Maybe there is some files corrupt on your computer. I would attempt to install the latest service pack and Windows Updates. Maybe this will fix the problem.

I assume you are saying that you do not known the local administrators password.
If this is the case, you can reset the password using software called "Offline NT Password & Registry Editor" also know as ntpasswd.
If you Google it you should be able to find their web site and download the software.

i dj on my laptop and i made a user account for my other dj - my dj software on my desktop does not show up on his desktop - how can i make it so both user accounts can access the dj software

djpaulywood Add the shortcut to the following folder C:\Users\Public\Desktop Adding files to this folder will have them appear for all users.

Do a internet search for ntpasswd. Offline NT Password & registry editor is a tool which you can use to reset the password.
