      Thanks Russell. Bit tired. Been a long day of listening to your last 2 Podcasts on Luminary (Dr Gabor Maté and Nick Estes), as well as some lengthy reading, note taking and reflecting.
      Listening to you now Russell. Yes, it is possible for the veil of ignorance to be lifted from a 'culture of maximum harm', - industrial civilisation. Maybe you will be able to help some people in finding a way of lifting that veil through this series of videos you are going to be doing. It is going to be illuminating and educational and looking forward to seeing them.
      Thank you for all you do and are doing. Much love and respect to you and the team ♥️

      The globalistagenda.org gave TM cancer because he was a threat to their plan. One trip on psychedelics is all it takes to wake up your typical sheeple. Same way they cause everyone that is a threat to their NWO either dies of heart attack, cancer, self inflicted gun shot to the head, strange auto accidents etc. etc. etc. you name them they killed'um. I know unbelievable but I suspect you might think jeffrey epstein didn't kill himself. Now that they are forcing everyone to take the jab they will now have the ability to give you a plethora of issues at the click of a mouse to the 5G system they now have in place. Good luck everyone!

    I met Terence one night at a bookstore he was giving a talk at in Austin 1997. I had no clue who he was. He spoke about DMT and psilocybin. I had no idea what that was. I bought his book, 'Food of the Gods'. He signed it. I told him, "I have no idea who you are". He laughed and said, "Well, I hope you do now". Some friends randomly showed up that same evening with psilocybin cubensis. So I met Terence and took mushrooms unexpectedly on the same night. Synchronicity.

Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.” - McKenna

If a transcendental life changing experience that orients you in a specific way, whether it's logically "real" doesn't matter. The cultures taking the drugs weren't interested in a logical, rational, scientifically deductible way of being. They operated in a world as a forum for action. I do think you can argue the scientific viability of these psychoactive induced states that betoken cultural enlightenment. Look at John Hopkins University studies they're fascinating. Keep making videos and personally the background music was a little too much but maybe that's just me.

    Terence also said, "Shaman are a beadyeyed lot " Meaning , You cant always put your trust in others. Why he did so much deep voyaging alone , in the dark. He also made fun of needing to follow a guru. Always reinforcing that the most interesting person to follow is yourself. Your own journey . And that is why I always laugh when I say that T is my guru. Couldn't happen to a more wonderful teacher. I loved that his talks contained so much philosophy . And that he had read all the Alchemical works of Jung, which I had been doing, and his tapes and talks were the only place were someone knew the path I was on. And could tell me , thats great ! i did a fair bit of psychedelics 15 years ago or so. I always thought that the one most powerful effect they had is the shattering of the ego and sort of self-perception. I think bombardment of sensory inputs they come with in heavy doses achieves this, but actually i experiemnted with smaller doses, say only 1 tab of acid or a few shrooms. The same destruction of ego is easily achieved without the hallucinations and highly modified perceptions.
    Now years later, with some time spent reading, meditating, breathing and presence; that same ego loss can be achieved. So, if i came across those substances ago, id probably try them out again, but i wouldnt seek them out knowing you can somewhat easily achieve that loss of ego at any moment of every day. What a beautiful thing we have learned. Complete inner peace.
    I sorta see these substances now as a cheatcode to the ultimate reality within and surrounding us all. Especially if you are unaware of this realm. But not a necessity :)

    "It (higher states of consciousness) doesn't give us any good theories about the metaphysical structure of reality."
    - John Vervaeke
    During a Ayahuasca ceremony I journeyed to a hyper dimensional space where the shaman was waiting for me. In this shared space he helped me work on my shadows which we did not previously discuss in 3d spacetime. The next morning the shaman and I were the first ones up. We were preparing breakfast for the group. While we were cutting up fruit, without me telling him, he described what he encountered in me while he was doing his work. He perfectly described my inner experience and the dynamics of my relationship with my wife which was something I was wrestling with at that moment in hyperspace. While John may be right that my experience can't be used as scientific evidence for a theory, at the same time this experience put big holes in the untested metaphysics of materialism, for me. Science should be agnostic when it comes to metaphysics. Why is that not so with materialism?

    • @Ness2Alyza
      @Ness2Alyza 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As a scientist I dislike the term metaphysics, since any form of reality would still have just physics, however exotic and unknown it may be.
      My expertise in dreamstates are closely related to the study of local reality-physics.
      The manifestations of reality can be confusing, especially when dimensions are not well understood.
      Math is the true key to connecting any form of reality.
      Science in dreams is possible. I hope to have a book done about it within 10 years (too many projects currently).
      Stay tuned in.

    • @KFO-fr5ok
      @KFO-fr5ok 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ness2Alyza metaphysics is philosophy, not physics. Any form of reality having some sort of discernable physical attributes, must be described in a language to be discerned and reckoned with. For a being to begin describing physical attributes with accuracy there will be axiomatic presuppositions because you can't begin from nowhere. Often these axioms are embedded so deeply into the mind and body and culture of the observer scientist that such presuppositions may pass unrecognized.
      This is where begins the metaphysic-
      That from which began the framework of understanding.
      That reality is comprised of matter and matter interactions is the current paradigm's primary axiomatic starting place, but that doesn't mean its fundamentally true, just useful.

    • @Ness2Alyza
      @Ness2Alyza 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KFO-fr5ok meta can be read as "all", so the word can be interpreted as all-physics, and is usually used as "above physics".
      Theoretical Physics is what tries to cover the parts outside current paradigms.
      Logic can be used in philosophy, but since words don't have fixed meaning, math is usually more useful.
      Astrology is another example of a word having acquired meanings which nullify its practical usage.
      If there is unknown physics at play with spirits or whatever; it would still be physics, is my point.

