I thought it would work like this, with bosses showing up out of nowhere to harass you during gameplay - you know, like Nemesis or Mr X. Unfortunately the "open world" idea was scrapped and the bosses were just standard bosses. EDIT: What is the music at 12:02 onwards? EDIT2: Immediately remembered it's from Hitman Blood Money ("Vegas").
Maaaan, I was playing around with this feature just the other day!! An encounter I happened to get with the Sniper Skulls in Da Ghwandai Khar in Afghanistan was some of *the* most fun I've ever had in MGSV! The cat-and-mouse game that ensued *really* reminded me of a smaller-scale The End fight, and I play with "realistic" settings too so one shot from them and I was dead, and they could hear *everything* I did if I wasn't careful. I can't wait to play against Sniper Skulls in more outposts, that was *so* much fun! Also, just because I haven't seen you play it yet, there's a Camp Omega mod you can play ("US Naval Prison Facility") which is SO awesome to play in TPP!! Using realistic settings with its smaller size makes for SUCH exciting stealth gameplay! Because Camp Omega is so detailed, it rewards map knowledge in every square inch in a way that makes it feel well-balanced! That said, I was playing with 150% Sight (during the day) and 340% Hearing and it felt near impossible to go anywhere without attracting the attention of *somebody* . The hearing wasn't an issue, it was really the sight! Either way, night with 130% Sight is extremely doable by comparison! Personally, I see Day/Night as a kind of difficulty setting with this configuration lol. Camp Omega is really freaking fun though, HUGE recommend!! Ground Zeroes was *absolute* peak design in a way that no outpost in TPP can compare!!

My favorite runs will always be Assault Only challenges. Simply put, no stealth (beyond hiding to heal injuries, but once healed, you MUST re-engage). The only way to prevent endless enemy backup is to take out base comms while attacking. For an added challenge, do so using only vehicles and no buddies.

Ok so there's actually an exploit not many people are aware of. That being that because the skulls are so gigantic they don't have an animation for climbing ladders. Meaning that any sort of high ground accessed via ladder is not acknowledged by their AI. Basically they can't teleport up such places and cannot access them. They can still see and attack you with bullets and the exploding rocks but they can't get close to Snake. Two such places are the tower at the Airport main building and the hanger to the right of the main building. (Note : I know this works on Version 1.0.0 I do not know if it was patched later on)
To be honest, the normal game of MGSV would be awesome if groups of skulls could attack you sometimes in free roam. I always hated having to play specific missions to get parasites for the parasite suit. The added rules here are cool too though.
Try the any mission of MGSV but every guardpost have a IFV's and tanks, and soldiers will be fully equipped like in secondary missions, but all of the soldiers will have a S++ rank in everything.
Really need to check out these mods, finally got the L3 assault rifle suppressor a while back in vanilla and suddenly stopped caring about upgrades. Very existential crisis pilled. ...can you have tons of roaming wolves with 1000% health? That'd be cool. Good video, got me thinking.
Yea, this game has so many weapons but whatever you can get silenced first is good enough for the rest of the game. I guess you can just pick what you find cool but its a grind to get to the end of the tech trees to get a slightly different assault rifle with a suppressor
