great video - enjoyed your Alaska videos too. I was at Burning Man this year - still haven't gotten everything clean. Very cool going there when no one else is there.
Hi Craig, Thanks, I bet it was super interesting at Burning Man. I saw pictures and it was a very different experience we had in the same place. Thats really neat.
We did black rock a few years ago. Great trip we just went too early. Snow believe it or not and nesting raptors closed down the canyon. Great video. Cheers to van life
From a friend of mine who traveled there to provide EMT services for Burning Man : Check out the hot springs of the playa. Frog pond is one of them. By the railroad tracks on the east side of the playa. The playa is a. Special kind of beauty. Avoid dark playa as it has high water content and you may not get out even with 4wd .
I gotta get out there at some point, Traklok ougtta make it. Not now though, massive mudhole. I'm just not looking forward to spending 3 days cleaning dust out of the van....
Yes, It can be a little dusty. It will be great if you pick a good weather window without too much wind. And yes, don't go if it's wet. It's super slick and a terrible place to get stuck.
@@Famagogo I'm still cleaning the dust out of the back from the Copper River Hwy, I was pleased that the Top of the World was a muddy mess. Beats clouds of dust.
Incredibly dusty is an understatement. I've been there three times but I love the place.🥰
Dusty for sure. I just did a deep cleaning of the van and removed so much dirt and dust. I think I'm going to get better MPG now. Happy Holidays!
I have absolutely no desire to see Burning Man but would love to be there right now. Nice!👍
I've felt the same way too. But it is a neat area!
Never been to that part of Nevada - and Burning Man Peter - wow!
I've seemed to miss it for decades too. It's out of the way from nearly everywhere. Bit it's a really neat area worth more exploration.
Happy holidays
Cool
It looks like another planet
Yes, it’s an other worldly place. Thanks for watching!

If you’re ever there and see a bunch of guys desert sailing come on over and say HI! 👍
I certainly will. I bet that is really fun!

Thank's. Will you go back? I sure will. But it's good to know to not go just anytime and to make sure it's open and accessible.
we will for sure. We really want to drive through the canyon portion and actually finish the route. Yah, who knew snow would stop us.... @@Famagogo
