You nailed the review. It's the best review of this truck that I have seen so far. I absolutely love my 2020 Ram Limited ecoDiesel which has the option package with the 360 degree view camera and Adaptive cruise control. It gets 29 mpg highway.
Payload is NOT 1800lbs. Look on the driver side door and It'll be there. If this was a bare bones tradesman - maybe you'd get close to 1800 - but a limited... probably closer to 1200. I just bought one and I have a 1200lb payload. All those fancy pants options weigh something.
Tbh that truck can hold way way more than 1200 in the bed. Easily 2k+. Manufacturers have to make the "limit" really low so they don't get sued when Pedro wants to haul 5k of gravel in the back of his truck and blows his suspension
I drive different types of vehicles for work. I've driven the f150, Silverado and 1500. The 1500 is my favorite so far. Tacoma was the worst. I prefer cars though but for work I'll take the 1500. You do need to drive vehicles before you choose which vehicle to drive. That's why test drives exist.
Love my 2022. Wish they were doing more updates this year and next. Seems like they're waiting till 2025 for a full refresh/redesign based around the new Hurricane.

About fuel economy, lets see what the guys on the other side of the planet are doing today. The Chinese GWM is selling in several countries now a PHEV SUV with 387hp and 390 lb-ft, that does 65 MPG, not kidding, this is not a prototype, this is an actual product. The magic is that it has two powerful eletric motors front and rear, very efficient, and a small 4cyl gas engine that's more a range extender, this way it has instantaneous torque and acceleration at any rpm, and unbelievable fuel economy, enabling it to go more than 900 miles on a single gas tank. This is the way any future hybrids will be done, including aircraft: this technology is available for almost a century, mostly as diesel-electric applications in trains and ships.

@@703Speed exactly. I want to have the quieter highway ride. Only towing about 3000 pounds. What’s hard to know without actually doing it is does the tranny hunt between the top gears while towing? One ratio is probably better than the other depending on what you’re towing.
Those things you mentioned on the roof aren’t speakers they are actually part of the noise canceling system. It makes your truck super quiet while driving barley any road noise or wind noise. I have them in my Laramie and love it

I bought, looks great, smooth ride. BUT, they did not and will not calibrate the speedometer. MPG, MOH, ODOMETER all way off. Will it damage the transmission as other sites warn against? Is your 22" wheel whats on the door sticker or were they calibrated? Good review. I don't like the tomtom nav software at all. Msrp 76,970. Multifunction tailgate. Thanks. Mileage in mine is half your numbers.
It raises automatically from entry exit mode when you put it in drive, then it goes into a higher stance for normal driving, then lowers again at highway speeds for better aerodynamics

I can’t decide between a 24 Jeep Sahara or a 24 Ram 1500 Tradesman. Both would be almost maxed out on options. My father works at Dodge so he gets really sweet lease deals on vehicles. They’re both about the same price so I am torn. What’s more practical in your opinion? Better mpg? Best space? Best driving? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Currently drive a 2010 Mini Clubman JCW. Need something bigger and more reliable. This car is the most unreliable car I have ever seen.
Hmm.. The Jeep would probably be "nicer", but the Ram would drive better. Which engines would you get? The Ram probably has more space overall inside and out. But with the Jeep you can have more fun - take the doors and roof off, go off roading, etc

That is 18mpgs at most on highway and the highest i have seen so far is 18.4 and 14 to 17 in the city..That 22mpgs are false but what do you expect when you are driving a 4x4 V8

Lack of clarity, the harman and the b&o sounds similar to my mark Levinson, especially the harman. But the bose is obviously not compatible to these three systems.
I disagree. The Bose in the Sierra Denali Ultimate is bar none the best out of all of them. B&O is not loud enough volume wise, and lacks bass. Harman is pretty good and I'd say its better than the regular Bose found in the Silverado High Country.. @@flandrescarlet486
I mean it's subjective, but I think the B&O is super loud. It hurts my ears when it's set to 15. The bass part I agree with you, but you can tune it up. I don't know if there's any difference between the 12 speaker bose systems between the one in Sierra and the one in Silverado. But after I listened to those three systems, Bose is by far my least favorite. Also, the sierra actually feels small inside compare to the Ford and Ram. Weird. @@703Speed

I'm an analog instrument cluster type of guy... I love my 2021 gauge cluster, not much of a fan of all digital clusters yet.. maybe they'll grow on me

I have 2020 ram 1500 black edition love but! But that 19mpg is total BS! My average is 14 mpg. In the best I ever did on the highway 16 mpg.

I prefer the manual telescoping and tilt for the steering. You can adjust it a lot quicker that way
