I was in that area in the mid 70's. I was supporting the Pan Canal Company servicing light houses in that area. We stayed out of a deactivated Coast Guard base. It was very interesting then probably more so now. Keep going
Hey, Grumpy, It must have been a wonderful time to be down here. I bet you have some great stories from that. We will keep slowly pushing south. Thanks.
Merci, Fred. Nous avons certes un long chemin à parcourir, mais l’un de nos plus grands défis logistiques reste encore à venir. Merci pour votre soutien !
Going from Panama into Costa Rica in 1978, I picked up 2 French hitchhikers. The couldn't get into Costa Rica without a way to get out. I ended up taking the all the way to Little Rock. Always wondered if they made it home. I had an early class B. A Ford hippie van. Great trip camping all the way
Wow! You put in some time setting up all the great shots, Thanks. I hope you can explain what happens in shipping the van. Where is George? Hope he is coming. Wish I was there.
Hi John, Thanks! Yes, we will make a shipping video to hopefully answer all the questions. There is a lot to talk about with it right now. This will be coming in a few weeks. George had to make a quick trip home (flight) to see family. He will be back with us soon for more adventures.
I wish we could get Global insurance, but as far as I know, that doesn't exist. We have to get insurance in each country. It's normally very inexpensive, but some countries, like Ecuador, don't require insurance or have it available at all. It's always something for us to learn about the following country.
Great edit! Congratulations guys. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Thank you! Yes, there is one more adventure in Panama coming. Then we will have a big headache trying to get to Colombia.
Go Peter! ❤
Thanks!

Wow, that drive to the southern point sure is beautiful!
I wish we had been able to do it together. Your fans are wondering where you are.

why do you need to get Insurance ? Don't you have A global policy ? or is that just the Cost of doing business ?
