!
Your bike seems to have a tad more pep than mine. On flat ground with no wind I can get a maximum speed of only 62MPH. I am at 2100ft above sea level though so that may play a part. Is your bike stock? Or are you jetted/ported?
Only get 52ish its on a 2nd oversize rebore any ideas on getting more hp out of it also lookin for new Speedo and manual coz I had to guess on float leavel
fair enough, I have the same bike as you, it is a sweet ride.
Still no luck on my a100 do you know wot hight my float in my carb needs to be set at

Hi sar I have same bike a80cc 1979 model total original suzuki Japan fitting
I have the dealer parts book for this model and the ACC-100 and ASS-100.
Gas tanks and panels, etc. are described as being Red, Blue or Brack in colour (Brack not Black..... I kid you not!!)
I have a friend with a ASS-100 sports version...... it has 0.5 HP more than the ACC-100 and communter A-100 according to the manuals.
you shouldn't drive with your hand on the brake
Still no luck on my a100 do you know wot hight my float in my carb needs to be set at
Any ideas on wot my carb float is meant to be set at on my a100 still can't get it right any help is appreciated
I shall have a look for my manual when i get back from work tomorrow, always busy Tuesdays but i will get back to you as soon as i can Philip :)
Thank you will have my off carb waiting
Philip Harris
Ok Philip if you have the carb assembly upside down on the table the float leave is 23 mm from the gasket face (without gasket) top top of float (which would be bottom when right way up). Also the pilot screw is 1 1/2 turns from fully screwed in if you need a stock setting to tune from just for feature reference. Hope this has help and if you need any more help just drop me a message :)
Only one other thing please my bike revs high wen I hit a bump can't work out y have u ever had this problem and wot is the right spark plug to go in it thanks for all your help if u take urs to any shows I will probably see u at some pinot thanks for all ur time and help