    "I am old, older than thought in your species, which is itself fifty times older than your history. Though I have been on earth for ages I am from the stars. My home is no one planet, for many worlds scattered through the shinning disc of the galaxy have conditions which allow my spores an opportunity for life. The mushroom which you see is the part of my body given to see thrills and sun bathing, my true body is a fine network of fibers growing through the soil. These networks cover acres and may have far more connections than the number of the human brain.
    My mycelial network is nearly immortal-- only the sudden toxification of a planet or the explosion of its parent star can wipe me out. By means impossible to explain because of certain misconceptions in your model of reality all my mycelial networks in the galaxy are in hyperlight communication through space and time.
    My mycelial body is as fragile as a spiders web but the collective hypermind and memory is a vast historical archive of the career of evolving intelligence on many world in our spiral star swarm. Space, you see, is a vast ocean to those hardy life forms that have the ability to reproduce from spores, for spores are covered with the hardest organic substance known.
    Across the aeons of time and space drift many spore forming life-forms in suspended animation for millions of years until contact is made with a suitable environment. Few such species are minded, only myself and my recently evolved near relatives have achieved the hyper-communication mode and memory capacity that makes us leading members in the community of galactic intelligence. How the hyper-communication mode operates is a secret which will not be likely given to humans.
    But the means should be obvious: it is the occurrence of psilocybin and psilocin in the boisynthetic pathways of my living body that opens for me and my symbiotes the vision screen to many worlds. You as an individual and homo sapiens as a species are on the brink of the formation of a symbiotic relationship with my genetic material that will eventually carry humanity into the galactic mainstream of higher civilizations.
    Since it is not easy for you to recognize other varieties of intelligence around you, your most advanced theories of politics and society have advanced only as far as the notion of collectivism. But beyond the cohesion of the members of a species into a single social organism there lie richer and even more baroque evolutionary possibilities. Symbiosis is one of these. Symbiosis is a relation of mutual dependence and the positive benefits for both species involved.
    Symbiotic relationships between myself and civilized forms of higher animals have been established many times and in many places throughout the long ages of my development. These relationships have been mutually useful; within my memory is the knowledge for a free ticket to new worlds around suns younger and more stable than your own.
    To secure an eternal existence down for the long river of cosmic time, I again and again offer this agreement to higher beings and thereby have spread throughout the galaxy over the long mellinia.
    My mycelial network has no organs to move the world, no hands; but higher animals with manipulative abilities can become partners with the star knowledge within me and if they act in good faith, return both themselves and their humble mushroom teacher to the million worlds to which all citizens of our starswarm are heir." - The Mushroom Speaks by Terrence Mckenna

He was with his brother when he passed from this world and i find it so awesome that one of the last things that happened in McKenna's consciousness was his being blitzed by awareness that LOVE is the great force and the only thing that matters. He was awash in that nectar at the end. The thing of it is, what McKenna gave us in his generosity and brilliance added hugely to the quotient of love on the planet, for we loved him and what he awakened in our ability to see vaster and vaster realms of truth and being. Terrence McKenna changed my life I am so grateful for his existence ,what a wonderful human being,I’m delighted your doing these videos and shedding a light on this man ,he is so important,I can’t imagine my life without ever taking psychedelics ,they opened my heart and lead me to Understand that’ everything is always okay ,I can’t really express in words how happy it makes me just simply knowing that Terence McKenna was here on earth and his adventure of a life brought us so much understanding of not just psychedelics but society as a whole ,his speech for a maps convention with Rick doblin was amazing 😻

    psychedelics are like secret doors left for us by Mother Nature - hidden in the woods - so that we can get away now and again and reevaluate 🤓

    Watching countless interviews on Jeffery Mishlove's New Thinking Allowed has completely transformed my view of the world over the past few years. Would love to see him on this channel or your podcast.

    I have had all sorts of addictions and 8 Ayahuasca ceremonies with the Shipibo changed my life. These plant medicines are the greatest cure for addiction and trauma for many people if used consciously in my opinion. McKenna was a big influence as was his brother Dennis.

      Mushrooms saved me from a 20 year alcohol binge. They are anti-addictive... no withdrawals either.

    It would not constitute a relapse. People don’t get addicted to psychedelics. They are work, inquiry... not escape or denial n

    I think Terence McKenna is one of the most important philosophical minds to have ever graced us with his presence. The mastery and breadth of his understanding and ideas are as consciousness-expanding as the indole-tryptamines he advocated for and I’m delighted that you’re discussing his life & work. Thank you 🙏❤️

    “Mind is the ground of being. But we do not understand what mediates its intransigence. In other words, if the world is an idea, why isnt it the way we want to be? Why is it so resistant if it is so plastic? So my approach has been, and i recommend this to you and especially young people who are just starting out into the jungles and ushrams of this world. I investigated the weird by rational means. And i was never a believer. My theory went like this; the truth is the truth. It does not require the co-operation of me. On the other hand, all deception does require my co-operation. So lean as hard as you want on the flying saucer witness, the guru, the method, lean as hard as you want. The real thing can take your leaning. Truth will not crumble before your critical onslaught, bullshit will. It is madness to approach a given spiritual or paranormal phenomenon reverently, with eyes averted.”
    Terence McKenna

    I too, love the sound and delivery of Terence's voice and words.
    The way his mind functioned and delivered its thoughts were simply astonishing.

    This guy is interesting. Chris Bache went through 73 high dose LSD sessions. He wrote a book documenting these sessions "LSD and the Mind of the Universe: Diamonds from Heaven". Recently retired from a long career in academia so no he can actually talk about it. He would be a fun interview I think.
